The Sicats return home and Rica confirms Dan’s willingness to work together on the case with the mayor. Dan admits that her mother had been right and Rica thanks him all the same. After she leaves for her room to take a rest, Karla strives to explain her reason for meeting up with Troy. Dan is upset that she had lied to him and kept him in the dark.
Karla argues her case and makes it clear that everything she had done was for their daughter’s sake. Dan begins ranting about her relationship with the mayor in the past, saying that she wouldn’t have left him if things had worked in her favor.
Karla reminds him that he was the one she had chosen. She laments over the situation and reaffirms her lövê for him. Still, Dan argues that things between them hadn’t just ended and that’s what has been keeping him at night all this time.
Rica lies in bed and reflects on the troubling evidence she had discovered at attorney Dizon’s office. When her sister suddenly wakes, she has her promise to be careful when it comes to guys and never give them her trust so easily even if they profess their lövê for her.
Bea asks her to stop worrying so much because they have a standard for spotting the red flags – comparing them to their father, that is. Kyle has another one of his nightmares featuring his dead dad and when he eventually startles awake, Axel offers him a glass of water which he accepts.
At the Ramones residence, Raven worries and questions her father about the incident earlier. Recalling how Attorney Dizon had sworn them all to secrecy regarding the evidence against Jigs, as well as Raven’s declaration of her support for her shæmelëss cousin, Troy claims that it’s just stress from a lot of work.
Aubrey tells her husband of how she had failed to plead his case with his dad. Though Troy recalls Alberto’s thrêãts and blāckmails, he refuses to change his mind. Audrey begins nagging and lashing out at him. While the Sicats couple reconcile, Consuelo visits her husband’s grave with her boys.
Rica has another session with her therapist. She makes note of the two men who had become close to her and goes on about how she had been able to trust them effortlessly. Kyle thanks Axel for everything he has been doing for him, and Axel reflects on how he had planned to go back on their deal and confess his feelings for Rica.
Raven hangs out with Jigs and she makes a futile effort to talk him into convincing grandpa to stop harassing her father. She asks if Alberto had anything to do with his mom leaving him and Jigs recounts how his father used to beat her up every day.
At the Constantine, Kyle sees the word ‘hug’ freshly written on the wall. When he fails to reach Rica on phone, he catches up with her on her way out of the building. Laura tells Karla that she’s already sent the files to the telecommunications commission, hoping that it would be approved before the deadline.
Back at the Constantine, Kyle and Rica laugh over the fearful reaction of some delivery guy when they had made an order earlier.
“He must have been worried that someone is making an order from this place.”
“I just gave him a bigger tip to compensate him for stressing him out a little,” Kyle says.
Rica observes as her boss snacks on his hamburger. “I’m happy to see you’re smiling again.”
“That doesn’t usually happen on this day,” Kyle remarks. “I guess I’m smiling because you’re here.”
Kyle stares at her for a while and when she breaks eye contact and tries to leave with a flimsy excuse, he holds her back and asks her to stay away from work just for today.
Rica laughs. “I wanna hear you say that to Mrs. Gracia.”
Kyle is alarmed for some reason. “No way. Hurry up and finish that. We both might end up in the principal’s office.”
“You’re such a scaredy-cat,” Rica teases.
Pogs is putt off with how Bea continuously cheers for Brax during a basketball game, so he decides to join the team. Back at the Constantine, Kyle beats himself up over his dad’s tragic end and Rica assure him that it’s not his fault. They’re left staring and smiling at each other for a while.
At Balai Arkitektura, Chino strives to talk Axel out of pushing through with his plan of confessing to Rica. Axel is upset when he learns that Kyle won’t be coming in today because he’s making site visits with Rica.The basketball game gets awkward real soon when Pogs deliberately makes it his mission to ãttaçk Brax despite being on the same team with him.
On one occasion, Brax evades his assåult which sends Pogs crashing to the floor. He approaches him and asks if he has a problem with him, and Pogs asks if he’s in lövê with Bea and wants to ask her out. When the guy remains silent, he threatens to hunt him down if he ever makes her cry.
Brax assures Pogs that he wouldn’t be pursuing Bea because she’s just a friend. After glancing at Bea who’s been looking on evidently upset all this time, Pogs rises to his feet and gladly begins to play nice.
Later that night at home, while Axel anxiously waits for the return of his buddy, Kyle thanks Rica for spending the day with him. Rica says it’s nothing compared to all the time he had been there for her.
Kyle admits that he does all those things because he likes listening to her and spending time with her. Rica smilingly observes Kyle for a while after he’s moved away a little to answer a phone call. She receives a text message from someone which seems to surprise her.
A moment later, Rica walks into a restaurant where she meets Consuelo. Madam CC thanks her for coming and Rica asks if there’s something important she wants to talk about.
“It’s about Kyle and Axel,” Consuelo begins.
“But what about them, ma’am?”
“Don’t you know, Miss Sicat? They’re both in lövê with you.”
Flashback: Rica confides in her therapist about Kyle and Axel and the doctor asks if she only sees the guys as friends. Rica is unsettled when she’s asked whether she likes one more than the other. She says she’s not sure and that she doesn’t have time for those kind of emotions because her life is already complicated. Dr. Irene asks why she’s so afraid to face her feelings.

“But what if they see you as more than a friend?” Dr. Irene merely asks. “What would you do, Rica?”
Presently, Consuelo reaffirms her revelation regarding the feelings of her boys. As a concerned mother, she goes on about how Kyle and Axel are practically brothers. She brings up the tension between the guys and accredit it to her. Consuelo insinuates that Rica could be pitting them against each other just to make herself feel better.
Rica declares that she isn’t like that. She admits that she’s become weary of people because she’s been through a lot lately, adding that because of Kyle and Axel, as well as her coworkers in BA, she had come to realize that good people still exist in the world.
“People who won’t take advantage of me,” Rica states. “And who won’t judge me for what happened.”
Mrs. Consuelo merely sighs.
“They made me feel safe and secure,” Rica continues. “That’s why I’ll never play with their feelings. And I’ll definitely never forget all the kindness and understanding they’ve shown me. That’s why you have nothing to worry about, Mrs. Constantino.”
