“The councilor of our town really is the best. You know what else he’s good at? Committing rãpë. And taking videos of the rãpë.”
Rica notes the peculiar fact of how Kyle and Axel are both into motorbikes. She also states that if her mother hadn’t stopped her dad from teaching her how to ride way back in high school, she would have been better than them (Kyle and Axel).
In no time, Rica gets onboard the motorbike and Axel teaches her the basics.
When it gets to the actual moving part, she falls off the motorbike a couple of times. Axel is concerned but she just laughs it off and gladly tries one more time. During dinner at the Ramones mansion, Troy reflects on that fateful encounter with Bong Tupas.
Bobby asks his father to have a party thrown for Jigs to celebrate their victory. Alberto eyes Troy who seems to be in deep thoughts. Jigs is against his father’s idea since he fears that the public might make an issue out of it.
Bobby then suggests that they do it after the acquittal. Troy reflects on his conversation with Laura after he had almost k!lled Tupas. Bobby makes deliberate attempts to provoke him by badmouthing Rica.
Troy recalls when Rica had told him that he could never side with her because his own political record is more important to him than her. To the surprise of everyone, Troy bursts out laughing, saying that “they were right after all”.
Karla asks Rica about Ella but Rica merely asks her to stop pushing and accept the situation since she wouldn’t be pursuing the case any longer. Meanwhile, Kyle lashes out at Axel for letting Rica use his bike after everything she’s been through. Axel tells him that Rica is alright but Kyle won’t be swayed.
“Just because she’s not crying or talking about her struggles doesn’t mean she’s not okay,” Axel states.
“And just because she acts tough doesn’t really mean that she’s okay,” Kyle retorts.
Axel asks Kyle to stop overreacting and acting like he’s the only one who knows what’s best for Rica. An exchange of words ensue and when Axel states that Kyle isn’t Rica’s keeper, Kyle asks what he is to Rica and why he’s so concerned about her. Axel evades the question and tells him that he’s obviously jealous.
Bea struggles to write an honest review of the tasteless cheesecake, and Pogs and Nico tease her. Pogs narrates how Bea had almost thrown up after tasting the cheesecake yesterday, as well as how she had been forced to swallow.
Bea fumes as she recalls the incident at the café. To spite Pogs and Nico, she shows them a video review she had already done on the cheesecake with Brax.
Pogs looks on, defeated and dejected. He asks Bea why she has to do another review and she tells him that she wants Brax to fall more in lövê with her. Pogs objects to it, saying that it can’t happen. Bea grabs her stuff and off she goes. Pogs goes after her as Nico looks on.
Nico sighs as he witnesses how Pogs struggles to get through to his sister. “That’s why I don’t ever wanna fall in löve.”
Audrey makes deliberate attempts to talk her daughter out of coming home. Though Raven points out that the doctor wouldn’t have given her clearance if she thought she couldn’t handle it, Audrey rambles about the things that could trigger her and Raven sees through her act and realizes that her mother doesn’t want her to come home yet. Audrey argues that she’s just worried about her.
Raven asks about her father and Audrey tells her that he’s been acting strange ever since the hearing. A moment later after her mother has left, Raven runs into her father at the rehab center.
At Balai Arkitektura, Kyle shadows Rica as she steals her way through the office and right to the pantry. When she gets there, she stretches out her neck to see if someone is in there.
“What the heck am I doing?” Rica says to herself.
“I’m asking myself the same question,” Kyle states.
Rica turns to her boss who brings up last night’s appointment before assuring her that he’s not offended that she had chosen a motorbike over him. Chino arrives with Axel and deliberately keeps him from interfering. At the Sicats, Karla and Dan have a talk about the recent happenings and how they seem not to agree on things anymore.
Kyle steps toward Rica and he’s shocked when Rica takes a step back away from him. When he steps back in disbelief, Rica steps forward and admits that she doesn’t feel comfortable with him anymore.
Kyle hasn’t recovered from the shock yet. “You don’t? But why?”
“Because you’re like a mirror,” Rica responds.
“A mirror?”
“Whenever I talk to you, I see a reflection of myself. And it’s clear. It’s way too clear.”
“Don’t you like that?” Kyle merely asks.
“If you look at a clear reflection of yourself, you can see everything, including your faults.”
“Then why can’t I keep my eyes off you?”
Kyle and Rica stare at each other for a while before Axel comes to interrupt. For payment of the motorcycle lessons, he has Rica help him with some report. Kyle shoots his buddy a subtle dëāth glare.
During lunch break in school, Bea hangs out with Brax and as she tries to feed him some of her french fries, Pogs deliberately intrudes and sits between them. Pogs takes Bea’s fries and begins eating them himself, eyeing Brax and ignoring Bea’s protest.
During a meeting at BA, Kyle engages Axel in a heated exchange of words over the decision of some client of theirs. Kyle isn’t happy that the clients had made decisions that would cost them so much but Axel says there’s nothing they can do about it.
“It’s for their own good,” Kyle argues. “What part of that don’t you understand?”
“And why can’t you understand that people are capable of making decisions and that’s beyond your control,” Axel argues. “Stop acting like a freaking savior all the time!”
“I’m not acting like…”
Miss May butts in and asks if they’re still talking about the project since they’re getting too intense. Rica is left taking turns glancing at her bosses in confusion. Back in school, Pogs continues to frustrate Bea as Brax invites her to an upcoming shoot at his sister’s café.
It’s ironic how Pogs keeps getting in the way so Bea and Brax don’t see each other’s faces, talk less of physical contact. Meanwhile, Archie has gotten himself drunk and he stumbles into the city hall to make mockery of Jigs in front of some workers.
“The councilor of our town really is the best,” Archie jeers. “You know what else he’s good at? Committing rãpë. And taking videos of the rãpę.”
Jigs trivializes the matter and runs off the workers before roughing up Archie, who continues to taunt him. He demands that Archie shouldn’t approach him again in public, but Archie is relentless as he continues mocking Jigs.
Archie vows to make Jigs misërãble for as long as he is and suspecting that Ella has left him again, Jigs makes mockery of him for change. Ella is indecisive as to whether to tell Rica everything she knows. Since Rica hadn’t shown for her session with her doctor, she decides to leave right away with her mother. Karla spies.
At BA, Chino confronts Axel about the altercation with Kyle earlier, just as Rose reaches out to Kyle. Rica receives a text message from Troy, telling her that he would try to be a real father to her from now on.
Archie stands outside the Montecillo house, shouting and begging for Ella to listen to him and forgive him. Inside, Cecilia worries that their neighbors might start complaining if it keeps on. Ella admits that a part of him wants to keep hearing Archie’s cries.
She worries that when the noise suddenly stops, it might mean that he’s given up and she wouldn’t get to hear his voice again. Archie pleads some more and promises to explain things. After a while, the shouting stops so Ella hurries outside, and she finds no one there. Only Karla.
