“I want to give our case another chance. I know I said I want to give up. That I should just accept my defeat against Jigs. But I’ve realized that you’re right, mom. We have to keep fighting.”
Rica admits to Kyle that she wants to have the same kind of courage Rose showed at the police station earlier so she could face Jigs. She also admits that Kyle had been right all along. On that note, Rica decides not to give up the fight. She thanks Kyle for always being understanding in spite of her stubbornness. Kyle merely smiles.
Axel is worked up over the incident that had occurred at the restaurant involving Kyle and Rica. He resolves to crash at Chino’s place again in order to give Kyle some space. Chino reminds him that Kyle would be needing him in two days like he always does.
Troy tells attorney Dizon about his arrangement with Karla. Laura cautions him that there’ll definitely be trouble when Dan and his wife find out. Troy argues that Audrey has no right to be mad about it after what she and Bobby did to him.
Though he’s very upset about the situation, he wants to keep it a secret in order to maintain his family’s good public image so he doesn’t get criticized again. Laura likens Troy’s attitude to that of his father’s and Troy points out that he’s just thinking like a politician.
Meanwhile, Rica finds Kyle dozed off on the couch in the living room so she helps to lay him on his side and covers him with a sheet. Kyle seems to be having a nightmare as he calls out his father’s name so Rica takes his hand in hers and manages to soothe him.
The next morning, Rica wakes up to find herself still holding onto Kyle’s hand. Axel walks in and begins sulking when he witnesses the scene. Rica drops Kyle’s hand and springs up to her feet as Consuelo enters the room, compelling Kyle to wake up. Rica helps him up and he introduces her and briefs his mother about the incident that had occurred yesterday.
Axel decides to take Rica home so Kyle lends him his car. Raven is troubled with the accusations Archie had thrown at Jigs at the city hall. She reflects on the times her dear cousin had been there for her and hopes that Jigs isn’t guilty of the crimes he’s being accused of.
She receives a text message from cousin in question, asking that they hang out later. Archie retrieves the flash drive he had transferred some files to. He slips it into some kind of booklet and sends Ella a text message: “I’m going to fix this, Ella. I’ll make things right.”
Mrs. Consuelo checks her son’s wound, all the while questioning him about what had happened that had led to him getting hurt. She asks if he and Rica are just coworkers since he had risked his life for her, and Kyle tells her that they don’t have a romantic relationship.
When Consuelo learns that Axel has been staying at Chino’s, she asks if everything is okay between them and Kyle assures her that they’re fine.
Axel drops off Rica outside her house, and she tells him to make sure that Kyle takes his medicine. She then goes on about her observations and what the boss would probably need to get better.
Recalling how Rica had been holding his hand earlier, Axel snaps. He apologizes and Rica asks why he seems to be in a bad mood so early in the morning. As he tries to speak up, Nico shows up with Dan. Rica tells her dad why she hadn’t been able to come home last night.
Dan seems upset, even as Axel assures him that he and Kyle would never hurt his daughter because they respect her and have come to care for her very much. Once inside, Rica tells her family about the details of her ordeal and her parents get worked up over it and even lecture her.
“I want to give our case another chance,” Rica announces, surprising everyone. “I know I said I want to give up. That I should just accept my defeat against Jigs. But I’ve realized that you’re right, mom. We have to keep fighting.”
“I knew it, Rica,” Nico cheers. “You’re the type who never gives up.”
Karla comes clean about how she had tried to reach out to Ella, and Rica is shocked to the bone when her mother reveals that Ella is also a victim of Jigs. Speaking of, the rotten councilor taunts mayor Troy and threatens to make his life difficult like he’s done to him. In no time, some disgruntled workers confront the mayor over the case Legend Factory had filed against them. They brand him as a liar and hail curses at him.
Troy confronts Mr. Mercado, the owner of Legend Factory about their agreement. He demands that he improve his work conditions and redraw the case he filed against the union protestors if he wants his company to continue operating in Sidero.
When Mr. Mercado fails to bribe his way out, he resolves to blackmail and Troy realizes that his father is the one behind it all. The atmosphere at Balai Arkitektura is getting pretty intense as the workers await the arrival of Mrs. Consuelo who happens to be Miss May’s mentor.
Lo and behold, the woman of the hour shows up flanked by her boys. They show her around the office and when they get to the pantry, Mrs. Consuelo picks up a mug and figuring out who it belongs to, she confronts Miss May, telling her that coffee is enjoyed while hot and not cold.
“Madam CC, can you please stop terrorizing my employees here?” Kyle teases.
Mrs. Consuelo feigns being offended. “Me?”
“Your mentee is usually the one who terrorizes us here,” Axel says to Consuelo. “You trained her well.”
Kyle introduces Rose, Che and Rica to his mother. Consuelo turns her focus to the junior architect and begins interrogating her. She pierces Rica with an intimidating stare and Kyle butts in to interrupt the silent torture.
Meanwhile, Troy asks Zhenny his assistant to get their workers good lawyers to represent them and prepare to pay for bail. Audrey calls her husband to pester him about how she hadn’t received any invite for a particular party when all her friends had already gotten theirs.
She suspects that it’s Alberto’s doing and fears being ostracized by her inner circle. Troy couldn’t care less since he has more important matters to address. He cuts off Audrey’s ranting and hangs up on her.
Troy receives a text message from Karla, telling him that Rica has decided to continue the case. He texts back and asks that they meet up. Speaking of, Karla continues to keep her husband in the dark as they discuss how they would be able to find Ella.
Dan wants a different lawyer but Karla reasons that they reach out to attorney Dizon. Rave confronts Jigs about the incident at the arts school which she suspects that her grandpa is responsible for. Jigs justifies Alberto’s actions and tries to talk Raven into siding with him.
Archie stops at a red light, determined and looking forward to do the right thing for Ella. When he’s spotted by Jigs’ lapdogs, he speeds away as soon as the traffic light turns green. Back at the Ramones, Jigs receives Liam’s phone call and he’s delighted to learn that his minions are after Archie.
