Ethan’s Horrible Date With Pauline. Jenny Comes Face-to-face With Shannon (Pinky).
Jack calls Shannon (Pinky) on phone and agrees to join her at the swimming club. A moment later, he observes as Shannon swims and begins thinking that she couldn’t be Pinky since Pinky was scared of water.
Jack joins Shannon (Pinky) and they have fun splashing water on each other. Pinky deliberately scratches Jack’s back in the process and apologizes. Jack doesn’t mind though. He offers to take Pinky out to lunch and she gladly accepts.
Pauline bothers her uncle with meeting Pinky’s brother. She refuses to eat until she sees him so Mr. Hung agrees to take her over to their house on the condition that she doesn’t tell anyone in the family about it.
Nevertheless, Ethan shows up and Pauline begins throwing herself at him. Gordon manages to convince her to wait for him outside while he has a talk with Ethan. Ethan makes it crystal clear to Mr. Hung that his family won’t accept a single penny from him regarding the compensation.
Gordon consents to it and manages to convince him to continue doing business with him in spite of everything. Stating that Pauline and Pinky used to be close, Gordon pleads with Ethan to take out his niece and get her to eat something. Ethan reluctantly gives in.
Soon enough, Pauline strives to get Ethan to go and watch a movie together since she had seen on TV that people who date usually do that. Ethan cuts her off and objects to it, saying that they are not seeing each other. Ethan decides to take Pauline home. Pauline is excited to see where Pinky used to live, but Mrs. Lin isn’t the least bit pleased.
She has no choice but to babysit Pauline while Ethan goes out to take care of something. Without asking for any kind of permission, Pauline begins eating a meal Mrs. Lin had prepared on the table, much to the displeasure of the older woman. Pauline enjoys the food and notes that Pinky used to make that kind of food for her.
Mrs. Lin is warmed up with the statement. When Pauline begins choking on the food, Mrs. Lin quickly brings her water to drink. She gets upset when Pauline pukes onto the table, ruining the entire food. Ethan returns home and begins sweet-talking Pauline in such a comical manner. He tries to ki$$ her but she holds him off and tells him that she’s shy.
Ethan goes on about how his parents have always wanted them to marry and have a baby. Ethan carries Pauline to the bed and she eagerly braces herself to make out with him. In no time, Pauline is making ki$$ing noises when Ethan actually arrives home this time to find her in his bed.
He wakes her up from sleep and asks why she’s drooling. Pauline says he had just ki$$ed her. Ethan is appalled. Mr. and Mrs. Lin come upon the scene as Pauline makes more pathetic ki$$ing gestures again. Ethan regrets having agreed to take care of her and his parents are amused with it all.
“This is bull crap,” Ethan mutters. “I’ll never clean my name.”
Mr. Lin laughs. “Of course we wouldn’t believe what a fòöl says.” He gives his son a high-five and teases him with how Pauline seems to be falling in lövê with him.
Shannon (Pinky) dines happily with Jack and gives him a cologne she had bought for him. When Jack tries it, he comes to lövê it and decides to use it more often. Pinky stares at him and begins rambling on about how she can’t seem to stop thinking about him despite the fact that he’s a married man.
She apologizes and makes a show of going home, only to ‘pass out’ in Jack’s arms. A moment later, Pinky is dropped off at home by Jack while Windsor observes annoyingly.
Windsor confronts Pinky and asks why she had let Jack drive her home.
Pinky says she had done so in order to prove to him that she really is Shannon Gao. Windsor makes another attempt to convince her to drop her rëveñge but Pinky won’t hear it. She’s determined to destroy Jack’s family and make him pay double the suffering he inflicted on her. Windsor makes a futile attempt to reason with her.
After giving him a piece of her mind, Pinky heads into her room upstairs. Giselle comes over and Windsor urges her to try to talk Pinky out of her rëveñge. However, his mother justifies Pinky’s intentions and points out that she might just leave them if they try to stop her and carry on with her revenge on her own.
On that account, she suggests that they keep her close so they can protect her when necessary. Meanwhile, Jack returns home, only to be startled and confronted by his dear wife.
Jenny questions her husband about what he’s been up to the whole day and why he didn’t answer her calls. Jack claims that he had been working all day and had left the phone in his car.
Jenny notices the new tie he’s wearing and when asks, Jack says he had bought it. Jenny unties the tie and throws it away, saying that it’s ugly. Jack is upset but doesn’t get the chance to react because Jenny begins sniffing him. She gets upset to learn that Jack had supposedly bought a new cologne as well.
Jack makes the mistake of asking his wife to help him take off his clothes for a shower. Jenny notices the scratch on his back and gets all worked up over it. Jack comes up with some flimsy excuses but she refuses to believe him. She begins pounding him and ends up scratching the corner of his eye.
Jenny gets in Jack’s face and threatens to die with him if she ever finds out that he’s cheating on her. The next morning, Jack puts on some sunglasses to cover up the scratch. Thanks to Pauline’s inquisitiveness, Mrs. Hung sees the scratch so she confronts Jenny and starts scolding her.
Jenny says she should just save all her curses for later because she has clients waiting for her. In no time, Jenny gets to her office and after learning of how Dr. Queen has been trying to win her customers over to their side, she storms the beauty salon to confront Shannon (Pinky).
Jenny is shocked when she comes face-to-face with Pinky. Pinky (Shannon) puts on a show of ignorance, even as Jenny rants nonstop about her being Pinky and not Shannon.
She doesn’t find her birthmark and as she rants some more, Mrs. Gao shows up and threatens to throw her out if she keeps screaming. Jenny is upset that Shannon has been dragging Venus’ name through the dirt.
Pinky scoffs and indulges her and after a few more exchange of words, Giselle has her call security. Jenny continues running her mouth up to the point the guards show up and take hold of her. Before she’s taken away, Shannon (Pinky) pours a glass of water on her. The guards then drag her all the way out of the building.
Jenny calls someone on phone and asks the person to do a background check on Mrs. Gao and her daughter. She plans to make sure that Jack doesn’t meet Shannon so he doesn’t mistake her for Pinky and fall in lövê with her. Later at home, Pinky talks to Jack on phone and agrees to come over to his office to eat together.
Pinky calls Jenny and disguising her voice as a receptionist of Shufon Group, she tells her that her husband has asked for her (Jenny) to come and pick him up because he’s not feeling well. She then hangs up when Jenny tries to question her.
A moment later, Jack enjoys a meal Pinky had brought him. When Pinky discovers the scratch at the corner of his eye, Jack claims that it had been an accident so she decides to trim his fingernails for him. Pinky leads him and gets his undivided attention. Jack then asks her why she likes him.
