Grandma Flora and her family watch the interview of the shady vice president where he makes it a point to discredit Cardo’s Vendetta. The family express their outrage over the matter, just as the members of the Vendetta and the Flower Power Girls also watch the live broadcast at their place.
It would mean trouble for the vice president if Brandon is proven guilty in court after due process and so, the vigilantes take delight in the plight of their enemies. Jerome and Soriano set out to Marco’s place in hopes of getting some info that could help their search for Alyana. The vice president has a talk with his son who expresses his worries over Alyana’s disappearance.
On account of their family’s misfortunes, Lucas charges his son to be strong. Marco agrees and states that he has to be strong for Alyana but Lucas begs to differ, saying that he has to be strong for their family. The guys recount Alyana’s attempted escape to Caloy and they’re all bothered with the fact that things aren’t going to be easy for Cardo.
While Doray and her grandma bring Alyana some breakfast and clothes in the hut, our favorite joins the guys outside and they discuss with him his current situation with his estranged wife. Back in the hut, grandma gives Alyana sound advice on her marriage. Doray begins reminiscing about James her ex and she gets scolded.
Alyana is counseled to be more forgiving and understanding to her husband. Doray begins with her ranting so the older lady has to drag her away for Mrs. Dalisay to have some peace of mind. Meanwhile, the guys urge Cardo to continue wooing his wife since they believe he would eventually win her over.
At the eatery, Elmo spots Marco’s spy and ends up chasing him off. Goon in question reports back to his boss who demands that he doesn’t call again until he really has some info.Menchu counsels Marco to leave Cardo’s family alone. She tells him to quit fôöling around because their family doesn’t need another problem should his men rat him out when they’re caught.
Psyçhö Marco snaps and apologizes, only to learn that some officers are outside waiting to have a word with him. A moment later, Marco meets Jerome and Soriano who take notes as he narrates the incidents that had led up to Alyana’s disappearance.
“According to reports, a few days before this dinner date…” Jerome begins. “You and Alyana had an argument. What happened?”
Psyçhö Marco begins to exhibit his explosive, rotten personality. “I will not answer that question.”
“With all due respect, why won’t you answer?” Soriano merely asks. “Are you trying to hide something?”
“Alright, get out!”
“We didn’t come here to cause trouble,” Jerome beseeches.
“That’s what you’re doing,” Marco grumbles. “You’re making me a suspect here.”
“We’re trying to get some more details…”
“No I said get out! Do you even know who my father is?!”
Menchu strives to keep her demented nephew calm before sending off the officers before heads starts rolling. In the meantime, Catherine has a talk with her husband about Marco’s situation. She urges Lucas to clean up the mess he and Brandon had made since it’s been affecting Marco.
Speaking of, the lünatiç of the century storms the Dalisay residence to confront and accuse them of pitting the police against him. Grandma Flora says the psyçhö should stop bothering them because they don’t know what he’s talking about.
“I’m the one being bothered!” bellows psyçhö Marco. “You’ve been keeping Alyana away from me! Give her back!”
“We don’t know what you’re talking about,” Yolly tries to reason.
“She’s with Cardo. Those two are together, aren’t they?”
Flora is exasperated. “If she’s really with Cardo, then what’s it to you? There is nothing wrong with that. The two are still married.”
“I can’t allow that! Alyana is mine now!”
“You better stop yelling at Grandma Flora,” Paco butts in. “Don’t think that being the vice president’s son gives you the right to do what you want.”
Wally and Elmo join in on the fun and as the psyçhö makes a scene, his bodyguards restrain him and Elmo identifies the goon that had been spying on them all this time. Flora then runs Marco off.
Meanwhile, Jerome and Soriano report back to the Arevalo couple on their investigation. They caution them about their temperamental would-be son-in-law and Virgie comes to his defense as always. The Vendetta decide to keep their eyes on Hipolito and Lucas since they believe that they’re up to something.
Cardo and his buddies hang out at a bar discussing matters of the heart. Javier and his minions show up to run off the other customers. Councilor Gina makes a futile attempt to get the newly elected captain of the neighborhood to side with her. Dingding questions her about the illëgâl gámbling dens she’s rumored to be involved in. Gina plays dumb and professes to be a faithful public servant.
At Santo Nino, Alyana fetches some water and struggles to carry it to the bathroom, all the while snubbing Cardo when he tries to help her. Our favorite hero stands guard outside as his dear wife begins to take her bath. She soon runs out of water and with her eyes burning with soap, she calls out to Cardo for help.
“I need water! More water! Cardo, get more water!”
Cardo hurries over to the bathroom.
“Wait! Don’t come in here!”
“You asked me to get more water,” Cardo points out.
“Yeah, but if you come inside, you’ll see me ñakèd,” Alyana argues.
“What’s the big deal? I’ve seen you ñakèd before.”
“That was before. My eyes are burning, get me water. Hurry.”
“How can I give it to you if you won’t let me inside?”
“Alright, but don’t you dare peek. Keep your eyes closed.”
“Fine. I won’t peek.”
Cardo proceeds to get the bucket while his face is averted.
“I’ll puñch you if you take a peek, Cardo.”
“I won’t.”
Cardo retrieves the bucket and hurries to fetch the water as Alyana continues ranting. He slides it back into the bathroom with his eyes closed. Ironic enough, Alyana shoos him away like a dog but he resolves to stare at her from a distance. Despite her unending ranting, our favorite hero can’t help but to smile.
Later, Doray brings the couple some dinner in the company of a neighbor by name Lori. After they’ve left, Cardo has to coax his wife into joining him at the dining table. Lori has a talk with Doray and she isn’t subtle in expressing her fondness for our favorite hero. At the Palace, the treacherous William tries to sway the president with some sweet-talking aimed at regaining his trust.
While the members of the Vendetta tail Hipolito and Lucas, Homer’s gãñg make ready for their next ãttaçk. At Santo Nino, Cardo wakes up to an unusually warm treatment from his wife. He’s elated to finally reconcile with her. However, the smile on his face dies off as soon as he sets eyes on their departed son, Ricky Boy.
Cardo is woken up for real this time by the persistent knocking of Doray. He wakes up Alyana for breakfast at Caloy’s place. While the Hidalgos, minus Marissa, have a moment in the Palace, with Yohan and Aubrey taking their little sister Grace through some English lessons, Homer’s gãñg lie in wait outside.
Over the phone, the Scorpion assures the Vulture that their surprise is ready to make its way to the president. Homer gives Roldan the green light so he puts the van into motion and speeds toward the gate of the Palace where some citizens and officers are standing.
The members of the Vendetta who had been surveying the place all this time witness the scene. Ironically enough, they’re not able to see Roldan as he throws himself out of the van before it veers straight into the gate of the Palace, injuring some citizens in the process.
Romulo unwisely hurries to check up on some of the injured, and Diana has to drag him away as the officers on guard duty check out van. Again, they find a red banner with a red V drawn on it. Homer smiles wickedly as the Vendetta drive away.
