“That’s just how the world works. It may take something from us, but it also gives back. I’m so happy, Rica. I’m very happy that you found each other. He lōvês you so much.”
Rica thanks Kyle for always being there for her even when he had thought that she was with Axel. Kyle says he would have still lōvêd her even if she had chosen Axel. Rica worries about how her situation might affect their relationship and Kyle suggests that they take things one day at a time and not put a label on it for now.
Meanwhile, Raven paces in her room, reflecting on Archie’s accusations against her cousin as well as the times her dear cousin had horrified her with his reaction. Jigs is tormented by Archie’s words of condemnation. A phone call comes in from Raven who asks him whether he had k!lled Archie.
Jigs reflects on the incidents following the merciless beating he and his lapdogs had given Jigs. Some henchmen of Alberto show up to take care of things.Despite Archie’s pleas to not leave him with the men, Jigs walks out on him with his lackeys.
Outside, as they wonder what the men are going to do with Archie, a günshøt rings out as Jigs is going back to check. Presently, Jigs tells her cousin that he hadn’t pulled the trigger, right before he hangs up. Raven is conflicted and deeply sorrowed.
Back at the rooftop, Rica makes known the reasons behind her fears of rebuilding her life before. She worries about how Kyle could get dragged into her mess. Kyle points out that people in lövê get involved and stand by their partners even in difficult circumstances.
The lövëbirds then have a sweet moment under the lights. Dan worries about his family’s safety because of what had happened to Archie. He considers giving up the case but Karla makes it a point to make him see why they have to keep fighting.
The next morning, Dan suddenly shows up outside the mayor’s house. He confronts Troy and demands that he prove his supposed lövê for Rica. A moment later at the city hall, the mayor gives a statement to some reporters about Archie.
“Before his dëāth…Archie Soliman had been working with me and Rica’s family,” Troy reveals. “Archie provided us with concrete evidence that is enough to prove that Jigs and his friends were in fact taking videos and photos of ñakèd women which they shared amongst themselves in a group chat. I am confident that because Archie tried to help us, he was k!lled.”
“Are you saying that it is your family who is behind the dëāth of Archie Soliman?” asks a random reporter.
Troy reaffirms how he and Rica’s camp had been working together on the case with Archie’s assistance. “…to build a case against Jigs Ramones and his friends. And while doing so, Archie was found deãd with a günshøt wound to his chest.”
The Sicats watch the mayor’s press conference and Dan recalls how he had convinced Troy to take that action. It is revealed that Dan had agreed to bring his family over for dinner with Troy’s family in order to solidify the statement and reunite them.
Troy had also made it clear that he wanted to become a part of Rica’s life. Presently, Dan hopes that the situation would prevent the Ramoneses from coming after his family.
Axel gives Kyle the silent treatment at home and when Kyle asks that they talk, Axel says he knows he and Rica are together and he doesn’t know why he had thought he could change the fact that Rica was in lövê with him.
Kyle asks if they’re going to be okay and Axel replies with absolute silence. Bobby is worked up over the level his father had stooped to deal with Archie as well as the statement Troy had released, incriminating them of Archie’s dëāth. Alberto is unfazed since Troy has no evidence to prove his accusations.
In the meantime, Axel laments over how he had failed miserably to forget his feelings for Rica even when he knew that he stood no chance to compete with what she and Kyle have. He then says he doesn’t think that they’re going to be okay.
At the Sicats, Karla and Dan inform their kids of the dinner date with Troy and his family for their own protection.Bea shows her family the video of the live press conference of Jigs.
As shæmelëss as ever, the rotten councilor feigns concern for Archie’s dëāth and strives to assure the public that he and his family had no hand in Archie’s dëāth like the mayor had claimed. Alberto joins in on the fun and puts on a quite pathetic act.
Meanwhile, Toy worries about the possibility of the other women chickening out and being too afraid to have courage to file a case against Jigs. Alberto reads a news article of the late Philip Constantino. Enter the despiçable Romeo Dimayuga and both men are left staring at each other.
Meanwhile, Rica worries about Ella after she fails to reach her on phone. She laments over how she feels guilty of having someone when Ella had lost her lōvêd one. Karla is very confused, but even more surprised does she get when Kyle suddenly shows up out of nowhere. Upon noticing their facial expressions, Rica asks if they know each other.
“So you’re Rica’s mom?” Kyle asks.
Karla merely smiles. Rica asks what the deal is and Karla recounts how she had met Kyle on two occasions, as well as how he had helped her out both times.
Rica painstakingly introduces Kyle as her boss at BA and Karla asks if that is the whole truth. She recalls the last conversation she had had with Kyle regarding the woman he loved, as well as a particular one with her eldest daughter. Karla takes turns glancing at her daughter and her boss.
“You were talking about my daughter,” Karla mentions. “Am I right?”
“Yes, ma’am,” Kyle confirms.
Karla laughs and drums her hands on the table excitedly. Rica looks on confused all the more. After glancing at Kyle again, Karla turns to her daughter. “That’s just how the world works. As Rica looks on even more confused than ever, Karla brigs up how she had given them each the limited edition key chain. Rica asks if the seller had really been telling the truth and when Kyle passes a sweet comment about the key chains, Karla squeals with delight. Rica then reveals that she and Kyle are already a couple.
Karla is surprised but delighted for her daughter. Before giving them some space, she asks them to come inside the house later. Kyle apologizes to Rica for getting caught off-guard and brings up how she had said they’re a couple when she had said before that she didn’t want any labels.
Rica says its fine with her because she doesn’t want to hide their relationship from her family. The episode concludes as the lövëbirds stare and smile at each other lovingly.
