“This was a dumping ground for múrdęr victims. And a hotspot for illegal drüg transactions. So I’m pretty sure their group took the voting machines here to tamper with them.”
First Lady Marissa Hidalgo sends her kids off after they run into Vice President Cabrera at the Palace. Lucas hopes they can still remain friends despite the damaging news reports about him.
Marissa merely says that he has nothing to worry about if Brandon is really innocent of Brother Lorenzo’s kidnãpping. At the Dalisays, Grandma Flora and her family discuss the duties of poll watchers.
The members of the Vendetta find a perfect spot to hide the stolen vehicles. A number of them reflect on their days in the mountains and Romulo declares that they would go back there after they finish their mission and gotten rid of Director Hipolito.
William dreads breaking into the president’s safe to steal his flash drive so Lucas uses blackmail to motivate him.
While the Vendetta deliberate on how they would protect the voting machines for the upcoming elections, William sneaks into the president’s office and successfully steals the flash drive.
When Oscar finds him in his office, William uses a cunning trick to avoid suspicion and he slips the drive into his pocket when no one’s looking. News of the automated voting machines and the security measure comes on TV so Lucas calls William, who tells him that he now has both the source code and the flash drive.
Lucas then charges him to make sure that everything goes according to plan. Hipolito is all for the supposed brilliant idea as he believes that all their candidates would win in the election.
The rotten Congressman Brandon is eager to get out of confinement at CIDG headquarters so his lawyer makes a lame promise to make it appear that the authorities had planted the evidence against him.
Somewhere in town, George notifies Cardo that the trucks carrying the voting machines had already left at dawn. Meanwhile, William contacts tech specialist Bermudez on phone.
“I’m here now,” Bermudez says, walking around a warehouse.
“You know what to do then,” William intones.
”Yes, sir. The counting machines aren’t here yet.”
“They’re en route. Just wait there.”
Cardo relays the info he’s learned to his comrades and since General Olegario still remembers the exact delivery points for the voting machines, the group decide to go there in order to ensure the security of the machines so Hipolito won’t be able to cheat.
As the delivery trucks are still en route, Alyana receives a phone call from a supervisor from a company she had applied at before. She’s excited to learn that she’s been hired until she figures out that it’s all psyçhö Marco’s doing.
Alyana discusses the matter with her parents and as expected, Virgie blindly continues to support her daughter’s illëgâl boyfriend. To more important matters, the Vendetta break into three different groups to survey the schools where the voting would be held.
Our favorite hero sends Earthworm and Tadpole to sneak inside one of the the schools and find out whether the voting machines had been delivered properly. The guys eavesdrop on a conversation between some poll watchers and they soon report back to Cardo, telling him that the voting machines haven’t been delivered yet.
Tadpole notes that it’s the first time there’s been a major delay. Cardo radios General Olegario’s group and learns that it’s the same situation at her side. Anton’s isn’t any different.
Meanwhile, the delivery trucks are ambushed and hijacked by William and his goons who mercilessly mãssåcre all the officers and soldiers escorting them. William puts Bermudez straight to work right after the voting machines are unloaded at the warehouse.
Catherine calls Alyana on phone and tries to talk her into coming to see her demėnted son. She goes on about how her baby boy is affected by what their family is going through.
She pleads with her to see Marco but Alyana turns her down and apologizes before hanging up. Leave it to her irritating unreasonable mother to try to convince her to go and see her illëgâl boyfriend.
“No matter how many times you people ask, you’ll never get the answers you want from me,” Brandon declares.
Flanked by team Billy in the interrogation room, General Borja makes a face. “The answers we want from you?”
“You want to prove I’m guilty. But I have done nothing wrong.”
“We’re just wondering why you were so willing to risk your freedom for Renato Hipolito,” Delfin remarks. “He’s the one we’re after, because he has done a lot of things that he needs to pay for.”
“You don’t have any evidence,” Brandon jeers.
General Borja isn’t fazed. “Even though your father is the vice president of the Philippines, you are not in the power to twist the truth to your favor.”
Hipolito gloats over his true plans to beat Lucas to the presidency. He’s confident that he and the Cabreras would come out on the very top no matter who the people vote for. Later that night, the members of the Vendetta regroup to make their next move.
While Bermudez is still working on the voting machines, Cardo and his comrades decide to survey the area they suspect the voting machines had been taken to. As Bermudez works to rig the voting machines, General Olegario asks if anyone is familiar with the area marked out on the map she’s carrying.
“I know this place,” Cardo declares. “When I was still an officer, this was a dumping ground for múrdęr victims. And a hotspot for illëgâl drug transactions. So I’m pretty sure their group took the voting machines here…to tamper with them.”
The Vendetta break into three groups again to observe the three main thoroughfares the trucks would pass through. Meanwhile, Bermudez hands William the flash drive, telling him that he’s already encoded the results he wants.
To show his utmost appreciation, William executes the IT specialist right at the spot. Miserable guy didn’t even get to enjoy the fruits of his labor.
Psyçhö Marco has gotten himself drunk stüpïd and locked himself up in his room. Catherine’s attempts to reason with him falls on deaf ears. News of the delay of the delivery of the automated voting machines goes national. The president watches the report and soon receives a phone call from William.
He asks his treacherous assistant about the news and William claims that one of the voting machines containers had broken down along the way. William assures Oscar that the machines would arrive in their respective precincts by tonight.
Once off the phone, he orders his men to load up all the voting machines, just as the Vendetta lie in wait at the three vantage points. Pilo urges Homer to break ties with Hipolito and the vice president, fearing that their downfall might lead to the ruin of their group. Homer is amused.
“Of all my plans, this might be my riskiest yet,” Lucas says to his partner in crime. “I’m glad we’re almost done.”
“Thank you for taking the risk, Mr. Vice President,” Hipolito says. “I promise you won’t regret giving me a seat in the senate, because I will return the favor.”
Lucas makes a toast with Hipolito. “I’ll hold you to that, Renato.”
Bubbles spies on Venom as Homer vows not to waste the opportunity when Hipolito becomes Senator tomorrow and finds a way to get Brandon out of jail.
While Catherine is ranting about her son’s misërãble life, Alyana suddenly shows up and she gladly receives her and takes her upstairs. Catherine makes a futile attempt to make Marco open the door so she sends Menchu to get the spare key.
Psyçhö Marco empties a bottle of pills into his hand and we’re all disappointed when Catherine manages to get in just in time to stop him from swallowing the whole damn thing. Alyana looks on misërãbly at the miserable condition of her illegal boyfriend.
Meanwhile, Cardo and his group are on high alert, waiting by one of the thoroughfares. Earthworm and Tadpole decide to step out of the car to get some fresh air.
As William is on his way to return the flash drive, the hijackers come upon a checkpoint and acting on the orders of their boss, they güñ down all the police and soldiers in their way. Upon noticing the scene from a distant, Earthworm and Tadpole hurry back to notify our favorite hero.
After the trucks have passed, Cardo tails them as he radios the others to alert them. General Olegario and Aton’s groups join the fun, just as Cardo puts on his signature scowl as he drives. The chase is on.
