“I had one drink. One drink. Why do I feel like I drank the whole bar? Was Raven Ramones involved? I won’t touch another drink ever again. I kept warning him not to fall in lövê – it will mess you up.”
Audrey makes preparation for the dinner date with the Sicats and Raven expresses her dislike over it since Archie had just diëd. Audrey grumbles, saying that she never wanted the dinner in the first place. Raven receives a phone call from her cousin and she ignores him.
At the Sicats, Nico and Bea interrogate Kyle over his relationship with their sister. Dan glowers as he stares at Kyle, looking ready to beat him up. Dan makes it clear to his wife that he’s not in favor of Kyle being in a relationship with his daughter and Karla tries to convince him that he’s a good person and cares about Rica a lot.
Dan asks if it’s the right time for their daughter to enter into a relationship and Karla says it’s the perfect time because of everything she’s been going through. She says their daughter needs some light in her life for change.Karla says Kyle reminds her of him (Dan) who’s lōvêd and protected her all these years.
Still, Dan states that he’ll be keeping an eye on Kyle and he would deal with him if he makes even one wrong move. Bea and Nico continue to interrogate the couple. Dan comes over with his wife, saying that Kyle needs to be coming over frequently because he wants to closely monitor the people dating his kids.
“That’s right. So we can keep a close eye on them,” Nico mentions. “Right, dad?”
“That includes you,” Dan responds. “You can only start dating once you’re thirty.”
Nico makes a face. Kyle assures Dan of his lövê for his daughter and promises to always support her and not add to her problems. Amazed with his sweetness, Bea asks Kyle if he has a younger brother. Dan scolds her and tells her that she can only start dating when she’s forty years old.
Bea sulks and her dad reminds her that she already has Pogs and Nico begins teasing her.Raven meets up with Jigs at a park to talk about his involvement in Archie’s dëāth. Jigs assures her that he hadn’t k!lled anyone. He states that he’s never hurt her and he never will.
Raven says maybe it’s because she’s never said no to him and had always supported him. After admitting that he’s like the brother she never had, Raven turns to leave and Jigs holds her back and pleads with her not to leave him.
Kyle brings Rica to his father’s grave and reflects on how Mr. Constantino had told him that his life would become brighter and much happier once he meets the right person. Kyle makes a joke out of it and Philip tells him to come visit him once he meets the right girl so he can tell him that he was right.
Presently, Kyle admits that his father had been right. A series of flashbacks of the lovebirds play out and Rica promises Mr. Constantino that she would lövê his son just as much as he had lōvêd him.
While Axel orders a glass of whiskey at a bar, Kyle and Rica snack together and hang out somewhere. They talk about themselves and their likes and come to know that coffee is the only thing they have in common.
“So what?” Rica teases. “If we don’t have anything in common, you’ll dump me?”
“If you don’t like the color pink, then it’s over,” Kyle teases back.
Rica laughs. “Good thing I’m wearing a pink blouse.”
Raven arrives at the bar just as Axel is making a scene, calling his heart “stüpid” for betraying him by falling in lövê. Raven joins him at the table and helps him when he stumbles from the drunkenness. She’s amazed when she learns that Axel had only had one glass but is already wasted.
Axel pours out his heart to her about his situation with Rica and Kyle and Raven sympathizes with him.Raven brings Axel home and Kyle is amazed when he finds out that his best friend had gotten himself drunk when he’s never had a drink in his life.
With Raven’s assistance, he carries Axel inside. Kyle thanks her for her help and Raven asks him to take care of his friend. Meanwhile, Rica comes out of the house to find Kyle waiting for her. They talk for a while about the case and the dinner at the mayor’s.
Kyle tells Rica that he’s very happy to be with her but worries about what would become of him and Axel. Rica relates with him and as they stare into each other’s eyes for a moment, Rica is horrified when Kyle metamorphoses into Jigs who harasses her and tells her that she can never be happy.
Rica startles awake in her bed, waking up her sister in the process. While sweeping outside the house the next morning, Karla is distressed when she spots Romeo observing her from a distance.
Dan’s arrival distracts her for a moment and when she looks again, the rotten man has disappeared. Dan asks if there’s something wrong and Karla says she’s okay. In the meantime, Axel wakes up and Kyle comes to check up on him.
“How’s your head?”
Axel sighs. “I had one drink. One drink. Why do I feel like I drank the whole bar?”
“Do you know how you got home?” Kyle asks.
“Was Raven Ramones involved?”
“Afraid so. So is this gonna be your new hobby?”
Axel gives his buddy a look. “Do you see me right now? I won’t touch another drink ever again.”
The guys laugh it off. Audrey struggles to find a suitable dress for the dinner date with the Sicats. She receives a phone call from Bobby who makes it a point to rile up her suspicious mind about her husband’s real intention for the dinner with the Sicats. Back at Kyle’s house, the guys talk and laugh over how Chino had gotten himself so drunk after he had been turned down by a girl he liked.
“We already warned him. And it was awkward because the girl liked someone else.”
“But he didn’t listen,” Axel says as he laughs along. “He never does. He was so stubborn. I kept warning him not to fall in lövê – it will mess you up.”
The atmosphere suddenly changes and Axel informs Kyle that he’s already got his own place now. He says he would be moving out because it would be awkward to stay at his house since he and Rica are together.
Kyle apologizes for how things had turned out. Nico is upset with the idea of his family having dinner with the mayor and his family and Dan strives to make him see reason. Dan says they need to accept that the mayor is going to be a part of their lives since he’s Rica’s biological father.
He goes on about how relationships are like packaged deals with good and bad times. He manages to talk Nico into backing him up. Kyle discovers that Axel has already packed up his things and left the house. Meanwhile, Karla spots the despicable Romeo lurking outside her house.
