“You’re Cardo’s grandma. I’m sure you want Cardo and Alyana to get back together. So it’s possible that you’re trying to convince Alyana to break up with me. Do you still believe that your tęrrôrist grandson is innocent?”
President Hidalgo leaves the Palace for the oath-taking of the newly elected senators and his special assistant William gloats silently. At the province in Santo Nino, Alyana warms up to Tutoy, the son of Caloy.
Cardo stands nearby with Caloy and the others and informs them of his situation with his wife. He thanks them for their help and the guys gladly offer to help him out with his situation.
Psyçhö Marco is still on the hunt for Alyana. He talks over the phone with his aunt Menchu who lamely insinuates that her parents might be hiding her. However, Marco doesn’t believe so.
Anyway, Caloy introduces Cardo and Alyana to his family and they receive him with such warmth because our favorite hero used to be Caloy’s defender during their time with SAF.
Catherine nags her husband about their demented son and his obsession of finding Alyana. Lucas still stands his grounds because he doesn’t want their family to suffer the fallout of their forthcoming ãttaçk.
While the members of Venom prepare for their job, General Borja calls the president on phone to notify him of the reports they had received which had stated that the Vendetta were spotted around the area the voting machines and the remains of the armed men had been found.
“Does that mean the Vendetta could be involved in the k!lling of the board of election officials, as well as the deployed soldiers?”
“That might not be the case here,” Delfin notes.
“Then how are they involved in this, General?” Oscar asks.
“Based on the eyewitnesses accounts, it appears that Vendetta themselves intercepted the delivery of the tampered voting machines.”
Homer and his lapdogs set out to the location of the oath-taking, eager and excited to ruin the Vendetta. Anyway, Cardo and Alyana are brought to the hut they would be staying in.
Though the place is kind of shabby, Cardo is grateful to have a place to stay. But not Alyana. She asks that they go back to Manila so she could return to her parents and her psyçhö illëgâl boyfriend. Cardo gives her the silent treatment so she heads into the hut and is upset to get no signal on her phone.
President Hidalgo arrives at the venue to a warm reception, flanked by William and Casillag. He proceeds to lead the newly elected senators in the oath-taking, just as Vice President Cabrera and Hipolito watch on TV at their camp.
The Vulture looks so sad at the sight. At the Arevalos, Teddy makes known to his wife his suspicion of the enemies of the Cabreras being behind their daughter’s disappearance.
Virgie hopes not. As if on cue, psyçhö Marco comes to see Teddy and Virgie. Teddy tells illëgâl would-be son-in-law that they don’t want their daughter to be involved in his father’s problems because he has lots of enemies.
Marco says he doesn’t think they’re behind it. Virgie asks of his opinion and the demented overgrown baby boy declares that Grandma Flora knows where Alyana is. Speaking of, Cardo asks Alyana for forgiveness but she just snaps at him and rants.
“Your life is in grave danger,” so says our favorite hero. “Marco Cabrera is a dangerous man.”
Alyana scoffs at that, saying that he can’t judge her illegal fiancé because of his family’s issues. “And you, what do you think of yourself? You think you’re a good person? Don’t you k!ll people for your beliefs too?”
Cardo seems evidently hurt and upset. “The people we k!ll are those we deem to be threats to our society,” he hisses. “Those who abuse and take advantage of innocent people. We don’t just k!ll certain people for no good reason.”
And with that, Cardo storms out of the hut. Caloy and his buddies are having a talk when Javier the gãñg leader and local troublemaker eyes our favorite hero’s car.
The guys talk about Javier’s obvious intentions and Caloy declares that the guy better watch out because Cardo can easily take him. As if on cue, Cardo comes over and the guys invite him for a drink.
Homer blows up a car outside the venue of the oath-taking and conveniently enough, he magically gets away without any civilians or officers spotting him. Crappy writing. Casillag finds a red banner with a V drawn on it. So lame.
Anyway, President Hidalgo decides to impose a news blackout amidst ongoing investigation lest the incident instill more fear in the people.
General Borja briefs the president about his investigation and tries to make him believe that the banner that had been found isn’t enough evidence that the Vendetta is actually responsible for the bömbing.
Some other officials object to it and Delfin makes the president see that according to investigations, the vigilantes have never meant to terrôrizë the people or overthrow the government. Oscar then reaffirms the news blackout.
President Hidalgo has a one-on-one talk with General Borja to establish his loyalty and fairness in the investigation despite his connection to Cardo. Speaking of, Cardo and his buddies witness the harassment of Javier and his gang and the guys brief our favorite hero about the ringleader.
At the Dalisays, Teddy and Virgie come to ask Grandma Flora about Alyana. Flora is bored when she sets eyes on psyçhö Marco. The overgrown baby boy demands to know where Alyana is and Teddy calls him to order. Flora reaffirms that Alyana isn’t there. Still, the demented guy accuses the older woman of hiding Alyana.
“Why on earth will I lie to you?”
“You’re Cardo’s grandma,” Marco points out. “I’m sure you want Cardo and Alyana to get back together.”
Grandma Flora is exasperated.
“So it’s possible that you’re trying to convince Alyana to break up with me,” psyçhö Marco concludes.
“Alright. I’m hoping the two will get back together once Cardo manages to properly clear his name.”
“Do you still believe that your tęrrôrist grandson is innocent?”
“Marco, that’s enough,” Teddy scolds.
Grandma Flora asks Marco to go and check all the rooms in the house and when Teddy says it’s not necessary, she kicks out the demented guy from her house. Teddy apologizes for the incident and Flora sympathizes with him and his wife.
While Venom celebrate the success of their job and look forward to making more money out of their tęrrôrism, the Dalisays discuss what Marco had displayed earlier.
As Flora worries about Alyana’s safety, Virgie nags her husband with her belief that Marco could have been right. Cardo hangs out with Caloy and the others and recounts how he had separated from his wife to seek justice for their mürderêr son, thereby neglecting said wife, only for her to fall in lövê with “a bad man”.
At the tenement, the girls tease Andi over her apparent feelings for Cardo and she gets upset for some reason and leaves. When her mother goes after her, Andi tells her that she’s just worried about our favorite. Her brother Peng sees through her lie.
Doray the motormouth brings Alyana some clothes and bothers her with endless nonsensical talk about her husband Caloy and her ex called James.
Cardo continues to hang out with the guys who promise to help him patch things with his wife. Over the phone, Grandma Flora cautions Teddy to be careful of Marco because she has a bad feeling about him.
Psyçhö Marco broods by himself. Man seems dazed. “You can’t get away from me, Alyana. You’re mine,” so says the psyçhö. “Wherever you’re hiding, I will find you. And if I find out that Dalisay’s family really is hiding you, they’ll all be sorry.” Spoken like madman that he is. Never disappoints.
President Hidalgo deliberates on the incident that occurred during the oath-taking. He suspects that it could be the doing of Lucas and Hipolito. William comes over and asks if he wants him to do something about the incident in question and Oscar dismisses him like a bad employee.
The traitorous special assistant soon meets up with his partners in crime to plan series of follow-up ãttaçks seemingly orchestrated by the Vendetta. Meanwhile, Oscar charges his family to remain in the Palace because of their current situation.
“Renato, you better talk to your men,” Lucas says.
“I already have,” Hipolito responds. “This time, they have to ãttaçk somewhere that’s more personal to our dear president.”
“Personal?” William asks. “What do you mean?”
“Just wait and see.”
