“They have the means and power. It’s easy for them to distort the facts. What if nobody believes you? Maybe it’s time for us to accept that we have no chance of winning against these powerful people. Maybe it’s time for us to admit that we’re already defeated.”
The episode begins with Kyle telling Rica of how he feared losing her because she hadn’t been answering his calls last night. Rica teases and assures him that she would never let go or give up on him. Their talk shift to the investigation on the mayor and out of nowhere comes the man under discussion, along with attorney Dizon and Ella.
Meanwhile, Dan has a talk with his son about his history and reputation as Stallone and how Karla had changed him. A flashback reveals how Karla had snubbed Dan after he had gotten into another fight. On another occasion, Dan hangs out with his buddies and makes known to them his intention of starting a furniture shop.
As Karla eavesdrops, the guys make mockery of Dan, telling him that it’s a crazy idea because every piece of furniture he makes will surely be broken because he always gets into fights. In no time, Karla later approaches Dan and hands him some money to make her a new, bigger cabinet for Rica.
Dan gladly agrees so Karla becomes his first customer. Presently, he recounts how Karla had believed in him. He states that he never cared about what people said about her because they had no idea how amazing and wonderful she is.
Nico breaks down and wails about how he wants to take rëveñge on everyone who has been berating his mother and eldest sister. Dan relates with him but points out that viölençe would never stop people from saying bad things about them.
While the Ramoneses have dinner, Jigs reveals his intention of running for mayor and using the whole viral scandal issue to their advantage. Alberto and Bobby take delight in their wiçked scheme.
Cassandra has dinner with her fiancee at a restaurant and she gets quite upset and outspoken when he defends Jigs and brands the women accusing him as liars. Back at the mansion, Alberto is gloating about how women betray each other and never stand together in dire situations.
Raven eavesdrops as her grandpa goes on about how Rica and her mother are being criticized. On that note, he declares that women will stand with them and not with other women. Raven observes as they laugh mockingly.
At the Sicats, Rica’s camp deliberate on how to revive their campaign against Jigs. Karla relates with Rica and Ella but worries that no one would believe them anymore. She breaks down and insinuates that they might not be able to get the justice they want after all.
“They have the means and power,” Karla states. “It’s easy for them to distort the facts. Rica, what if nobody believes you? Or Ella? Or even me? Maybe we gave too much trust to people, when the truth is we have no hope at all. ”Rica, Troy, attorney Dizon and the others look on silenty.
Karla continues: “What if the Ramoneses have põisoñed and brainwashed the people’s minds that they refuse to listen and believe in anything else? What do we do then? Maybe it’s time for us to accept that we have no chance of winning against these powerful people. Maybe it’s time for us to admit that we’re already defeated.”
Troy and Dan try to strengthen Karla in their own ways and Rica merely asks her to take a rest. Back at the Ramones mansion, Raven joins the family at the table and Alberto assumes that she is on Jigs’ side because of her presence.
Jigs leaves the table with Raven to show her something and Raven brings up his decision to run for mayor, something that his family has always pushed him to do. She asks if he knows what he really wants or if he would always do what his father and grandpa ask of him.
“Jigs!” Bobby calls out from the other room.
“Just give me a minute,” Jigs says to his cousin.
Raven gets in his way before he leaves “Can I borrow your laptop for a while? I forgot to send an email to a client.”
“Yeah, of course. No problem.”
Dan asks Troy what he plans to do about Romeo Dimayuga and Troy assures him that the crook would not be able to get near Karla or Rica. Meanwhile, Raven lays hold of Jigs’ laptop and recalling Axel’s advice, she searches the room and finds some external drives. Jigs returns just then but gets led on.
After slipping the drives into her bag, Raven asks of Jigs’ old laptop and he reveals that his father had taken it from him. It is revealed that the despiçable councilor had been caught watching the original $ëx video with Rica. But of course he doesn’t say that incriminating last part.
Jigs recalls the incident and claims that his father had confiscated his laptop and other gadgets out of anger and for no reason. Raven indulges him and makes him admit that he doesn’t have any sensitive stuff stored in his cloud. Back at the Sicats, Troy convinces Kyle to tighten up security at Balai Arkitektura.
He commends Rica’s bravery and notes that he was only able to muster the strength and the courage to correct his mistakes because of her. After Pogs learns about the incident that had occurred at the birthday party, he goes in search of Bea and finds her trying to avoid her friends.
He approaches her and tries to get her to see that her family and her parents are one of a kind even with all their mistakes. Bea understands but worries that her friends would never accept her again because of the recent scandals. Pogs implies that that might not be the case but Bea refuses to believe so.
“You still have a family who lōvês and accepts you,” Pogs mentions. “The Sicats, they will never turn their backs on you.
The problem with you, Bea, you want attention from others, that’s why you fail to see those people who treasure you.” Rica regards her parents hanging out at the furniture shop for a moment before she heads into her room and goes through their family’s photo album.
She then takes to her social media account and makes a post which tells the story of how löviñg and strong her mother is, likening her situation to hers. Back in school, Bea runs into Brax and the girls and admits to them that she has been trying to hide, only for the girls to apologize for being unable to defend her at the party.
The girls assure Bea that they have her back and cue in a group hug to leave Bea smiling with relief. Pogs looks on gladly. Later that night, Cassandra has a video call with her father who notices that she has a problem.
Cassandra admits to it and tells him that it’s about something that she thought she had moved on from. While Rica reads the positive and negative comments on her post, her mother shows up and revealing that she had seen what she had posted earlier, she thanks her.
Karla apologizes for what she had said earlier about giving up on justice and Rica sympathizes with her and assures her that they have her back just like she has theirs. The next morning, Bobby is startled awake by his father’s screams.
A moment later, the Ramones family meet up and he suggests that they talk to Cassandra again. Alberto says it won’t do them any good because her family is in ãttaçk mode. He decides to go and have a talk with a friend of his who happens to be a secretary of the justice department.
Alberto charges Bobby to make sure that he has the prosecutor by the throat. He then orders Jigs to cancel all his meetings and events and make sure to avoid the public eye for now. The Sicat family are delighted with the sudden turn of events, and their hashtag begins trending again.
Rica expresses her appreciation to her family for all their support, saying that she might not have made it this far if not for them. The episode concludes as the Sicats bask in a warm group hug.
