Grandma Flora and her famAily settle into their new home, just as Cardo and Alyana join the other indigenous folks to watch the much awaited show in Santo Niño. As Javier and his gãñg join the crowd, the host gives an introductory speech and introduces the two men who would be engaging in a battle of words about a lövê story.
One was left behind while the other promises to come back. The guys begin the oral contest amidst a couple of interludes, and they seem to be telling the story of Cardo and Alyana who get emotional about the entire exchange. They conclude their performance to a warm reception.
Mario and the other guys are amazed with the spoken word and hope that it would make Alyana forgive her husband. They invite the couple to the dance floor later on. Captain Dingding honors Grandma Flora’s invitation to come over, and she’s treated and appreciated for all the help she’s given.
Councilor Gina is appalled and worried to learn that Grandma Flora and her family hadn’t exactly left the community. She plans to convince the captain to join forces with team Coun. G before Flora gives her damaging info about her that could ruin their schemes.
At the new home, Dingding informs the family about the upcoming livelihood program purposely for senior citizens and housewives. She promises to notify them once the seminars start.
Hipolito is eager to stage a new ‘Vendetta’ ãttaçk in order for Lucas to win the full trust of the president. Lucas is reluctant to do it since he worries that the authorities might get wind of their scheme. At the Palace, Oscar shows Casillag a file of the ongoing case and he takes note of the symbolized V.
“This is the mark the Vendetta leaves whenever they âttaçk.”
“And that report also states that the men who ambushed Lucas were wearing masks,” President Hidalgo remarks. “If Vendetta intended to leave a mark to claim responsibility for the ambush, then why would they even try to conceal their identities?”
Vice President Cabrera tells Hipolito that in order to get rid of all of Oscar’s doubts and suspicions, then he needs a sacrificial lamb; a fall guy, a Palace employee he can pin the blame on. William Celerio.
Meanwhile, Captain Dingding is grateful for the loyalty of Grandma Flora as well as her genuine concern for their neighborhood. When Flora asks what she means by that, Dingding says she believes everything she had told her about Councilor Gina’s illëgâl activities.
Captain Dingding promises to be on Flora’s side and try her best to correct all of the mistakes of Councilor Gina. Flora is thankful and hopeful for some positive changes. Gina observes secretly and begins with her antics, unwilling to let Dingding side with Grandma Flora. In Santo Nino, Cardo and Alyana are compelled to join the others on the dance floor.
While Lucas continues plotting against William, Cardo and Alyana begin to enjoy themselves on the dance floor. Javier arrives with his gãñg in tow and observes the Dalisay couple slow-dancing to the tune of the music.
As our favorite hero is engrossed in the moment with his wife, Javier intrudes and asks Alyana for a dance. Caloy tells Cardo that it’s a norm to dance with anyone in the town so Cardo reluctantly moves away and observes.
When he notices how the rascal keeps fondling his wife, he storms over and rewards him with a puñch and a couple more. The scene disturbs the harmony of the place and pulls in the crowd. Cardo is restrained from going after Javier.
Alyana tries to get him to stop but our favorite hero won’t listen. After ordering his lackeys to stay out of it, Javier comes at our favorite hero and he gets his ass kicked silly.
Cardo practically beats up Javier to a pulp and leaves him in a bloody mess much to the pleasure of the locals. Alyana storms away angrily but who cares? Javier is picked up by his lapdogs since he can’t even manage to stand.
“He’s got nothing on Cardo,” someone sneers.
“Don’t forget what happened here,” Javier grumbles. “I’m not done with you yet.”
Cardo seethes before walking away. At the Arevalos, Teddy has an argument with his irritating wife about psyçhö Marco.
Unlike Virgie, he refuses to let Marco be with their daughter because of his terrible temper and rotten personality. Meanwhile, Alyana lashes out at our favorite hero for getting into the fight with Javier. Cardo tries to reason with him but she just continues whining and blabbering on and on.
Oscar apologizes to his son for the situation he’s put him and his siblings in. You know, how they’ve been compelled to live a restricted life because of the presidency. Yohan hopes that all their problems would soon be over, and they would go back to their normal lives eventually.
The members of the Vendetta tail William to a hotel, and George decides to head in and keep an eye on their target since he’s not a fugitive.
The next morning, George is woken up by a staff and in no time, William passes by with an escort. George subtly takes a photo of the couple.
In Santo Nino, Cardo prepares breakfast in an attempt to make it up to his wife. He apologizes for last night and mentions that he had only gotten into the fight because he couldn’t allow anyone to disrespect her. Alyana says she understands though she hopes that he doesn’t get into any more trouble.
“That Cardo is a darn fool,” Javier grumbles at his place. “He humiliated me in front of everybody. The next time that I see his face, I’ll make sure he gets the kind of beating he deserves.” Cardo reaffirms his apology to his wife and promises to be good and try to stay out of trouble from now on.
Back at the camp of the rascals, Javier turns down someone’s suggestion to go up to the mountains and tell his brother about the incident. He says he can handle things himself.
Meanwhile, Caloy and his buddies come to fetch Cardo since the captain wants to talk to him at the town hall regarding last night’s incident with Javier.
The members of the Vendetta deliberate on William’s immoral vice. Miss Becky recognizes the lady he had been with as one of the girls who works for a friend of hers. On that note, the group plan to use the situation to figure out what Lucas and Hipolito are up to.
