“Stop this car right now! Let me out or I’ll sue you for kidnãpping! So that’s it! You’re a full-blown criminal now!”
President Hidalgo deliberates on his suspicions of special assistant William. He deliberately orders him to get a brown envelope from his safe. When William proceeds to retrieve said envelope from the locked safe with ease, Oscar eyes him with even more suspicion.
At the tenement, Ramil and the others notify Miss Becky and the girls about Cardo’s personal mission, and they all hope that he would be able to reconcile with his wife. While Grandma Flora and her family discuss Cardo’s situation with Alyana and Marco, Teddy has a talk with his insufferable wife, expressing his reservation for Marco’s scandal-ridden family.
He suspects that the vice president could be involved in the recent mãssåcre of the officers and election officials and as usual, Virgie comes to the defense of the wretçhed Cabrera family.
Speaking of, the president lashes out at his vice on account of the very same matter. Lucas puts on such a pathetic act. “Like you Oscar, I’m saddened by the incident.”
President Hidalgo won’t be fooled. “Cut the crap. Drop the act, Lucas. Cause I know you’re involved somehow.”
Lucas takes offense at that and accuses the president of pinning the blame on him. “Where’s your evidence, then? Let’s see it.”
William makes the mistake of speaking up for the vice president and hints that the Vendetta could be behind everything like Lucas had said before.
“Stop trying to defend him!” Oscar yells at William. He then vows not to fall victim to propaganda. “I know what’s going on, and I’m going to make sure that whoever is responsible will pay for what they’ve done.”
Psyçhö Marco has dinner with Alyana at some restaurant in town as Cardo spies sadly. Later at the Palace, William tries to convince the president of his loyalty, just as Lucas and Hipolito talk over the recent turn of events and try to come up with a way to win back the favor of the president and the public.
While Marissa and her kids discuss what had gone down between their father and his vice recently, Lucas calls his wife to tell him of how the president had scolded and accused him like he was some impertinent brat.
Catherine then decides to reach out to Marissa. Meanwhile, her overgrown baby boy a.k.a psyçhö Marco hands Alyana a letter on the finalized annulment. Alyana is taken by surprise for a moment. She’s left emotional and dumbfounded when her illëgâl boyfriend proposes to her.
Our favorite hero continues to observe with such sorrow and despair as Alyana gladly accepts to be the wife of psyçhö Marco. She soon excuses herself to use the bathroom.
Meanwhile, Diana has a talk with Romulo, hoping that Cardo finally gets to reconcile with his wife. As soon as Alyana steps out of the washroom, she has the shock of her life to see her estranged husband.
At the table, Marco is getting impatient waiting for Alyana’s return, unknown to him that she’s been kidnäppęd by her own husband. At the Palace, Catherine tries to make Marissa believe that her husband (Oscar) has been treating hers unjustly.
“Oscar, he’s never interfered in the investigation of your husband,” Marissa notes.
“There are no cases against him at all,” Catherine argues. “He’s just being accused.”
“Then I think we all just need to trust the process.”
“Your husband is not the one whose reputation is being dragged through the mud.”
“But if your husband hasn’t done anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about,” Marissa reasons.
Catherine takes offense at that and accuses Marissa’s husband of trying to ruin Lucas’ reputation. Marissa begs to differ so Catherine storms off when she realizes that she can’t fool the 2nd Lady. Cardo continues to escape with Alyana on the road.
Back at the restaurant, Marco is evidently upset once he figures that Alyana has gone missing. Security show him CCTV footages but none had captured anything.
“Stop this car right now!” Alyana demands. “Let me out or I’ll sue you for kidnãpping!”
“I don’t care!” Cardo retorts. “I’m already a fugitive, remember?”
“So that’s it! You’re a full-blown criminal now!”
Despite Alyana’s resistance and protests, Cardo refuses to take her back or let her go. Marco informs the Arevalo couple about their daughter’s disappearance. He makes a lame promise to find her and bring her back home tonight.
At the Palace, Marissa informs her husband about her clash with Catherine earlier, and Oscar speculates that Catherine might be covering up for her husband’s crimes. Marissa can only hope that the accusations against Lucas doesn’t turn out to be true.
“All the evidence clearly incriminates Lucas, and his son Brandon,” Oscar points out.
Catherine notifies her husband about her failed attempt to convince the president to side with them. She worries about how they would save their reputation from total ruin and Lucas declares that he has a plan.
Venom return to their hideout in a very bad mood after failing to find the hideout of the Vendetta. Homer declares that they would never stop until they track them down and eliminate them.
Lucas, Hipolito and William plot to create terrific distractions and incriminate the Vendetta for the election anomalies as well as the abduction of Brother Lorenzo. Yolly, Paco and Elmo express their delight to have Dingding as their new competent captain.
Dingding asks if they were happy with the previous captain Gina and in such comical manner, the family in unison, reply in the negative. Captain Dingding then asks if there’s something she should know.
“Councilor Gina is the protector of all the gambling dens in our community,” Yolly reveals.
“All of the vendors are extorted by her,” Marikit chimes in.
Wally also has his say: “And all of the dental and medical projects she initiated, she was stealing funds from. That’s why the nickname we gave her was…”
“Captain Crook!” they all chorus.
While the Arevalo couple ponder over the reason for Alyana’s disappearance, psyçhö Marco pays the Dalisay family an unwelcomed visit. Grandma Flora keeps her annoyance in check as the demented overgrown baby boy interrogates her about Alyana.
Flora says she has no idea where Alyana is. She asks what’s going on and Marco claims it’s nothing. Hipolito orders Homer’s gang to instill fear in the general public. He gives the guys an advance payment and the Scorpion and his men are excited.
Anyway, psyçhö Marco calls his mother on phone to rant about Alyana’s disappearance. At home, Flora looks on silently as the others excitedly discuss the possible reason for Alyana disappearing on Marco.
Cardo drives Alyana to the place of an old comrade of his from SAF. His buddies at the tenement discuss his situation, with Greco fearing that he might decide not to come back to them once he finally gets back together with his wife.
General Olegario is however confident that Cardo would soldier on and continue the fight. Ramil seconds her as he declares that Cardo always keeps his promises. Our favorite hero arrives at Santo Niño and manage to track down the house of Caloy, his comrade from SAF.
Caloy gladly receives him and Alyana and he welcomes them into his home. His son can’t seem to take his eyes off Alyana. Cardo asks Caloy to let them stay with him for a while and Alyana shôòts him an annoyed look.
Since there’s no spare room, Caloy suggests that they both stay in the hut outback since they’re married. Alyana makes a face. “Us, married?” She turns to our favorite hero to spite him. “We were.” Cardo looks on silently and somewhat defeated. https://youtu.be/rAqeylVNFYg
