“He’s a fîlthy liar. How can he even utter all those lies with a straight face? He’s despiçable, and he’s already got a place in hęll. We are not giving up. Always keep in mind – nothing is impossible.”
Bubbles is worried about the huge mess her lôver boy had gotten himself in with the prominent pastor. She fears that he would be caught when the authorities start hunting him down, and Homer gloats over the fact that he and his guys have never been caught despite being wanted men. Meanwhile, Brandon plots with his father to beãt Brother Lorenzo into submission and then get rid of him soon after.
Hipolito lashes out at Venom for recklessly shöôting people inside a church. Homer argues that Alano might have ruined his reputation all the more if they hadn’t acted. When Hipolito asks of his whereabouts, Homer reveals that they turned him over to Congressman Brandon. While Lorenzo takes some beatings at the congressman’s house, the members of Vendetta plot to track down his location and rescue him.
Vice President Cabrera makes a public statement in front of the press to clear all allegations being thrown at him and his family. He claims that everything Brother Lorenzo had said were nothing but lies.
He then reveals how the revered pastor had supposedly contacted him and offered to help his entire political party win the elections as long as he and a number of his followers were given positions in the government.
As Lucas continues spewing his absurd lies on national television, Hipolito watches with delight and schemes to use him to get to the presidency. Cardo and his comrades watch the live broadcast at their hideout, just as the president does same at the Palace. Oscar takes Lucas’ claims with a grain of salt and as expected, William attempts to abate his suspicions.
“He’s a fîlthy liar,” one girl says back at the tenement.
“How can he even utter all those lies with a straight face?” another asks.
“He’s despiçable, and he’s already got a place in hęll.”
Romulo states that the villains will keep at it until they’re finally able to break Brother Lorenzo. On that account, the group plan to find out where he’s being kept so they could rescue him. The CIDG discuss the current situation on ground.
The guys are frustrated over the lack of evidence against Hipolito, Lucas and Brandon, though they take comfort in the fact that they can arrest Homer once they find Brother Lorenzo.
Lucas faces the president after his press conference. Oscar asks if he had really been telling the truth and the VP evades the question and blabbers about how he supposedly looks forward to the truth coming out. In no time, Lucas meets up with his partners in crime to celebrate and scheme some more. Lucas plots to incriminate the Vendetta for Brother Lorenzo’s kidnãpping.
Cardo and his comrades decide to go to Hipolito’s upcoming campaign meeting in hopes of getting information on the pastor’s whereabouts. Speaking of, Brother Lorenzo refuses to give into the demands of Brandon despite his unending threats and törture.
Oscar has a talk with his wife about Lorenzo, with both of them hoping that whoever had abducted him would be caught and punished. The next morning, while Vice President Cabrera hypes up Hipolito for his speech, Cardo, Romulo, Diana and the others blend into the crowd to observe.
Suddenly, Victoria shows up and makes a scene by calling him a liar and demanding for her husband’s return. Lucas plays dumb and actually promises to go and rescue Lorenzo himself if he finds out where his abductors took him.
“How dare you lie to the public, Vice President Cabrera?!” Victoria bellows with contempt. “You are nothing but a liar!”
President Hidalgo watches the incident on live television and he’s shocked and convinced that Victoria is in the right. He asks of William’s opinion, and the traitorous guy tries to make him believe that the vice president isn’t capable of doing the things he’s been accused of. However, Oscar notes that he knows Lucas is capable of doing anything just to get what he wants.
George spies on Lucas as he orders his son over the phone to quickly deal with Brother Lorenzo before his followers start causing them trouble. A moment later, the Vendetta regroup with their allies to share intel and George reveals what he had heard earlier. The Vendetta then part ways with Andi and the Flower Power Girls to tail the vice president.
Marco waits up for Alyana to have dinner with her. Once Mrs. Dalisay shows, she makes clear her intention of ending their relationship because of how much he’s changed. Psyçhö Marco makes futile, pathetic attempts to talk her out of her decision.
Meanwhile, the Vendetta tail the vice president to his office. They’re parked a safe distance away and Tadpole mentions that they would have a hard time sneaking in because of the tight security.
“We are not giving up,” Cardo declares. “Always keep in mind – nothing is impossible.”
On our favorite hero’s signal, George slips out of the car and slithers his way into the VP’s office building. He collides with a worker there and resolves to steal a booklet before slipping away and regrouping with his comrades. The political parties of President Hidalgo and Vice President Lucas have separate meetings and discussions about the recent happenings.
Oscar’s party is confident that Lucas’ would definitely lose a lot of their supporters on account of the scandals they’re involved in. Oscar says it isn’t right to take pleasure in the misery of other people.
Meanwhile, the other party is eager to drop Hipolito since he’s the main cause of their troubles. However, Lucas declares that they won’t kick Hipolito out of the party, adding that they still have a chance to win as long as the elections hasn’t started.
Psyçhö Marco is miserable over Alyana’s decision to break up with him. As Menchu strives to calm him down, he cries for a little bit before practically exploding and throwing things around the room, all should screaming, – “she doesn’t lövê me anymore!” Exhausted from his childish tantrum, Marco sinks to the floor, crying and screaming some more. If mädnêss had a face.
Anyway, Menchu coos and soothes him like the overgrown baby boy he is.The members of Vendetta deliberate on Brandon’s upcoming party and they eventually decide not to go there since it could be dangerous for them with all the officials that would be in attendance.
At Camp Crame, General Borja does another fruitless interrogation on Hipolito. After gloating over the lack of evidence, the Vulture encounters Victoria and a number of Brother Lorenzo’s followers who press for him to give up their leader’s location.
As expected, Hipolito plays dumb and the group protest loudly. Cue in General Borja to restore order. Captain Gina is miserable upon learning that she’s moved from the number 9 to the 12th position in the survey.
Following a news report on Brother Lorenzo’s abduction, she tells her minions that she’s found a way to finally win in the elections. At the Dalisays, Grandma Flora and Marikit also watch the news report, and the latter notes that the candidates involved don’t deserve to win the elections.
“Exactly,” Flora agrees. “If they do win the elections, their lies will still be uncovered. No matter what they do, the truth will always reveal itself.”
Cardo briefs Andi, Miss Becky and the Flower Power Girls about the congressman’s upcoming birthday party. Since the vigilantes can’t just go barging in to gather information on Brother Lorenzo’s whereabouts, the girls offer to go.
Marco goes to see his father at his office to sympathize with him on his miseries, only to be told to stop pursuing the wife of our favorite hero. While Genera Borja visits the president to brief him about the ongoing case, Hipolito hopes to find a way to restore his ‘good’ reputation.
He tells Homer and his guys that if he loses in the elections, then they would have to go back to the mountains where they came from. Venom isn’t happy. Back at the Palace, Delfin makes known to Oscar Homer’s connection to Hipolito.
“What reason will director Hipolito have to help out those tęrrôrists?” Oscar asks in disbelief.
General Borja exchanges a look with Billy. “Because Renato Hipolito…was a former member of the Bloody Sun.”
President Hidalgo is stunned.
