Pinky Continues To Manipulate Jack. Jenny Is In Serious Trouble With Her Father-In-Law.
Shannon (Pinky) comes to Jack’s defense against the irritated investor who had lost his money. She points out that investment is like a gamble and Jack hadn’t forced him to do so. The guy asks who she is and pointing out that today is Mr. and Mrs. Wong’s anniversary, Pinky tells him to feel free to make a scene if he likes.
As if on cue, the said couple show up to question the disgruntled investor and he apologizes to them and Jack as well before leaving with his group. Shannon (Pinky) has Jack change into a shirt she had supposedly bought for her brother.
She reveals that she had thrown away his wine-stained shirt and Jack thanks her for the kind gesture and her assistance earlier. He stares at her for a while and makes note of how different she is from Pinky who was nothing short of timid and weak.
Shannon indulges and leads him on with such gladness and excitement. They eventually say their goodbyes and part ways. Windsor can’t seem to understand why Pinky had gone to see Jack after everything he had done to her, and Pinky points out that she’s determined to convince him that she’s the real Shannon Gao.
Mrs. Gao comes over to tell Pinky of the phone call she had received from Mrs. Wong. Evidently, she was the most eye-catching woman at the party. Meanwhile, Jack returns home and his wife throws a tantrum, upset that he had stayed out late.
Jenny questions her husband about the new shirt he’s wearing. Jack claims that a blockheaded waiter had poured a whole glass of wine on him at the party so his friend had given him the shirt. Still, Jenny threatens to deal with him if she finds out that he’s been fooling around with another woman.
The next morning at Venus, Jenny learns that Dr. Queen is going to purchase the company because of the huge plummet in the overall sales.Jenny is quite upset over the issue. She calls her boss on phone to vent out her frustration. In no time, Jenny approaches her mother-in-law at home.
She asks her to lend her some of the money Mr. Hung had asked her to give to Pinky’s family so she could use it to invest in Venus. Betsy reveals that she’s already lost half of the money after investing into the stock market.
Jenny then convinces her to lend her the other half with the promise of making her the president of Venus. Jack runs into Pinky and offers to give her a ride to her dancing class. Once there, Pinky thanks him and heads inside the building.
She happens to leave her coat in Jack’s car so he follows her and observes for a while as she dances. While Windsor regards them both unnoticed, Pinky slips and Jack comes over to check up on her. He decides to drive her back home since she had sprained her ankle.
Once there, Jack is amazed at the self-made paintings in display in the room. Pinky indulges Jack and sends him to get her an ice bag to ease the swelling on her leg. In no time, she receives a phone call from Windsor who demands that she make Jack leave the house because he doesn’t want him there.
As soon as Jack returns with the ice, Pinky subtly dismisses him. Windsor then shows up to vent his anger on her, upset that she’s risking her life for the sake of rëveñge. He begins questioning her motive, insinuating that she might still be in lövê with Jack.
Windsor urges Pinky to let go of everything and leave a happy and simple life and Pinky demands that he stop meddling in her business. Later, Mrs. Gao tells Pinky of her plan to contact a cosmetic factory to produce a whole lot more of her product if their clients lövê them. Pinky is delighted.
At Shufon Group, Ethan brings Mr. Hung a document about the number and prices of the materials he had ordered from them. They have a few exchange of words over the unit price. Mr. Hung asks Ethan to go and buy himself some better clothes now that he has extra money and is also doing business.
Ethan takes offense at that, even as Gordon urges him to use Pinky’s compensation money wisely. Ethan scoffs and says that he and his family never received any compensation. He then lashes out at him for how he had treated his father when he had come to plead with him about the deposit which Jack had redrawn.
Pauline makes a futile attempt to convince Jack to take her to see Ethan who she misses. Suddenly, Gordon storms in and confronts his wife, demanding for the money he had asked her to give to Pinky’s family. When Betsy doesn’t succeed in fôöling him, she reveals that she had given Jenny the money to buy Venus.
Gordon gives Jenny a look and calls her a mönstêr, saying that she had stolen Pinky’s husband and røbbēd her family of their compensation. Jenny tries to explain but Gordon shuts her up and demands that she transfer the money to Ethan’s account by the end of tomorrow. He would call him to confirm it.
After he leaves with Pauline, Betsy asks Jenny to return the money and Jenny tells her that she had already used everything as a down payment for Venus. Mrs. Hung gets upset and can’t seem to understand why her daughter-in-law can cause so much trouble.
Jack cautions Jenny to pay back his father lest he send her to jail. Later at Venus, Jenny calls Ethan on phone and asks him to come meet her in the office because she has something urgent to tell him. Meanwhile, Pinky calls Windsor on phone and asks him to come and meet her downstairs so she could give him a surprise.
While she waits, Jack chances upon her and Shannon (Pinky) is compelled to tolerate him and even lets him take the gift (a tie) she had brought for Windsor. When Jack struggles to fix the tie, Pinky helps him. Windsor witnesses the scene and waits until Jack leaves before he storms over.
He accuses Pinky of asking him out so she could prove to him that she has control of Jack. Pinky makes a futile attempt to explain things. Windsor expresses his disgust over how she’s changed into something terrible and has been flirting with the enemy. He urges her to stop her plan but Pinky says she can’t do that because it’s too late.
Windsor offers to help Pinky explain everything to Jack so she could drop her rëveñge. Nevertheless, Pinky refuses to do so and pleads with him to just help her. Still, Windsor won’t listen to reason so Pinky vows to never forgive him if he exposes who she is to Jack.
At Venus, Jenny explains her situation to Ethan and tries to convince him to cover for her when her father-in-law calls him. Ethan is reluctant to believe her lies, even as she justifies how she had betrayed him. Though Ethan still doubts her sincerity, he states that he has no interest in the compensation money and Jenny seems relieved.
