“He slept around. He’s a cheater, and a liar. He’s just like his friends. They’re just bad news for women. When it comes to Jigs, it’s like you have blinders on.”
The episode begins with Consuelo beating herself up over her husband’s death as well as how she had left Kyle to deal with the aftermath of the tragic incident. She recounts how her son had taken care of her, not knowing that he was also suffering silently.
Consuelo says Kyle took care of her, and Axel took care of Kyle, adding that her son wouldn’t have survived if not for Axel. Rica sympathizes with her and leaves without another word.
Archie meets up with Ella and gladly reunites with her. Ella thanks him for giving the files to Rica’s camp.
Cecelia worries about the reaction of the Ramoneses when they find out about it so Archie urges that they leave the country immediately. Speaking of, Alberto tells Bobby and Jigs of the disappearances of the Solimans. He charges Bobby to find Archie and also find out the real reason why his parents had left town.
Rica walks home, all the while reflecting on some moments with Axel and Kyle. The next morning, Pogs crashes their house during breakfast and Bea begins picking a fight with him over how he’s suddenly become friendly with Brax.
She asks what they had talked about and when Pogs says it was just about basketball, she refuses to believe him. She questions him some more and thrêatens to deal with him if she finds out that he had badmouthed her.
“I will hate you to the bones. And so will my future kids. And all the generations after them. They’ll hate you to the bone!”
“Calm down,” Pogs merely says. “C’mon. You’ll teach our kids to hate their father? Don’t do that to me, lövê.”
The Sicat couple and their other kids can’t help but to laugh at that. Bea gets in Pogs’ face and expresses her disgust, saying that they would never have a future.
Pogs teases her, saying that she could never know what would happen in the future. Rica remarks that young lövê is simple and not complicated, and Bea argues that Pogs is just a friend. She annoyingly kicks him out of the house much to the amusement of her family.
Troy is having a hard time dealing with the trouble involving Legend Factory and his father. As soon as he joins his wife and daughter at the dining table, Audrey asks him to call his father if he wants his problem to be solved. Troy refuses to go back to him and that’s the beginning of another argument.
Audrey is upset with her daughter because of her decision to support both her father and Jigs at the same time. Audrey begins ranting and Raven declares that she would not be pressured into choosing a side because it was the reason why she had relapsed.
Meanwhile, Rica has a talk with her mother about matters of the heart. She’s weary of falling in lövê and getting into a relationship because of what had happened to her, and Karla assures her that the time would come when she would meet the right person who would help her regain her confidence.
Karla tells her daughter that she would soon realize that it’s possible to live with both joy and sadness. She likens her past experience to her daughter’s, and Rica argues that her situation was different because the mayor really lōvêd her. Still, Karla reaffirms that she would eventually fall in lövê with someone who would lövê her back.
Axel begins treating Kyle with indifference on account of yesterday’s incident. He grudgingly leaves the table when Kyle comes over. A moment later, Consuelo comes bearing some treats. She mentions that Rica seems decent and when Kyle asks what had changed her mind, she evades the question.
Meanwhile, attorney Dizon notifies Karla about how they’ve been able to identify the other victims of Jigs. One by name Cassandra happens to be a friend of Raven’s. Axel asks Rica why she hadn’t shown up last night as agreed and she apologizes and tells him that she had had an emergency.
Meanwhile, Raven meets up with Cassandra and another acquaintance. Cassie flaunts her engagement ring. They chitchat for a while and when Jigs’ name comes up, Cassie notes that the guy was “such a disappointment” when she used to date him. Talk turns back to her fiancé and she begins gushing over him.
“What made you say that Jigs was a disappointment?” Raven asks after a moment.
Cassie tries to trivialize the matter. “Just joking. It’s all in the past now.”
“But I’m still curious. Why did you two break up?”
“He slept around. He’s a cheater, and a liar. He’s just like his friends. They’re just bad news for women. When it comes to Jigs, it’s like you have blinders on.”
Raven reflects on Archie’s accusations against Jigs, as well as Rica’s. Cassie then changes the subject to her upcoming wedding. At Balai Arkitektura, Rica begins treating Axel and Kyle with reservations. Kyle approaches her and asks why she’s become so distant.
When he figures out that it’s because of his mother, Rica reveals that Madam CC had talked to her last night so he should ask her himself.
Cassandra gladly parts ways with Raven as she eagerly looks forward to her wedding. Out of nowhere comes one of Laura’s investigators to ask her some questions about Jigs. In school, Bea picks on Pogs again on account of his unusual friendliness with Brax.
At home, Karla pours out her heart to her husband regarding her conversation with their daughter the other day. However, she’s hopeful that Rica would overcome everything and regain her self-confidence.
Karla laments over her past ordeal when she had been an escort. She’s grateful for Dan being with her through it all, though she worries that Rica might not meet someone as löviñg as he is. Dan consoles his wife and tells her that they would both be there for their daughter no matter what.
Audrey exchanges words with a friend over her affair with Bobby and Troy’s reaction and treatment. Meanwhile, Kyle questions his mother about her talk with Rica and Consuelo comes clean.
“…I might have mentioned that you and Axel both have feelings for her.”
Kyle is in disbelief. “Mom, why did you do that? She was rãpëd. And her case is still ongoing, so her life is complicated right now.”
It’s Madam CC’s turn to be taken by surprise. She recalls a part of her conversation with Rica. “I’m sorry.”
“So now you know. Why I don’t wanna confess my feelings to her. I didn’t want to add to her burdens. All I want is to be there for her.”
Consuelo apologizes profusely and offers to apologize to Rica too but Kyle snubs her and walks away, quite upset, leaving her mother looking miserable.
Meanwhile, attorney Dizon updates the Sicats and the mayor about how her investigators had tried to get through to some of the women who had been identified in the group chat. Apparently, none of them is willing to talk or file a case against Jigs.
