Ethan’s Terrible Encounter With Pauline & Her Family. Gordon Falls Into Giselle’s Trap. Pinky Takes Jack For A Ride.
Pinky hides behind Windsor as Jack and Jenny approach. When he’s alerted, Windsor glances behind for a moment and he’s surprised to see that his boss is actually Pinky’s ex-husband. As Jack inches closer with his wife, Windsor deliberately ki$$es Pinky and quickly turns her to face him so her face isn’t exposed.
Jack begins questioning him but fortunately, Jenny drags her husband way before he can come any closer. Windsor takes Pinky aside and reveals to her that he works for Shufon Group which is run by Jack and his father. He’s appalled that the obnoxious manager is actually the one who had left her for deãd in the ocean.
At Dr. Queen, Pinky makes a cream which Mrs. Gao tests and seems to like. Pauline keeps checking her phone and shaking it as she waits for Ethan to call her. After waiting for a while, she decides to call Pinky’s brother if he doesn’t call her by the count of three.
Pauline is delighted when her phone rings at the last second. She picks it up excitedly but ends up disappointed when she comes to know that the caller is Shirleen. Mrs. Hung begins wondering if her niece is really waiting for some guy’s call.
A moment later, Pauline calls Ethan and convinces him to meet up with her so he could come and get some stuff Pinky left at the house. While Pinky has her dance lesson, Jenny is informed of how a client of theirs had switched to Dr. Queen and decided to let Shannon (Pinky) do their skincare.
Jenny begins ranting about how Shannon is inferior and of no threat to her. Meanwhile, Ethan gets upset when he finds that Pauline had made him meet up to pick up junk stuff. He storms off and Pauline goes after him and almost ends up getting run over by a car on the road.
Ethan shoves Pauline out of the car’s path at the last minute, and they both sustain minor injuries and bruises in the process. At Dr. Queen, Shannon (Pinky) receives a phone call from Jenny who tries to manipulate her to come and work for her.
Pinky indulges and taunts her, saying that she would have to pay her a million won. Mrs. Gao finds it amusing. Pauline is carried home by Ethan after she had been treated at the hospital. Though Ethan explains what had happened, Mrs. Hung refuses to believe it. She lashes out at him and blames him for the incident.
She has her husband called and told that Pinky’s brother had caused Pauline to have an accident. When Gordon arrives home, he slãps Ethan and begins berating him. Ethan faces off with the older man and before things get any more physical, Pauline butts in and comes to Ethan’s defense, saying that he had saved her life.
After giving Gordon a piece of his mind, Ethan storms out and Pauline goes after him and apologizes. Ethan snubs her so she goes to vent out her frustration on her uncle for treating Pinky’s brother so badly. Gordon consoles her and promises to make things right.
Jenny comes to see Mrs. Gao at her office to lament over the client she had stolen from her. Giselle argues that the client was just smart enough to come to her salon on her own.
Mrs. Gao taunts Jenny with how she had tried to poach Shannon.
Jenny asks to see Shannon but Giselle says she would need an appointment because she’s fully booked already and can’t even spare a single minute to see her. Later, Giselle comes to check up on Pinky while she works. She offers to have some samples of her products tested so she could promote them in her beauty salon.
Pinky couldn’t be anymore delighted. Having no shame, Mr. Hung brings some bags of gifts to Ethan as a way of apologizing to him. Mr. Lin entertains him but Mrs. Lin treats him with hostility. Gordon apologizes to Ethan but he refuses to hear of it.
When Gordon discovers that the Lin family is in the business of selling building materials, he offers to buy from them for a whole year in order to repay Ethan for saving his niece. In no time, the Lins inform Mrs. Gao about it and she asks that they put their differences aside and sign the contract.
Giselle is delighted that Gordon had fallen into her trap so easily. Pinky continues with her several lessons and has orthodontic treatment. She has a mole done on her face and gets rid of the others on her body. Following her body transformation, Shannon (Pinky) attends a wedding anniversary and inadvertently passes by Jack without notice.
During the event, Jack has the shock of his life to see Shannon (Pinky) there. Jack goes after Pinky and strives to get her to tell him where she had been hiding all this time. Pinky puts on an act and claims that she doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
Undeterred, Jack grabs her hand to check out the mole on it. However, he doesn’t find it and neither is there any visible mark to show that she had had it removed. The hosts of the event, Mr. and Mrs. Wong show up and address Pinky as Shannon. After exchanging greetings, they head back inside.
Pinky chats with Mrs. Wong about her childhood. When she’s asked if she still goes horseback riding, Pinky replies in the negative and recounts an incident that had left a big scar on her body. As Jack observes, Pinky shows the scar to Mrs. Wong, saying that her mother hadn’t allowed her to ride a horse ever since then.
Mr. Wong comes for his wife and Jack takes the opportunity to approach Pinky, who indulges and taunts him. Shannon (Pinky) asks Jack if she looks like Pinky (Shannon) and Jack tells her that they’re identical. He asks if she has a twin sister and Shannon says she only has a brother.
After Jack gives her his card, a certain investor who he had ripped off before shows up to confront him. The guy introduces Jack as the son of the president of Shufon Group who does nothing but to live off his father’s money and fòöl around.The scammed investor reveals how Jack had tricked him into investing into the company. Apparently, he hadn’t seen his money again.
Pinky observes causally as Jack strives to come up with a flimsy explanation. Jack takes a glass of drink from a waiter and has the other guy also take one. He makes a toast with him as a sorry excuse of an apology and the guy smirks and pours the drink on him. Pinky (Shannon) looks on silently with interest.
