“You’re one of the reasons I was able to find peace in the middle of all this mess. I’m still alive and I can still lövê. And I’m in lövê with you, Kyle. I won’t deny it anymore. I lövê you, Kyle. I lövê you so much.”
Bea runs into Pogs in school and apologizes for the things she had said. She laments over how she had only said those things out of anger. Pogs says he’s not the one she should be saying sorry to. And with that, he walks out on Bea, leaving her misërãble.
At Balai Arkitektura, Rica turns down the offer of her coworkers to join them for lunch since she still has something to finish. She reflects on that peculiar conversation she had had with Kyle earlier and begins to wonder what he had meant.
Rica receives a phone call from an unknown number which turns out to be Ella. Ella reveals how she had gotten her number and hopes that Rica doesn’t hate her because she’s Archie’s girlfriend. Rica says she could never.
Speaking of, Archie is hustled into an abandoned building by Jigs and his lackeys. Jigs confronts him for betraying him and a war of words ensue, and Archie unwisely gloats over how he had joined the group chat to gather evidence against them for what they had done to Ella.
Jigs makes mockery of Ella so Archie responds with a punch before his lackeys restrain him. Meanwhile, Ella recounts how and why she had taken Archie back after he had handed over the evidence to her camp.
Rica assures her that she doesn’t hate her for that because she deserves to be truly happy after everything she had gone through. Ella thanks her, saying that they could have been friends if only things had been different. Back inside the deserted building, Archie slanders the Ramones family and their criminal ways.
“You think you can get away with everything? You act like you’re some kind of god. But just like your wiçked father and the rest of your stüpïd family, you’re noting but trãsh! You’re a stiñking trãsh, Jigs!!!”
Jigs angrily begins beating up Archie while his lapdogs hold him in place. Ella makes Rica understand how she wants to help Archie change despite the horrible things he’s done. Rica asks if she’s not afraid of trusting other people again. Ella admits that she had felt so broken and damaged after everything that had happened to her. Rica relates with her but fears that admitting the truth means Jigs has won.
After taking another round of beating, Archie asks to go home and when the guys begin making mockery of him, he states that nobody would ever lövê them because all they’re capable of is to violate and take advantage of women. Upset, Jigs and his buddies begin kicking him mercilessly. Ella recounts how Archie had helped her deal with her insecurities and trauma.
“He made me feel that I could still be lōvêd, and that I could still lövê. So whatever it is you’re feeling, it’s not real.”
“How can I lövê someone else if I have a lot of baggage to deal with?” Rica wails. “Jigs, the case, and the trauma of what happened to me. Is this really the right time for all that?”
Ella sighs. “Do you really think there’s a right time, a perfect situation for you to fall in lövê ? If it comes right in the midst of a problem or chaos, wouldn’t that be better? Because it means you don’t have to be alone in this world. When you feel like giving up, someone will hold your hand. You simply know that someone is out there for you. Someone who lōvês you even if you’re broken or empty.”
Jigs unloads on Archie and continues beating him up some more for trying to ruin him. Bloodied and helpless, Archie struggles to retrieve the engagement ring he had dropped while the guys make mockery of him. Anyway, Ella charges Rica not to let what happened take away her chance to live her life and lövê so Jigs and everyone who hurt them would see that they didn’t completely succeed in breaking them.
“We shouldn’t be afraid to lövê because we don’t know what tomorrow might bring us,” Ella urges.
Rica catches Kyle on his way out of the office and asks to talk to him. Kyle says there’s a problem he needs to settle immediately. This time, he makes it perfectly clear that he’s happy for her and Axel. Rica cries as he hurries away. Ella is getting worried about Archie since she’s not heard anything from him for a while now.
Archie’s body is dumped somewhere by some crooks. Jigs arrives home in a bløōdy mess and hurries to the washroom to get cleaned up. Attorney Dizon refuses to support mayor Troy’s decision to use blackmail to win the case since it goes against her principles.
Rica ponders over her encounter with Kyle earlier. She tries sending a text message to ask Axel what he had told Kyle but decides against it eventually. In school, Bea apologizes to Brax for the things she had said to him yesterday. Brax also apologizes for leading her on.
Kyle hangs out on the rooftop of the Constantine. He talks over the phone with his mother about his misguided knowledge of Rica and Axel being together. Madam CC urges him to take a breather and join her for a few days. As fate will have it, he notices some commotion way down below.
Turns out Archie’s body has been discovered by some citizens and the police. As some people take videos, the police try to secure the crime scene. Troy returns home and he’s met with surprise when Audrey tells him that she’s finally agreeing to the dinner plan with the Sicats.
Raven stands nearby and receives a notification that seems to horrify her. Attorney Dizon also receives same as the video of Archie’s deãd body goes viral. In no time, Rica also learns of the shocking news and she calls Ella and painstakingly informs her.
“He cannot be deãd,” Ella wails. “We’re supposed to leave tomorrow. We had plans to start over.”
“I’m sorry,” Rica laments.
Troy is appalled at Archie’s death. He reveals to his family how Archie had been helping them with Rica’s case and insinuates that his father and Bobby could be behind it. Audrey then urges her husband to rethink his decision of going against them. The Sicats deliberate on Archie’s dëāth as well as how he had helped them with the evidence. Dan fears that with his dëāth, the other victims might get scared and back out.
Rica breaks away from her family as she seems to be having a panic ãttaçk. She recalls her conversation with Ella earlier and receives a text message from Miss May telling her about how Kyle would be gone for a few days to attend a meeting. Recalling Ella’s words and her last encounter with Kyle, Rica runs out of the house and right to the Constantine. On the rooftop, she fails to find Kyle there so she turns to leave in disappointment.
“Rica?”
Rica turns to see Kyle standing a few steps away. He approaches her and asks what she’s doing there and whether she’s okay. Rica says it’s so easy to get overwhelmed by everything because it’s so messed up. She admits that she might have drowned in misery long ago if not for him and her family. Kyle looks on silently and evidently confused.
“You’re one of the reasons I was able to find peace in the middle of all this mess,” Rica mentions. “Because of you, I slowly learned to stand on my feet. I never thought I could still feel this way, that’s why I got scared. I’m still alive and I can still lövê. And I’m in lövê with you, Kyle.”
Kyle is speechless and for good reason. “I thought…I thought you were with Axel.”
“I never felt that way about him,” Rica affirms. “It’s just been you. Ever since that day you saved me, you’ve always been the one who keeps pulling me back whenever I feel like giving up. You’re the only one in here (her heart) and I won’t deny it anymore. I no longer want to be scared. I lövê you, Kyle. I lövê you so much.”
“I lövê you too, Rica,” Kyle says with such emotion. “I love you. I never thought I’d hear you say those words.”
Rica smiles and Kyle hugs her.
