“You deserve to be happy. And I’m happy that you’re happy. You know that I’ll always be here for you if you need someone to talk to. As long as it’s okay with him.”
Kyle is having coffee at home when Axel arrives and greets him happily before heading into his room. Once there, Axel drops his cheerful act and recalls his conversation with Rica earlier when she had turned him down and made it clear that she only sees him as a close friend.
Axel deduces that Rica is in lövê with Kyle and that’s why she’s been avoiding him.Rica doesn’t really deny it as she only states that she wouldn’t be choosing either of them.
Axel relents when Rica urges him to quit insisting that she’s in favor of Kyle. He trivializes the serious talk they had just had as well as the rejection and assures Rica that they’re okay. Rica asks if it’s that simple and Axel claims so.
Presently, Axel angrily dumps his bag on the bed and sinks to the floor in tears. At the Sicats, Nico teases Bea with Pogs’ absence and how she seems to be missing him. Bea asks Rica if she would be invited to lavish events like Raven since the mayor had already introduced her as his daughter.
When Rica reveals that she would be spending time regularly with the mayor, Nico gets upset and starts ranting, even as Dan points out that they can’t change the fact that mayor Troy is Rica’s biological father.
Karla calms Nico when he continues acting out. Archie and Ella are eager to leave Sidero and begin their life together elsewhere. Archie heads to the clinic to pick up some stuff for Ella.
Meanwhile, attorney Dizon fails to reach Olivia on phone so she notifies Troy of her intention to go and check up on her at her place. Zhenny asks Troy to make the guards disperse the protestors outside since they don’t have a permit. However, Troy tells her to let them be so they could realize that they’re not the real enemy.
Attorney Dizon finds Olivia all set and ready to move out of her house with her sister. She asks about the case and Olivia tells her that she’s dropping it because she’s no longer interested in pressing charges. Laura is dumbfounded for a moment. She realizes that the Ramoneses had gotten to her and have knowledge about their plans.
A series of flashbacks reveal how Alberto’s minions had compelled the women into submission. Olivia refuses to go against the Ramoneses for her sister’s sake. Laura says they would protect them but Olivia won’t hear any of it. She apologizes and reveals that the Ramoneses had given her a fully furnished house and a high paying job.
A minion of Alberto comes to pick them up and Laura makes a futile attempt to reason with Olivia. Jigs confronts Cassandra in front of Mark her fiancé and subtly thrêatens to expose her secret if she doesn’t keep her mouth shut.
During a meeting at Balai Arkitektura, Kyle sadly takes note of how Axel and Rica keep smiling at each other and he gives meaning to it. To make matters worse, he also witnesses the two making plans for lunch. In the boss’ office, Chino asks Kyle if he has any idea how Axel’s talk with Rica had gone. Kyle shakes his head.
“I asked Axel,” Chino begins. “He just said everything’s fine. So are you okay? You’re fine with it?”
“I’ll try my best to be happy for them,” Kyle replies. “Even if it’s the hardest thing I will ever need to do.”
Karla has a talk with her husband about Rica’s relationship with the mayor. Dan gives her attitude, saying that he had only supported her decision because it worked in his favor.
Recalling an argument they had had before about Troy, Karla asks if he’s doubting her lövê for him. She says it hurts to think that their marriage is now filled with doubts.
Audrey hangs out with her friends, talking about her husband’s time with Rica at the city hall. She’s upset and worried that it would make Alberto even more upset, so she plans to find a way to convince Troy to patch things up with his father.
Back at the Sicats, Dan hugs his wife, telling her that löviñg her was the best decision he ever made. Karla then asks of his reason for his skepticism.
Dan says he fears her feelings for the mayor would resurface since he’s now back in her life again. While Audrey’s friends speculate that Troy could possibly develop feelings for Karla again, Karla assures Dan that she no longer feels anything for Troy.
At BA, Rica brings Kyle a report for some project and resolves to stare at him for a while before turning to leave. Kyle looks up, saying that he just wants her to be happy.
Rica turns back. “Sir?”
“You deserve to be happy. And I’m happy that you’re happy. You know that I’ll always be here for you if you need someone to talk to. As long as it’s okay with him.”
Rica thanks him for always being there for her. As she walks away, a confused expression crosses her face so she turns back again and asks her boss what he meant by “as long as it’s okay with him”.
Miss May intrudes in that moment. Meanwhile, Chino excitedly presses Axel for details about his talk with Rica. He brings up how Kyle had said that he would try his best to be happy for him and Rica.
Axel seems confused for a moment until Chino states that he’s happy for him that Rica had chosen him but sad for Kyle. Axel sadly reveals that Rica had rejected him. Surprised, Chino asks why they had been talking to each other happily earlier and Axel laments over his plight, saying that he would break if he doesn’t act like that.
Axel says he would have avoided falling in lövê had he known that it was this challenging. In school, Pogs has a talk with Brax about the issue with Bea and he apologizes for taking advantage of her. Brax asks that they be friends and Pogs gladly agrees.
Somewhere in town, Karla has an encounter with that abüsive customer from the past. A phone call comes in from attorney Dizon. Speaking of, Troy is appalled at the length his father had gone to sabotage them. They can’t seem to figure out how the other camp had found out about their plan.
Laura reveals that none of the women are now willing to come forward to file cases against Jigs and his friends. Karla considers going to talk to Olivia again.
“You can try,” Laura says. “She already took what they had with her. A job and a new house. I don’t know how you can change her mind.”
Dan is evidently upset. “Will it always be like this? They always use their money. All our efforts end up going to waste.” Dan turns to mayor Troy. “If this is how dirty your family wants to play, then fine. Let’s play dirty too. If that’s what it takes to win, then so be it. You’re here to help us, right? Then prove yourself. We’ve already sacrificed so much. We can’t just let it end like this. I won’t allow it!”
Archie dumbly slips into his family home to retrieve a blasted engagement ring. On his way back to Ella, he updates her with a text message and soon ends up getting caught by Jigs’ lapdogs. The rascals restrain him and roughs him up as Jigs arrives.
The rotten councilor glances around the area and not wanting anyone to see them, he has his lackeys dump Archie into their car, but not before punching him in the midsection for good measure. The episode concludes as Archie is driven away.
