“Your husband is leaving you for a pröstitutê? You poor thing.”
Karla approaches Troy and asks him to go home since he looks so tired. Troy starts to bring up the ‘what ifs’ in their lives and Karla cuts him off. As she moves away, Rica comes over and expresses her gratitude for everything he had to give up because of her – his father and brother.
Troy says he’s already made his peace with it and that she’s what matters most to her. Rica thanks the mayor for deciding to become a father to her. Karla looks on as they hug, and so does Kyle who stands a distance away. Jigs watches the video of Ella’s statement and angrily slams his cellphone onto the floor and begins wrecking things in his room.
Raven shows up and strives to calm him down. Jigs wails over his situation and takes comfort in the fact that her dear cousin hadn’t turned her back on him too. Back at the Sicats, Rica spots Kyle so he comes over to greet the mayor and Karla. Rica asks if he wants to talk to the mayor about the article.
Kyle tells Rica that there’s no need because his mother had told him that the allegations weren’t true. However, the bitter look he gives Troy when he sings his father’s praises tells a different story. As Rica sees Kyle off, Karla asks Troy how he’s been doing and he states that he doesn’t even know if politics is what he still wants to do.
In the meantime, Kyle assures Rica that he has no need to talk to the mayor because he’s decided to stop investigating since the issue had led to his father’s destruction. Also, for his mother’s peace of mind. Rica assures Kyle that she would always be there for him.
Meanwhile, Troy recounts how he had been raised in a life of politics. He beats himself up over some things he had lost and expresses his regrets over it all. He then asks Karla if she really doesn’t have even a little regret.
Karla refrains from answering and only says that they should call it a night. When she turns to walk away, she notices someone’s shadow at the furniture shop. The next morning at the Ramones mansion, Alberto declares that he’s done with Troy.
“He’s not part of this family anymore. Once we’re finished with him, he will be on his knees. And he will lose everything he has.” Bobby couldn’t be anymore delighted. At home, Troy tries to talk to his daughter about the recent press conference at the city hall regarding Ella and Rica. Raven doesn’t want to talk about it since she doesn’t feel comfortable with it.
When she leaves, Audrey goes through her phone and makes note of a couple of people who had disappeared or ended up deãd after going up against Alberto. She worries that the same fate could befall her husband. Audrey laments over all the troubles their family has been dealt with and mentions that she’s still around because she cares.
She hopes everything she’s endured wouldn’t be in vain. Troy says he’s letting her go since she’s already sacrificed so much for the both of them, adding that it’s unfair for him to ask her to join him in the fight against his father. He apologizes for the lövê and happiness he couldn’t give her, as well as for all the pain he had caused her. And with that, Troy walks away, leaving Audrey miserable.
Bea sets up all the stuff needed for the social media outreach and Karla tells her of how proud she is of her. As they hug, Nico joins in on the moment and so does Dan. During breakfast at the Ramones mansion, Jigs goes through some comments regarding the press conference and gets worked up over the ones against him.
Raven asks him not to worry too much since the prosecutor hasn’t even decided yet. Enter Bobby who comes to talk to his son. Bobby is surprised with Raven’s presence and asks what she’s doing there. Jigs taunts him, saying that she’s there for him like always. Bobby then demands to speak to Jigs alone.
At the Sicats, Ella and Rica express their apprehension of going online, though they look forward to use social media to their advantage. On that note, Bea coaches Rica and Ella to get back on social media. Bobby has a talk with his son, urging him to follow his orders as well as that of his grandpa’s so they could be guaranteed the future.
“I’m sure that you’ll become the next mayor of Sidero,” Bobby declares.
Jigs sighs and taunts his father. “And you’ll be along for the ride. As what? A puppet master? Do you think you’ll earn grandpa’s respect by doing this? Stop being delusional.”
Bobby grabs dear son. “I made you, you ungrateful piece of trash! I can easily destroy you, so don’t be too cocky.”
Raven steals her way up the stairs and into Jigs’ room, and while Jigs continues to face off with his father, she goes through his laptop. A moment later, Jigs comes looking for his dear cousin, only to find her sitting idly on his bed.
Raven makes him believe that she’s hiding from Uncle Bobby and Jigs joins her and assures her that she’s safe now. Back at the Sicats, the girls strive to come up with a suitable hashtag for their agenda. Karla relates with Rica and Ella regarding their traumatic experiences, all the while reflecting on her very own ordeal.
When she makes note of being a survivor, Attorney Dizon goes on about how every abused woman has their own story and Bea picks up on that and suggests #my_story much to everyone’s agreement.
Meanwhile, the despicable Romeo has a talk with Alberto, desperate to get closer to Karla. Alberto offers to help him get back everything his son took from him, including Karla. Fiscal Leticia arrives at her office to review Ella’s case.
Over the phone, a friend of hers tries to convince her to junk the cases against Jigs but the fiscal makes it clear that she’ll decide solely on the evidence. Once off the phone, she goes through an envelope on her desk and is shocked at the contents.
It contains romantic photos of her very own self with a ridiculously young man. As if on cue, she receives a text message from an unknown number.
“Your lövēr’s young enough to be your own son, Fiscal Leticia. Everyone will know about your affair if you take Ella Monetcillo’s case to court.”
While Kyle continues with his search for Joseph Laurena, the contractor who had disappeared, Romeo manages to slip an envelope into the mayor’s compound, and since it has Audrey’s name on it, a maid delivers it to her.
Audrey brings out the contents and she’s appalled to see that it’s compromising photos of Karla and some man, that person being Romeo. On the back of one of the photos, are written the conclusive words that hammers the final nail in the coffin:

She asks what she meant by ‘being a survivor’ and Karla makes deliberate efforts to cover it up, claiming that she had just been talking about a show she had watched which had left an impression on her. Rica takes the explanation with apparent misgiving. Still, she bids goodbye to her mother and Karla looks on as she leaves for work.
