“You started it by accusing us of k!lling Archie. You think I’d take that sitting down? All the revelations about you, aren’t those true?”
The episode begins with Dan working at the furniture shop and reflecting on what Audrey had said to him about Karla and Troy. Man doesn’t look happy but then, has he ever? Raylin comes over with some tea and tries to make a pass at him but it doesn’t go so well.
At Balai Arkitektura, Rica finds a note Kyle had left her on her desk. The mayor has a talk with Mr. Merced about some project. Because of how he’s been publicly going against his family, Mr. Merced tells Troy that he and his group won’t be able to support him anymore.
Troy asks whether his father had put him up to it and the guy rambles some absurdity and refuses to back him up unless he reconciles with his father.Rica arrives at the Constantine to find a blue teddy Kyle had left her.
She gladly picks it up and climbs the stairs, only to discover another teddy waiting for her, much bigger than the first. She picks that up as well and makes her way to the rooftop where Kyle has set a table and is waiting with two teddies of his own.
Rica asks if he had set everything up himself and Kyle recalls the preparations he had made.
Rica asks of his intention for everything he’s set up and Kyle says he just wanted to apologize to her because she had been compelled to let her family and coworkers know about their relationship.
Rica says she’s not bothered because she’s proud to have him as her boyfriend. The lövëbirds begin smiling at each other. Bobby goes through the photos of the dinner with the Sicats and Troy’s family and he isn’t the least bit happy.
Alberto comes over to declare that their alliance is just temporary and would implode in no time. Speaking of, Audrey sees a negative trending article of the mayor online and so does Raven. Kyle hangs out with Rica somewhere. He returns her key chain and flaunts his.
“My mom told me this one’s limited edition,” Rica mentions. “I should have asked you right from the start why you also have one of these.”
“But you didn’t ask me,” Kyle remarks. “You laughed at me instead.”
Kyle and Rica reflect on the incident under discussion. Kyle names the teddy bear Baby Destiny and asks Rica where she’s going to keep it. Rica says she’ll keep it in her room. She admits that she’s never been fond of stuffed toys like that but promises that she likes it because it came from him. Mayor Troy chances upon them.
At home, Bea sees the trending article involving the mayor and she alerts her mother about it. Dan comes to see it and eyes his wife. Bea asks if the rumors are true and when Karla says Troy’s father is probably trying to ruin his reputation, Dan questions her, asking why she’s defending the mayor. Speaking of, Rica introduces Kyle to the mayor as her boyfriend.
Troy recovers from the shock of the revelation and congratulates both Rica and Kyle. Zhenny prompts him about the problem they have and she shows him the trending article. It alleges that Troy and his family had covered up a tragic incident that had contributed and lead to Philip Constantino taking his own life.
In an instant, Kyle also receives a notification about the same matter and after glancing through the article, he stares at Troy in disbelief. When Rica learns of it, she asks Troy if they had really blamed Philip for the collapse of the arts building and Troy tells her that they tried to protect him.
Still, Kyle lashes out at the mayor for not having a thorough investigation done on the case. Rica cries out for them to stop arguing and Kyle storms off. Troy assures Rica that everything in the article is nothing but lies and the handiwork of his father.
He asks if she believes him and Rica nods her head, all the while crying. Kyle reflects on an argument between his parents about the collapse of the building which had resulted in so many deaths.
Consuelo tries to convince Philip to let the matter go and move on but Philip refuses to do so until he finds out why the building had collapsed. The flashback cuts forward to Philip’s death. Presently, Rica approaches Kyle and hugs him from behind as he cries. Meanwhile, Karla asks her husband the reason for his sudden outburst earlier.
Dan gives his wife the silent treatment. Kyle takes Rica back to the rooftop and opens up to her about his childhood with his parents. He goes on about how the collapse of the building had ruined his father’s career and reputation, as well as how his mother had left him. Troy confronts his father, asking if he had to stoop so low.
“You started it by accusing us of k!lling Archie,” Alberto grumbles. “You think I’d take that sitting down?”
Troy takes objection to that. “Why call it a mere accusation if I’m speaking the truth?”
“All the revelations about you, aren’t those true?”
“Everything that happened was instructed and ordered by you.”
Kyle reflects on his father’s suiçidë and beats himself up over it and Rica assures him that it wasn’t his fault. She then urges him to give the mayor a chance to explain himself. Speaking of, Troy pays attorney Dizon a visit and tells her that “now is the time for her to speak up”.
Laura is surprised with the rush and Troy laments over the stunt his dad had pulled. Laura asks if there’s any truth to the allegations and Troy takes offense. Axel hangs out with Chino at a bar, talking about the implications the trending article could have on Rica and Kyle’s relationship.
Seated at a table, Jigs texts his buddies and asks them to join him so they could celebrate the downfall of the mayor. However, none of the guys want to hang out with him anymore because of what had happened to Archie.
Jigs is on edge and when he calls his dear cousin and Raven doesn’t answer, he tries to invite some random people to join him but they come up with excuses and scram. Rica tells her mother of how she had defended the mayor from the person she lōvês because she believes that he had been telling the truth. She asks if it’s okay for her to believe the mayor.
Karla goes on about how Troy has always had the inclination to do the right thing, adding that she also believes in him. She asks of what Kyle had to say and Rica says he had agreed to talk to the mayor.
Meanwhile, Kyle reflects on his encounters with the mayor, from when Raven had gone missing to tonight’s incident regarding the trending article which involves his deceased father.
