“I don’t remember. She’s not just a liar, she’s a toxic man-eater that shouldn’t be listened to.”
The episode begins with attorney Dizon recounting to Rica and the others how their investigators had tried to convince the victimized women to file charges against Jigs after showing them the photos and videos in the chat group.
The women had refused to get involved for their own personal reasons, mostly so they don’t become targets of the Ramoneses. Rica then offers to talk to them personally and try to convince them to cooperate with them. Karla offers to reach out to them as well since she had been in a similar situation before.
In school, Bea and Nico respectively cheer for Brax and Pogs during a basketball game. When the guys take a break, Pogs urges Brax to tell Bea the truth already and not to keep leading her on so she doesn’t get too hurt. Brax taps Pogs on the shoulder, saying that he’s really a good person.
The game resumes and Bea gushes over Brax as he defends Pogs from an upset player from the other team. At the bar, Chino hangs out with Axel and strives to make him talk things out with Kyle before their situation escalates.
Somewhere at another bar, Jigs makes a futile attempt to reach his cousin on phone. Jigs and his buddies discuss the disappearance of Archie and his parents. Liam says they should stop worrying and just drink because the girls there look fun.
Meanwhile, Archie tells Ella that though the other camp are ignorant about the files he had given to Rica’s camp, they still have to be careful. Raven runs into Axel on her way into the bar and he tells her that she shouldn’t be coming to such a place.
Raven says she’s not had a drink since the day she had stormed BA to make that scene. Still, Axel tells her that it’s a bad idea and stüpid to test herself like that since she could fall into temptation. He then urges her to just go home before walking away.
At home, Audrey tries to make out with her husband but Troy evades her advances. He seems not to be in the mood. Bea takes pleasure in looking at some photos of Brax on her phone but she gets upset when a couple of Pogs’ show up uninvited. Rica receives a text message from Kyle, asking if he could talk to her.
Dan assures his wife that he’s fine with Rica accompanying the mayor since they have limited time and need to focus on the case. The next morning, the couple, together with their eldest daughter, wait for the mayor at the rendezvous place.
“Thank you for doing this,” Rica says to her mother.
“I will always fight beside you,” Karla declares.
Rica then asks how her father is holding up.
“I’m doing fine. Don’t worry about me,” Dan remarks. “You just need to focus on what you have to do.”
Cue in a high-five. Mayor Troy soon arrives and resolves to stare at Rica and her parents for a while before getting in his car with the former. Troy briefs Rica about the person they’re going to meet – Cassandra, Raven’s friend. At the rooftop of the Constantine, Kyle sees a message Rica had left him. It spells out that she doesn’t want to get between him and Axel.
Mrs. Constantino reaches out to Rose to get the details of what had happened to Rica so she doesn’t fall victim to fake news. Rose recounts her friend’s ordeal and assures madam CC that Rica isn’t capable of doing what the people have been accusing her of. Consuelo seems surprised to learn that Councilor Jigs is the one Rica is going up against.
“Troy Ramones and the rest of his family are all the same,” Consuelo declares. “They’re just reaping what they sowed.”
Kyle shows up out of nowhere. A moment later in his office, Consuelo tries to make her son see her reason for interfering. She says she can’t leave Sidero without fixing things because she had practically accused Rica of playing with his and Axel’s feelings.
Axel walks in to hear the last bit and realizes why Rica had ditched him the other night. Enter Mrs. Gracia who reveals that Rica had asked for a day off to take care of an emergency. Dan brings his wife to Olivia’s place and she tries to convince Olivia to join the fight and file charges against Jigs.
Cassandra is at a restaurant with Mark her fiancé trying out a couple of different cakes for their upcoming wedding. Once Mark leaves, mayor Troy shows up with Rica in tow. Olivia is reluctant to press charges against Jigs and his friends because she fears for the safety of her younger sister.
Troy and Rica try to convince Cassandra to help them out with the case but she just snubs them and refuses to involve herself in that kind of scandal which could ruin her marriage plans. Rica tries to reason and relate with her but Cassie’s sole priority is her marriage.
Though Cassie reveals that Jigs had also sëxuålly abûsed her several times when she had been with him, she’s still hesitant to involve herself with the case. Raven hangs out with her dear cousin at the Ramones mansion.
She brings up her encounter with Cassie and the talk they had had over lunch on her trip to Manila. Jigs reacts with indifference and Raven asks why they had broken up when they used to be inseparable. Jigs says they were young back then and wanted different things.
“I don’t even remember you two breaking up,” Raven says. “She just suddenly stopped showing up. What was it you two fought about?”
“I don’t remember,” is all Jigs can say.
“What she told me was, you’re bad news to women.”
Jigs’ demeanor turns sinister. “Then she’s not just a liar, she’s a toxic man-eater that shouldn’t be listened to.”
Raven is dumbfounded. While Cassie makes it clear to Rica that she can’t convince her, Jigs trivializes his earlier troubling reaction and makes deliberate efforts to dehumanize Cassie. Raven plays along and claims that Cassie’s comments about him were also nothing but a joke.
Meanwhile, Troy is desperate to make Cassie cooperate with them, and Rica is unsettled that he’s willing to use his power to intimidate people into submission. Troy declares that he would do anything to help and protect her.
Audrey comes to see Alberto who starts bombarding her with questions about her husband.
Alberto asks Bobby about an update on the Solimans and Bobby says they’re on a vacation they had cancelled before. He says there’s no cause for alarm because he’s sure the case against Jigs would be dismissed tomorrow because their enemies probably don’t have any new evidence to present.
Alberto smells something fishy going on with the other camp, so he charges Bobby to figure it out. Back in Manila, Troy approaches Cassie as she concludes a video call with her father. For Rica’s benefit, he doesn’t carry out his intention to blackmail her but only wishes her luck with her marriage. The episode concludes as Rica gladly stares at Troy.
