“Director Renato Hipolito received the lowest number of votes and has lost the senatorial race. We accomplished our mission. Long live Vendetta!”
Vice President Cabrera assures Brandon that he would be getting out of prison soon. Marco makes a surprise appearance to check up on his brother. Captain Gina is confident of winning in the election, having worn all her lucky charms.
She proceeds to vote as Grandma Flora and her family observe from the outside, with most of them hoping that she loses. The lackeys of Gina also cast their votes. Miss Becky, Andi and the other girls also vote at a different school. Venom watch a news report of the election and Roldan presses for the group to join the fun and vote for Hipolito.
Mando makes a joke of Hipolito losing the election much to the disbelief of Bubbles. Nevertheless, Homer believes that Hipolito would figure something out since he’s buddies with the vice president.
As Cardo and his comrades survey the school, George points out some suspicious men attempting to buy votes for Hipolito. Speaking of, the Vulture has been ditched by his supporters because of the tampered voting machines he had been involved in.
Back at the school, the goons bribe another man to vote for Hipolito, only for the man to report them to some officers. When confronted, the goons try denying it and when that doesn’t seem to work, they attempt to flee. Cardo’s group watch as the officers capture the goons.
“We can go now,” declares our favorite hero. “I think we’re done for the day.”
Hipolito happily casts his vote and when confronted by the media regarding the tampered voting machines, he plays dumb and professes that he had absolutely nothing to do with it. President Hidalgo and his family arrive at another school to cast their votes, just as Lucas and his family also cast their votes somewhere else.
President Hidalgo is asked for comments about the tampered voting machines and he assures the public that the election will be a free and fair one. Vice President Cabrera is questioned by the media regarding the allegations against him and his party. Lucas merely says there’s no evidence proving that he’s involved in the tampering of the voting machines.
When asked about the planted results, Marco butts in to come to his father’s defense. Meanwhile, the president is asked for comments about the allegations against his VP, and Oscar announces that if it can be proven the vice president and his party are guilty, then he would be siding with the law and not their friendship.
After witnessing Gido and his buddies bribing some people to vote for Captain Gina, Paco decides to go undercover to get some evidence. He’s approached by the guys who try but fail to convince him to vote for Gina. Gido slips his hand into his pocket but before he can bring out some bribe money, Paco sneezes and his wig falls off, blowing his cover.
Wally and Elmo join Paco to confront Gido and Nick for bribing people to vote for Captain Gina. Things get heated up and the guys are kicked out of the school. While the president is informed of the vote buyers that had been arrested, the Vendetta and their allies talk about how peaceful the election has been.
“This election was the most peaceful so far,” Andi notes.
“We owe all of this to the Vendetta,” Miss Becky adds.
“It’s not just us,” Cardo says. “All of us worked together to have a conflict-free election.”
The Arevalos watch how Marco had defended his father on TV and Virgie feels sorry for him on account of the situation he’s in. Once the Cabreras get home, Lucas thanks Marco for having his back and the psyçhö tells him that he hopes he can also support his relationship with Alyana.
Cardo fears that their enemies might find another way to rig the election results. Romulo assures him that the results will reflect the will of the people. The unofficial results from Luzon comes on TV.
Brandon has scored the least number of votes as compared to the other candidates. For Hipolito, he’s at rock-bottom and carrying the entire election, and the Vendetta can’t help but to laugh at that.
“…all the senatorial candidates currently in the lead are from the same party,” notes the newscaster. “No one from Vice President Cabrera’s camp has managed to enter the top 12. Meanwhile, Director Renato Hipolito received the lowest number of votes among all senatorial candidates.”
Hipolito watches the news at his campaign headquarters, and man doesn’t look happy one bit. The Vendetta celebrate the success of their mission, with Cardo hoping that the votes translate into lasting change. While Gido and Nick report back to Captain Gina, Grandma Flora scolds Paco and the others for causing trouble at the voting center.
Homer couldn’t care less if Hipolito wins the election or not. Though the guys fear what could become of them if their boss doesn’t assume a position of power, all Homer looks forward to is getting the Vulture’s assistance to settle the score with Romulo and Cardo. The tally of votes has now been made official and Hipolito and the Vendetta watch a news report on it.
“…former NDA Director Renato Hipolito who topped the survey during the start of the campaign season plummeted to number 17 and has lost the senatorial race.”
“Yeah!!!” shouts the members of the Vendetta in unison.
Cardo and his comrades celebrate the victory. “We accomplished our mission.”
Catherine tries to cheer up her husband but man is he so upset at losing so much that he slams a glass on the floor and demands to be left alone. Such childish behavior. What a sour loser. Back at the hideout, the girls join the Vendetta in celebrating some more. General Olegario thanks them, stating that they had all done their part to serve their country.
“Long live Vendetta!” Cardo calls out.
“Long live!” responds the others.
“Vendetta!”
“Long live!”
Hipolito is in a very bad mood so he decides to unleash his anger on his campaign banner, tearing the poor thing down in a fit of rage. Meanwhile, Marco is having dinner with Alyana at a restaurant somewhere when some guys begin badmouthing his father the vice president, branding him as the most corrupt of all the crooks.
Alyana calms down her illëgâl psyçhö boyfriend and the guys up their game and provoke him some more, calling Alyana “the wife of a terrorist”. Psyçhö Marco snaps and goes at them. He only manages to throw just one punch before he literally gets his ass kicked.
Having no shame after literally carrying the election on his back, Hipolito addresses the media and since he has nothing better to do, he resumes with badmouthing the Vendetta and dares them to come after him. The Vulture has no clue that the vigilantes are actually making fun of him as he speaks.
“Now is the perfect opportunity to take action and go after Hipolito,” Diana states.
“The General is right,” Romulo agrees. “Our mission isn’t over yet. It’s now time to make him pay.”
Lucas apologizes to his wife for his outburst earlier and Catherine assures him that she and his sons are always ready to support him. She urges him to go and rekindle his friendship with the president.
Menchu overhears and later questions Catherine about the allegations against Lucas and Brandon, asking if there’s any truth to them. Catherine rants and evades the question.
President Hidalgo and his wife deliberate on how their kids have been asking questions about Lucas. Oscar plans to distant their family from Lucas and Catherine and Marissa asks if he really believes that Lucas and Brandon are guilty.
Meanwhile, Hipolito gets into his car and as a banner of his is being taken down, he reflects on how he had initially been hailed by the people during the campaign season. He then recalls how Lucas had assured him that they would win the election no matter what.
