“You can’t make me leave. Because I have a right to this company. Conrad Suarez is selfish and if you don’t rat him out now, he’ll surely get away. You should make up your mind. Your time is running out!”
Allison is crying by herself when Rambo chances upon her and asks what the matter is. He offers to beat up the person who made her cry, only to learn that it was actually her father. Rambo makes Allison smile with his antics and since she doesn’t want to go home yet, he suggests that they go and hang out at his place.
A moment later, Rambo brings Allison home and introduces her to his mother as his girlfriend. Digna serves Allison some food and makes her open up about what has been troubling her – her father’s affair that had dated back to when her mother was still alive.
Digna counsels her not to blame herself for her father’s mistake. She then urges Allison to try her best to let go of the anger since it would only affect her negatively in the end. Allison asks how she could ever do that and Digna tells her to just focus on herself and surround herself with people who lövê and care for her.
Rambo jokingly uses himself as an example. Rambo escorts Allison and she thanks him for everything. Meanwhile, Lena gladly tells Ramona that she had gotten Lucas to agree to what they wanted – a position in Royal Wellness in exchange for his freedom.
She then brings up how the police are searching for Fernando Castro because he’s the key to putting Conrad behind bars. Ramona wishes Lucas wouldn’t be released and Lena assures her that it’s temporary. She says once they take over Royal Wellness, they would send Luca back to jail for the crimes he did against them.
Jordan calls his father on phone and asks him to check if a certain number has any records in the police files and whether it has ever been used in illegal transactions. He reveals that it’s the number of Lucas’ other phone.
While the board of Royal Wellness worry about how they would fix the issue with Lucas’ arrest, Lena interrupts the meeting as Adrian tries to disclose an idea he has. Vanessa tries to run her off and Lena asks her to show some respect to the future president of the company.
Vanessa scoffs. “Were you able to sleep well, ambitious witch?” She then asks for security to be called.
“You can’t make me leave,” Lena declares. “Because I have a right to this company.”
“Says who, Lena? Who gave you the…”
Lucas makes his shocking appearance. “I did. From now on, I am appointing Lena as my new executive vice president.”
Vanessa hasn’t fully recovered from the shock yet. She feigns concern for her husband and tries to go and congratulate him on his release but Lucas snubs her and Lena laughs. Lucas announces that while he deals with his issues, Lena would temporarily take over.
Adrian argues that the board has to agree on the matter so Lucas puts it to a vote and the board reluctantly side with him. Meanwhile, Jordan hands Ramona some other files he had found in Lucas’ vault which contains information he’s been using to blackmail some people.
Fernando, together with his men, törtùre Brian and tries to make him confess the identity of the person who had ordered him to have him (Fernando) k!lled. Brian endures the torment for a while but eventually admits that it was Commissioner Conrad.
Fernando fumes and curses. Back at M&R, Kiko informs Ramona about the lead they’ve gotten regarding the múrdęr attempt on Lucas. Turns out that Fernando and his men are involved and Ramona is shocked at the discovery.
She hopes that they find Fernando since he’s the key to putting Vanessa and Conrad behind bars. Vanessa showed her concern for Lucas regarding what happened but Lucas wasn’t buying it. She told him how much she lōvês him and explained what happened between her and Conrad as nothing. She talked about how she’s endured his mistreatment.
Seeing her act the victim, Lucas reminded her of clothing her and saving her from the slums she came from. He made her what she is.
Vanessa explained her point of view regarding her affair with Conrad and Lucas asked why she didn’t tell him. She said she got scared for Adrian thinking he’ll hurt him like he hurt her.
She wanted things to be the way it was between them like before but Lucas instead asked her to pack her things and leave his house. She agrees to leave and hoped he’ll one day forgive her but Lucas made it clear he’ll never forgive her and vows to make both her and Conrad pay for what they did. After leaving Lucas’s office, Vanessa bumps into Lena who doesn’t hesitate taunting her.
Ramona tried convincing the doctor to testify against Lucas regarding her case but the woman is still scared since Lucas has managed to get out of prison, it means he can get away with everything. Ramona said if they work together then that won’t happen and their former colleagues are ready to testify but the doctor thinks it’s impossible.
Ramona assured her Lucas won’t be able to do anything to her and told her she can stop hiding. While leaving, Ramona saw one of Fernando’s men and followed him. She saw where they’re hiding along with Fernando and called Kiko and reported what she discovered to him.
Adrian came to Lucas and Lucas said if he’s here to question him like his mother then he better leave. Adrian expressed his disapproval in appointing Lena as the VP since he was the one who helped him and Lucas said he’s admitting he helped him for only his personal gain but Adrian said that’s not it.
Lucas told Adrian it was Lena who testified in his favor since she was there when he åttaçked Conrad and asked Adrian to be thankful he hasn’t taken his position as the COO from him.
He said if Adrian wants to be on his good side, then he should do what he tells him. Lena thanked Jordan for getting that file for them since they know it’s not easy to spy on Lucas but Jordan told her it’s nothing since everyone does everything for the people they lövê.
Jordan wanted to know when she’s gonna think about her happiness since her mission is close to being complete. Lena asked if he can wait for her and he asked whether she does see a future together with him. She smiled and nodded her head. He told her that’s enough for him.
Left with no other choice, Vanessa starts packing her things despite not wanting to leave the mansion. She doesn’t understand why Lucas chose Lena over them and Adrian said he doesn’t understand either. Vanessa asked him to keep an eye on Lena since they don’t know what her ultimate plan is.
Lena wanted to know why Lucas gave her a position in Royal Wellness despite being his enemy and Lucas said she may be his enemy but she fights fairly. He’s amazed that she’s the only one who’s true to him despite being his enemy.
It might cause a trouble or destroy his life she still tells him the truth regardless but those he considers his family are the ones who betrayed him. He admits she’s a worthy competitor.
Miguel expressed his dissatisfaction on Lena having less time for him and wanted to know what the problem is. She said it’s nothing and is only tired and Miguel suggests she live in with him so he can take care of her. Lena wasn’t ready to give into his request until he settles his divorce with Rachel.
Lena visited Fernando at the police station and wants him to confess to his crimes but Fernando doesn’t want to and asked her to leave him alone. Lena told him he doesn’t need to rot in jail by himself. The mastermind should be behind bars too and asked him if he wants to suffer the consequences alone.
She asked him who the mastermind is but he made it clear she won’t get anything from him. He threatened to get back at them once he gets out of jail. She tried to instigate Conrad against him but Fernando got angry and asked her to get lost.
