“He might grow suspicious of me again if I keep asking for favors. I’m gonna tell Homer to talk to the judge. That might help convince him. Thrêaten him. I would prefer that.”
Cardo approaches Javier and his gãñg of hoodlums with the sole purpose of talking to them. He apologizes to Javier for beating him up the other time. Javier acts all high and mighty and since he’s not man enough, he unleashes his goons on our favorite hero.
Cardo effortlessly wards off their ãttaçks and kicks their asses. Alyana who might have flushed her senses down the tøilet cries out to her husband and tells her to stop fighting the crooks so Cardo listens and allows himself to be beaten up badly.
Javier joins in on the fun after his men have softened up our favorite hero. He beats him up some more and wrecks the market in the process. Having had their fill, the crooks make mockery of Cardo before leaving.
The people then help our favorite hero up and carry him all the way back to the hut where he’s attended to. There’s nothing more irritating now other than the sight of Alyana crying. At the Palace, President Hidalgo decides not to involve General Borja in the manhunt for the Vendetta.
General Borja asks of the progress of the surveillance of his men and Billy informs him that their asset has already infiltrated the tenement to gather some information. Miss Becky and the girls relay the worries of the people to Romulo and his comrades and the commander assures them that they would be more careful from now on.
The Dalisay family discuss how Councilor Gina has been trying to win over the new mayor. Yolly brings up how the mayor had offered them a stall at the canteen in the city hall. Elmo mentions that they can earn a lot over there since the city hall is always crowded.
However, Grandma Flora points out that they would need to put up a huge amount of capital for that. In Santo Nino, Doray and Elizabeth berate Javier’s group as Alyana nurses her husband’s injuries. Caloy hangs out with his grandpa and the other guys outside and they talk about the very same matter.
“Cardo could have taken them singlehandedly,” Caloy notes. “The reason Cardo didn’t fight back is because of Alyana. Cause he knew if he fought Javier’s gãñg, Alyana would get upset with him again.”
The members of the Vendetta deliberate on the concerns of the neighbors. Still, they plan to carry out their plan of going out to stop the vice president and Hipolito. They consider leaving the hideout for the safety of the people living in the neighborhood.
Andi and the girls worry about the possibility of someone snitching on the Vendetta out of fear.Lucas informs Brandon of Oscar’s refusal to have him transferred to another facility. However, he assures his son that things will go in their favor in his next hearing.
Brandon worries about what they would do if he’s found guilty. Oscar has a talk with his wife about Lucas’ requested which he had turned down. Marissa asks if he believes in Brandon’s innocence and Oscar says they should just leave it to the court to decide whether or not he’s guilty.
Alyana blabbers and beats herself up for what had happened to her husband and Doray and Elizabeth sing the praises of our favorite hero. The CIDG’s asset reports back to General Borja and his men on his findings.
Delfin charges the guy to find out the information Andi and the girls have on Cardo and the Vendetta. After leaving camp Crame, the asset calls someone to tell him of everything he’s learnt. That someone happens to be General Perez.
Councilor Gina has gotten her permit to start her food business at the canteen and she looks forward to using the opportunity to win over the mayor. Margie tells her sister of her intention to help Grandma Flora acquire a stall space in the canteen at the city hall.
Shelly is excited and eager to be the manager but Margie says she would be assigned as the server and the dishwasher much to her sister’s dismay. Cardo finally wakes up and when Alyana frets over him, he assures her that he’s okay. Over breakfast, he suggests that they go out to meet the townsfolk and make friends with them.
JP arrives back home and his parents receive him with such joy. The family discuss the president’s orders against Cardo and the Vendetta. Meanwhile, Lucas tells Hipolito of how the president had turned down his request.
“He might grow suspicious of me again if I keep asking for favors,” Lucas states.
“There are other means for us to convince the presiding judge,” Hipolito mentions.
“Bribing him? No way. He might blab it to the media.”
“I’m gonna tell Homer to talk to the judge. That might help convince him.”
“Threaten him,” Lucas orders. “I would prefer that.”
Homer and his group discuss about Lucas and Hipolito and they gloat over how the two keep stãbbing each other in the back. Homer says they should let them k!ll each other and whoever survives is the one they would side with.
JP stares at a photo frame of his sister and hopes that she’s safe and would eventually return home so their family could be whole again. Margie brings vice mayor Adonis a meal she had ordered from Flora’s eatery and urges him to dig in since he would be sworn in today as the mayor.
Adonis commends Flora’s cooking and Margie brings up her plans to partner with her. She reveals her relation to Cardo and when Adonis takes it with surprise as expected, Margie assures him that Flora and her family are good people.
Councilor Gina shows up at the eatery with her minions to taunt Flora’s family with her supposed closeness with the mayor, and Yolly and Elmo run her off. A moment later at the city hall, Gina tells the mayor of her plans to do charity work with part of the money she would earn from her food business.
She makes deliberate attempts to impress the mayor much to Margie’s displeasure. The Dalisays worry that Councilor Gina could have their eatery demolished again and Grandma Flora declares that they won’t let her have her way this time around.
She says they should think about positive things so good fortune would come. As if on cue, a woman comes to make a huge order and Flora gladly agrees to give her a free bowl of soup. She personally sees off the customer, only to spot Psyçhö Marco lurking and staring at her from a distance.
Cardo and Alyana join their friends at the local store, only for the storeowner to ask our favorite hero if his wife is now better. Alyana is confused so she asks what she means by that and the woman reveals how Cardo and his friends had told her that she was sick in the head.
Alyana stares at her husband in disbelief. Meanwhile, Marco gets into his car and receives a phone call from his mother. Catherine asks what he’s been up to and Marco gives her a cheeky answer.
“This is my own fight. Stop calling and tell my father that I don’t need his help.”
“Why?” Catherine asks.
“I’m gonna do what needs to be done my own way,” so says psyçhö Marco.
“What are you gonna do?”
Psyçhö Marco hangs up without another word.
