“I’ll make you suffer. Before I finally defeat King Lucas, I have to capture Queen Vanessa first. And that will weaken their game and make them more vulnerable.”
The episode starts with the doctor telling Vanessa and Lucas about Miguel’s condition. He told them it wasn’t a serious injury and only needs a few stitches and will be alright. Adrian enquired about Miguel and Vanessa told him about his condition.
Lucas questioned his son about hurting his cousin and Rachel told him they argued because Adrian thought Miguel and Lena had a thing. Vanessa puts all the blame on Lena.
Jordan wanted to stay the night at Lena’s because he’s worried the incident that happened might happen again but she insists he leaves and assured him she’s going to be fine as she’s already taken precautions.
Meanwhile, Rachel wanted to know if it’s really true that Miguel and Jordan fought about Lena but Miguel told her Lena has got nothing to do with his fight with Adrian. Rachel didn’t buy what he said and accuses Miguel of defending Lena.
She told him that Lena will not be a problem to them anymore because Lucas was so furious and told everyone he’ll get rid of Lena himself. Speaking of, Lena who thought Jordan came back opened the door only to find Lucas in front of her. She asked why he’s there and he said he wants to talk.
Lena tried to close the door but Lucas pushed her and made his way inside her room. She asked him to leave or she’ll call the cops but he told her to be scared of him. He said she went against his business and he can let that slide but ruining his family and making a fòöl out of his son, that he won’t take sitting down.
Lucas gave her a cheque of 10 million to leave Salvacion and Lena reminded him of rejecting his money before when he tried to buy her soap formula and asked him why she would accept his money after everything he’s done to her in the past.
Lucas asked how much she needs for all the troubles he’s caused and she said no amount of money can pay for the lives of her grandpa and her child, unless he pays with his own life.
Lena called Lucas a sore loser and told him that despite the attempts he did on both her and Ramona, they’re still there and will continue fighting him. Lucas pushed her and started strangling her, telling her to leave his family alone. Miguel later arrived and saved Lena from Lucas.
Lucas was arrested for the assaulting Lena and was told he can’t post bill at the moment. He asked for Conrad’s help but Conrad helplessly told him they’ll have to follow the protocol.
Lucas got mad because he’ll be spending the night in jail. Rachel confronted Lena and accused her of being the reason behind her family’s mess. Miguel tried to stop her and she told him to defend his mistress.
Lena told her she’s not interested in Miguel. She admits her relationship with Adrian but said she’ll never be with Miguel even in her worst nightmare. She said to Rachel she can have her husband all to herself, she has her own life so Rachel should stop dragging her (Lena) into hers.
Lucas is very upset when his family fails to him out on bail. He calls them all useless and got furious because he’s Lucas Narciso yet is going to spend the night in jail. Vanessa asked him to blame Lena because she filed the complaint and Lucas said if she wants a fight, then they’ll give her a fight.
Miguel came to Lena and apologized for what Lucas and Rachel did. Lena cried over the injustice that she’s been getting from his family and Miguel hugged her to console her. She smirk and said to herself.
“Go ahead, Miguel,” Lena jeers silently. “Feel sorry for me so that you’ll easily let your guard down and soon enough, you fall for me. I’ll make you suffer, I’ll make you feel the pain that you put me through.”
Kiko told his family about Lucas getting bail because there wasn’t any concrete evidence against him. Betchay asked why Lucas would confront Lena in the first place and Kiko said because they’re accusing Lena of having an affair with Miguel but Jordan said that’s not true.
Seeing what she’s getting herself into, Kiko hoped Lena will relocate to somewhere else and stay away from Lucas because people like Lucas never backed down. Lena amazes everyone at the dining table as she laughs over what had happened last night, particularly the prison experience of Lucas.
Ramona makes mockery of Lucas as well, saying that he would eventually experience what she had gone through for 20 years. Lena is confident that Lucas would experience that kind of hell for the rest of his life. She then goes on about how she would crush Miguel once she makes him fall in lövê with her.
“If this were a game of chess,” Martina begins. “That will probably be a checkmate.”

Rachelle nags Miguel about the incident that had occurred at the police station, upset that Lena hadn’t been thrown into jail. Miguel asks her to cut the crap because he’s exhausted and starving.
When he finds no food in the refrigerator, Rachelle resumes with her nagging. Miguel lashes out at her and points out the fact that everything that had happened with Lucas was her fault. He then storms out of the house to find someone who could give him some food.
Lucas apologizes to Vanessa for hurting her the other night and promises not to do that again. He thanks her for arranging his quick release. As Vanessa hugs her husband, she receives a photo from Lena with a caption asking if Adrian knows who his real father is.
She gets all nervous and has her husband get her some pain relievers. Once Lucas is out of sight, Vanessa lashes out at Lena over the phone. Lucas comes upon the scene and questions her, and she comes up with a cover-up story.
Rachelle apologizes to Miguel for everything that had happened. She says she didn’t mean to get jealous and get their families involved, adding that she felt threatened and insecure. Miguel asks what he has to do to make her feel secure and Rachelle assures him that she believes him now.
She then promises to make it up to him. The next morning at Royal Wellness, Lucas confronts Conrad on account of his hesitance to get him out of jail last night. Conrad tries to do damage control with a little bit of sweet-talking and a promise to manipulate the stocks in favor of Royal Wellness.
Lucas says he should just save it for later. Enter Rachelle who comes to apologize to her uncle for getting her into trouble. Surprisingly, Lucas sympathizes with her, saying that feeling betrayed is the worst feeling for a wife or a husband.
“It makes you go berserk. It drives you out of your mind.” Lucas pauses to eye Conrad for a while. “Right, Conrad?”
Rachelle thanks Lucas for understanding her. A moment later, Vanessa slips into her office with Conrad to notify him of the stunt Lena had pulled last night. She fears that Lena might expose them to Lucas when she gets the chance and Conrad assures her that he would take care of the matter.
And what’s his plan? To manipulate their target with sympathy. In no time, he meets up with Lena and pleads with her to forget about her problems with Vanessa.
Lena makes mockery of Conrad and points out that he hadn’t spared her the slightest shred of sympathy when she was still at rock bottom. She accuses Conrad of being the accomplice of the Narcisos and enabling them in committing all their crimes, branding him as despicable as they are.
A few more choice words are exchanged and Conrad gets upset and almost slãps Lena when she calls him a corrupt official. Lena taunts him some more and dares him as some citizens observe.
Following all the trouble with him and his company, Lucas asks Adrian to do his job well and stop seeing ‘that woman’. Adrian assures him of his obedience so Lucas pour him a glass of wine. When Adrian thanks his father for giving him a second chance, Lucas declares that he’s his only son, his own flesh and blood. Vanessa seems uneasy.
Anyway, Kiko and Digna offer to officially adopt Rambo into their family and the boy is all excited about it. Meanwhile, Adrian asks his father to reinstate him as the vice president once his idea causes a rise in their stock prices.
“We can’t demote Miguel without a valid reason,” Vanessa points out.
“Don’t worry,” Adrian merely says. “Just wait. Miguel will soon give us a reason.”
Lucas and Vanessa walk out of the office and Adrian declares that Miguel would give them a reason once Lena succeeds in ruining his life.
