Jenny Successfully Traps Jack. Shannon (Pinky) Shocks Jack’s Parents
Mrs. Hung reprimands Jenny for accusing her husband all day long. She asks her to go to the hospital and check if something is wrong with her mind. Jenny shôòts back at her, saying that it’s her son who has a mental problem.
She says Jack is a shæmelëss womanizer and Betsy argues that she has no right to complain because she had snatched her best friend’s husband. Jenny rants and spites her, taunting her with how her son had caused Pinky’s dëāth. Betsy is appalled and refuses to believe it.
Windsor confronts Jack in his office and demands that he stay away from Shannon. He threatens not to go easy on him if he doesn’t listen but Jack gloats as he declares that Shannon is his woman.
As Windsor tries to puñch some sense into him, Shannon shows up and holds him off. She announces him as her brother and both men seem surprised. Shannon asks Windsor to go home while she has a talk with Jack. At home, Windsor gets all worked up because Shannon had called him ‘brother’.
Shannon (Pinky) convinces Jack to be nicer to Windsor from now on since she had heard that they’ve never been on good terms. Jack asks about what had happened last night at the hotel and Shannon takes offense and pretends to be upset that he doesn’t remember anything. She implies that they had done what couples do in bed.
When Jack asks about the picture Jenny had received, Shannon tells him that he had sent it himself because he wanted to divorce Jenny and marry her (Shannon). Jack says he shouldn’t have said such things to her and Shannon implies that her mother might probably sue him if he goes back on his words.
Jenny confronts Mrs. Gao about how her daughter has been trying to seduce her husband. Giselle merely tells her to go and talk to said husband. When Jenny continues with her trash talking, Giselle berates her and her husband altogether before kicking her out of her office. Jack makes a pathetic attempt to appease and befriend Windsor.
Later, Mr. Hung has a talk with Jack about his issues with his wife. He literally threatens to dīê in front of him if he plunges their family into chaos again with another affair. Jack says he shouldn’t say things like that and Gordon offers to put him in charge of the biggest ongoing project of the company.
Mrs. Hung confronts her son about what he had done to Pinky. He urges Jack to stop seeing Shannon lest he would be finished if Jenny goes crazy and reports him to the police. A moment later, Jack meets up with Shannon and asks that they stop seeing each other for a while because getting a divorce would cost him too much.
Shannon takes offense, even much so when Jack says they can get back together when things cool down. She snubs him and storms off. Windsor expresses his feelings to Shannon and tells her that he’s ready to wait for as long as she needs to get her rëveñge. He tells her to let him know if she has feelings for him or not and Shannon says she doesn’t lövê him.
After Windsor walks away, Shannon hopes that he would be able to get over her and live a happy life because she doesn’t deserve his lövê. Jenny talks on the phone with a major investor of Dr. Queen who’s interested in the organic makeup she just launched.
Jenny decides to sign a contract with the investor and she takes delight in the fact that Dr. Queen would lose the contract to her. She’s confident that she would be rolling in money in no time. Mr. Hung asks for the daughter of Mrs. Gao who has been competing against Venus. Pauline shows up at the Lin house uninvited bearing snacks.
Mrs. Lin tries to run her off but her husband is delighted with the food. Meanwhile, Gordon has the shock of his life when he sets his eyes on Shannon Gao. Shannon (Pinky) takes pleasure in mesmerizing Mr. Hung. She asks if he had called her over to talk about his son Jack or daughter-in-law Jenny.
Gordon asks of her relationship with Jack and Shannon says they’re just friends. She recounts how Jenny had tried to embarrass her publicly many times, adding that Jenny’s bad behavior outside isn’t good for his image. Gordon asks about her family and Shannon indulges him.
After she leaves the office, Gordon orders his man to do a background check on Shannon. Shannon comes to see Jack in his office and he reminds her of the agreement they had made. He worries about what could happen should his wife find her there. Shannon calls him a coward and laments over how he had led her on.
On account of the big project his dad had given him, Jack tells Shannon that he can’t allow anything to get in the way of his work. He asks for some time to get things done. Shannon snubs Jack, saying that he’s nothing but a coward controlled by his mean wife and overbearing father. Now at Dr. Queen, she narrates her encounter with Mr. Hung to Mrs. Gao.
She’s certain that Gordon would probably look into her background so she plans to make sure that nothing gets out. Shannon asks if she knows Gordon and Giselle claims that she doesn’t. She then asks about how Shannon’s father had been like and Giselle fills her in.
Shirleen comes to see Windsor in his office and tells him that she’s in charge of the interior designs. They exchange pleasantries and start off on a good note and get right to work. Word is brought back to Mr. Hung regarding the background check on Shannon Gao, as well as the rumors of her having an affair with Jack.
Gordon finds it strange that a woman who looks like Pinky has become his son’s lôvër. On this note, he asks his man to get him a picture of when Shannon had graduated from the arts school.Gordon deliberates on the information he received. He begins to wonder whether Pinky is really alive and trying to get rëveñge on them.
Mr. Lin throws a fit when his wife decides to serve him rice with leftover soup from yesterday instead of the dishes Pauline had brought them. Mrs. Lin plans to give the said dishes to Mrs. Gao since she has a favor to ask of her. Pauline digs in heartily while Mr. Lin complains bitterly to his wife. Mr. Lin then scolds Pauline for her bad manners before he also digs in.
Mrs. Hung is brought by some friends of hers to Dr. Queen and they urge her to try out their services in order to get to know their strengths. The girls go on about how Shannon Gao is reportedly doing well than Jenny but Betsy refuses to believe so. She agrees to go in and have a look on the condition that her friends pay for everything and make sure Jenny doesn’t find out.
A moment later inside Dr. Queen, Shannon (Pinky) finds Mrs. Hung seated at the parlor and she musters courage and walks over to her. Betsy reprimands her for keeping her waiting but she’s startled and left dumbfounded when she sets her eyes on Shannon. Shannon stares back at her innocently, regarding her with a confused expression.
