“They’re called facts, not opinions. Jigs is a criminal. I will deliver you justice. Jigs will go to jail, Rica. I will make sure of that. Don’t give up just yet. You have to trust me. Things will work out in our favor.”
Karla is staring outside when Rica shows up and calls out to her, startling her in the process. Dan joins them and so does Nico. Bea takes her sweet time to make her appearance in her elegant dress much to her brother’s amusement. Karla, Rica and Dan are simply amazed.
In no time, the Sicats arrive at the mayor’s house and Troy welcomes them. Things get real awkward when Audrey makes a pathetic attempt to hug Rica and Karla. Troy’s hug with Rica is the only thing that’s graceful to see. Bea gushes with excitement as she’s eager to meet Raven.
As Raven takes her sweet time to get ready in her room, she receives a text message from her cousin, pleading with her to not join the dinner. The Sicats and the Ramones couple take their place at the dining table and Zhenny begins taking photos.
Dan asks if that’s necessary and Troy says that the people need to see that they’re all on the same side. Audrey seconds her husband. Karla joins the conversation and makes mention of how sad the use of social media can be. Audrey rambles on about social media and its importance.
Bea agrees with her and also launches into a talk about how social media is a big part of their generation. Audrey takes the chance to taunt Karla and subtly calls her unintelligent. Cue in Raven to join them at the table. Bea excitedly greets her and Raven responds.
Raven sets her eyes on Rica and reflects on the last unfriendly encounters they had had. She exchanges greetings with Rica. After both families dine together for a while, Bea has her brother take some photos of the moment.
Troy offers to help Nico get an admission into an arts and technology school and egoistic Dan rejects his offer. Troy apologizes and assures the Sicats that they’re always ready to help them. He notices Karla’s uneasiness and he staresat her for a while.
Dan and Audrey notice this. When Troy tries to say something to Karla, Dan cuts him off and asks about Archie’s funeral. Raven is surprised to learn that Rica knows Ella.
When she questions her about it, Rica mentions that Ella was the reason why Archie had posted her video online – because he wanted to get back at Jigs. She then reveals how Jigs had also violated Cassandra like he had done to her and Ella. Audrey gets upset when Rica tries to convince Raven that she’s telling the truth.
“If you have any opinions about Jigs,” Audrey begins. “It’s best to keep them to yourselves.”
“Can you please stop?” Troy urges.
Karla butts in. “Opinions? Those are not opinions. Jigs is a çriminål. He $ëxuålly assaulted Rica and other innocent women. They’re called facts, they’re not opinions.”
Audrey glares. As Troy tries to calm everyone, he receives a phone call from Laura and excuses himself to take it. Karla also leaves the table, claiming that she’s going to use the bathroom.
Troy talks on the phone with attorney Dizon about a secret witness. Karla comes over to inform him about how she’s been seeing Romeo around. Surprised, Troy promises to protect her at all cost. Audrey witnesses the scene and she isn’t the least bit happy.
She soon approaches Dan and tells him of her suspicions. Dan says his wife would never betray him and get back together with the mayor and Audrey taunts him, saying that he’s lying to himself because he’s wearing that same misërãble look she always has.
With dinner over, Troy has a hearty conversation with Rica and thanks her for her support. He promises to unite their families and not waste the opportunity she had given him.
“I’m not going to waste this opportunity, Rica,” Troy declares. “To be part of your life. I will deliver you justice. Jigs will go to jail, Rica. I will make sure of that.”
“I think it’s about time I accept defeat for this case,” Rica merely says.
“Don’t give up just yet. You have to trust me. Things will work out in our favor.”
Rica asks the mayor what he means by that and stating that he’s never given up on her, Troy has Rica promise to not give up on him. The next morning in school, Bea uses a clever trick to reconcile with Pogs.
She admits that his opinion actually matters to her, adding that she had been so sad because she thought he would never talk to her again. Pogs is all smiles. At Balai Arkitektura, Kyle takes Rica by surprise and holds her hand as she heads to the office.
Kyle suggests that they tell their coworkers about their relationship but Rica is reluctant to because she doesn’t want Axel to feel worse than he already does. Kyle relates with her since Axel is also important to him and on that note, he agrees to keep their relationship secret for now.
While Rica and Kyle get lost staring into each other’s eyes, Mrs. Gracia and Rose approach. When Rica spots them, she pushes Kyle away. Kyle practically lands on his a$$ and ironic enough, Rica helps him up much to Mrs. Gracia’s amazement. Gracia asks Rica if she had just pushed the boss and Kyle claims that he had just lost his balance.
Kyle tries to put his hand around Rica’s shoulder but stops himself at the last minute. However, his intention doesn’t go unnoticed by Mrs. Gracia and Rose. Back in school, Brax joins Bea and Pogs and urges them to admit their feelings for each other.
“I..I don’t like him,” Bea stammers.
“Then why are you blushing?” Brax merely asks.
Some fans of Raven come over to befriend Bea since they had seen her on Raven’s Instagram post. Bea ditches the guys and happily chats with the girls. At home, Karla ends up breaking a plate she had been washing when the sound of a car horn from outside startles her.
Dan comes to check up on her. He asks what the matter is since she’s been off for some days now. Karla says she’s just tired. Back in BA, Mrs. Gracia questions Kyle about why Rica had pushed him. Axel comes upon the scene.
At the city hall, Troy deploys Jay his right-hand man to track down Romeo Dimayuga as soon as possible since he poses a threat to Karla and Rica. Meanwhile, Axel makes the shocking revelation of Rica and Kyle being a couple.
Rose and the others excitedly congratulate Rica. Axel also congratulates Kyle and offers his hand to Rica, wishing her the best. Rica just stares at the poor hand warily.
Axel sighs and begins pulling away, only for Rica to reach out her hand to shake him, surprising everyone. Axel exchanges smiles with Rica before walking away. Kyle has a talk with Chino about his situation with Axel. He admits that they probably won’t be okay for a while.
Meanwhile, Rica approaches Axel and has that serious talk with him about their situation. Axel wishes her the best with Kyle and Rica gets all emotional, telling him that he really is a good person. When Axel turns to leave, Rica asks if they’re ever going to be okay.
“Why is that important?” Axel asks.
“Because you’re my friend,” Rica sobs. “Our friendship is really important to me. Isn’t it important to you?”
“Of course it is. But…I lövê you, and I can’t change the way I feel about it,” Axel wails. “I need time. I lövê you, Rica Sicat, Miss Achiever. And it’s going to be hell trying to get over you. I just hope one day, when I look at you again, I won’t see you the same way.”
As Axel turns again to leave, Rica cries and actually goes to hug him, crying all the more. Once they break off the embrace, Axel exchanges a smile with Rica before carrying on. Rica looks on as she continues to cry.
