“I will turn my back on my mission just so I can prove how much I lövê you. Alyana, if you wish to never see me again, then I promise you. First thing tomorrow morning, I’ll be gone. One day, when you wake up without me by your side, that’s when you’ll know I’ve let you go.”
Cardo is accompanied by Alyana and his buddies to the town hall where they try to make the captain/chairman believe that Cardo had done nothing wrong because he had good reason to give Javier such a good beating.
Some watchmen come to fetch Javier at his camp and the rascal chases them off with threats. The members of the Vendetta deliberate on their current mission and Marigold offers to go and meet William. Lucas tells Hipolito of his scheme to frame William as the accomplice of the Vendetta.
He asks for Hipolito to make his men parade themselves as members of Vendetta and publicly confess to k!lling William. Back at the town hall in Santo Nino, the watchmen report back to the chairman about Javier’s refusal to come. On that note, he dismisses the matter.
Delfin comes to pay his sister and her family a visit at their new home and offers her some money to help out with her business. Flora gladly accepts but insists on paying him back. Now back in their hut, Cardo manages to convince Alyana to tour the town together.
He mentions that according to what he heard, Javier and his group are outsiders who usually extort and thrêaten the locals. Alyana is appalled by the situation. However, when Cardo states that he wants to put a stop to the injustices, Alyana reminds him of the promise he had made to her.
She asks him leave them be so he doesn’t get into trouble. Cardo then teases her with her apparent concern for him. While Marco is at the Arevalos for updates regarding Alyana, Teddy receives a phone call from Grandma Flora.
Flora asks Teddy to come over to their new home because she has something to tell him. Once off the phone, Teddy relays the info to his wife. Psyçhö Marco then asks to tag along.
Meanwhile, Cardo makes Alyana cross the river with him as he taunts her with how she had tried to leave him for good. When Alyana gives him attitude over how he had abandoned her, Cardo resolves to make mockery of her.
“Be careful. You might fall,” Cardo teases as Alyana trudges through the river annoyingly.
“You’re so lame,” Alyana remarks.
Cardo supports his wife as she stumbles and almost falls. “You need to be careful. C’mon.”
“Let go of me.”
“Stop trying to ki$$ me,” Cardo sneers.
“In your dreams, Cardo.”
The Flower Power Girls deliberate on how to handle William. Since there’s strength in numbers, Blossom and a few others decide to go with Marigold in order to get the info they want.
At the Palace, General Borja strives to make President Hidalgo believe that the Vendetta weren’t the group that had åttaçked the vice president. Oscar begins whining and accusing Delfin of trying to protect the vigilantes. Cardo makes deliberate efforts to get through to his wife so they could sort everything out.
For every time he tries, Alyana frustrates his efforts, even as our favorite hero desperately tries to convince her to give him another chance. Cardo pleads for a chance to make it up to her so they could mend their relationship. Alyana insinuates that he’s the only hopeful of them getting back together.

Cardo drowns in misery as Alyana leaves him on the bridge. While Homer notifies his lackeys of their next job to take out the president’s right-hand man, Lucas continues to fòöl William into believing that he’s still on his side.
Hipolito pays a visit to his henchmen to brief them about their job. Alyana is at it again as she nags our favorite hero with her ranting.
Mrs. Dalisay puts on a quite dramatic display, lamenting over how her husband had hurt her deeply by abandoning her and not being there for her when her life had been in danger.
Cardo is as miserable as ever. He pleads for forgiveness and admits that he hadn’t been a good husband. Again, he asks for another chance and Alyana asks if he would really be able to leave everything behind and turn his back on his mission for her. Selfish much?
Cardo is silent and solemn for a moment. “If that’s the only way to get you back, then I will turn my back on my mission. Just so I can prove how much I lövê you. Please come back to me, Alyana. I can’t live without you by my side.”
After all the trouble, Alyana now has the indecency to tell our favorite hero to let her go, saying that it’s too late and she doesn’t want them to get back together. Cardo can do nothing but to oblige with such crushing emotion.
“One day, Alyana…when you wake up without me by your side, that’s when you’ll know I’ve let you go.”
The girls talk about Cardo as they’re worried about his safety wherever he is. A couple of them hope he’s finally together with his wife, and Miss Becky asks that they pray for his safety.
Speaking of, Cardo is seated on a huge rock in the river, brooding by himself and beating himself up over his situation. In the hut, Alyana reflects on some memories with her husband and son as well as her illëgâl boyfriend.
The Arevalo couple come to see Grandma Flora at her home and she receives them warmly. Flora’s bright countenance drops the moment she sets her eyes on Pysçhö Marco. She asks for some privacy to speak with Teddy and Virgie and Marco begins with his nönseñse. Flora insists that he leaves so Marco does leave angrily after Teddy butts in.
Meanwhile, Alyana begins worrying since her husband hasn’t returned home yet. Cardo hangs out with his buddies and Mario urges him to not be bothered by the hurtful things his wife had said to him. He says women like to nag and aren’t real men like them who mean what they say. Caloy seconds him.
Alyana waits in vain for Cardo to join her for dinner. She regrets the harsh words and treatment she had dealt him and hopes that he really comes back so she could apologize to him.
Flora reveals to the Arevalo couple about her hunch of Alyana being with Cardo. She tells them of how Alyana’s disappearance had coincided with Cardo’s visit.
As expected, Virgie starts whining but Teddy isn’t that bothered since believes Cardo and Alyana would finally have the chance to talk things out and reach a decision. Pysçhö Marco talks to his mother on phone while driving. As usual, the lünatiç is eager and desperate to find Alyana and k!ll Cardo.
President Hidalgo charges Casillag to double the security for his family because of Lucas’ claim that the Vendetta is the group that had threatened his life. The ignorant gullible man fears that his family could be Vendetta’s next target.
The rotten William Celerio is revealed to have a little daughter who he promises to find a way to spend more time with. Anyway, psyçhö Marco is shirtless in a washroom as he stares at his reflection in the mirror. He empties a bottle of pills into his palm and has such crazed look on his face.
“You’re not supposed to dīê,” the lunatic tells himself. “Cardo is! Cardo is the only one who should dīê! You’re mine, Alyana. No one will get in the way of our lövê. I will k!ll you, Cardo. I will k!ll you! I will k!ll you!! I will k!ll you!!!”
