Homer’s gãñg are excited with the bonus they’ve received from Hipolito, and they take delight in having the vice president as their ally. Meanwhile, the Alano family eagerly push for Lorenzo to give into the demands of Venom. The pastor is reluctant as he sees the perilous situation as nothing but a test of faith.
At Barangay 628, Wally returns home and resolves to deceive his family when they ask what he’s been up to. Alyana shows up and the kids welcome her excitedly before she goes to hug Wally.
The Vendetta deliberate on the best way to deal with Congressman Cabrera and despite the reservation of a few, Cardo states that they can’t afford to act recklessly until they’ve gathered necessary intelligence on the congressman.
Anton seconds him and they begin discussing the possibility of the vice president being in cahoots with Brandon and Hipolito. Speaking of, the corrupt trio meet up and Hipolito assures his partners in crime that his men have sent a clear message to Alano.
Wally relays to Alyana how Cardo and the Vendetta rescued him and his coworkers. He then assures her that all the negative things she hears about them are nothing but fake news. Alyana asks how Cardo is doing and Wally says he misses them all, especially her.
Meanwhile, the lawyer informs Marco that the court have already issued a summons to compel the respondent (Cardo) to file an answer within 15 days before the hearing. Psyçhö Marco is glad with the news.
Alyana wraps up her visit and she’s given some takeaways for her parents. Paco and the others begin teasing her over how she seems to miss Cardo. On her way home, she receives a phone call from her illëgâl boyfriend who asks where she is and urges that they meet up.
Alyana lies through her teeth and claims that she’s going somewhere with her mother. Psyçhö Marco pulls over nearby after Alyana has left the area. “I know that you’ve gone to Cardo’s house,” psyçhö Marco thinks to himself. “You’re a liar, Alyana. You think you can fool me? No matter what you do, you will never be anybody else’s.
Brother Lorenzo calls to invite some media friends of his to attend the event for the special announcement he would be giving tomorrow. Once off the phone, Victoria asks if he’s sure about his decision and Lorenzo reminds her of how they always preach to their followers to do what is right regardless of the circumstances. Victoria fears for their family’s safety and Lorenzo assures her that their faith will never abandon them.
Homer confidently looks forward to earning millions tomorrow since he believes that Brother Lorenzo would do as they had commanded by endorsing Hipolito. Roldan asks what they would do if the pastor hesitates and Homer says a mocking prayer for Brother Lorenzo and his family.
At the Arevalos, Virgie is at it again with her badmouthing of our favorite hero as she apportions the blame to him for Alyana’s decision to break up with Marco. However, Alyana says Cardo has nothing to do with it.
“I feel that something isn’t right,” Alyana mentions. “I feel like I’ll just end up regretting my decision to marry him.”
Brandon keeps his demented brother company as he whines about how Alyana has been deceiving him. He suggests that he break up with her and Marco gives his brother a dëāth glare. Psyçhö Marco begins ranting and threatening to k!ll our favorite, as if he stands any frigging chance. Brandon calms down psyçhö brother and urges him to attend his upcoming birthday celebration.
Back at the Arevalos, Teddy counsels Alyana not to listen to him or her mother, but to listen to her heart and intuition to make her final decision on everything. Meanwhile, Miss Becky turns down a job offer for the girls to serve as entertainers at a congressman’s birthday party on account of what had happened with their last clients.
Homer is at it again with his comical antics and mockery of Brother Lorenzo, and having pulled out his güñ, he declares that whoever doesn’t follow his orders come tomorrow will burn. While the pastor mediates in bed, Homer goes on about how he would k!ll every member of his family if he doesn’t comply with their demands. The next day, Homer calls Lorenzo on phone ad begins taunting him.
“If we don’t hear the name ‘Renato Hipolito’ among the candidates you’ll be endorsing today, we’ll make sure you meet Saint Peter. Along with your entire family. Amen?” That evil cackle of laughter follows.
Brother Lorenzo stares nervously at some portraits of his family. He soon sets off to the venue alone as Venom spy on him. In no time, the revered pastor reaches his destination and he takes the stage after being introduced. The event is telecast on national TV as Hipolito and Brandon observe with pleasure.
The President and his Vice watch the live broadcast, and so does the Vendetta. Lorenzo goes on about the test of faith he had been given and he reveals how he had rejected Hipolito’s request for endorsement.
The Vice President’s attempts to bribe the pastor with government positions is also exposed. Lorenzo then reveals how some armëd men had thrëateñed his family and demanded that he endorse Hipolito. He accuses Hipolito of orchestrating the vile deed.
Homer and Hipolito’s allies are evidently pissed, but who cares? Brother Lorenzo goes on to charge his followers not to vote for Hipolito no matter what. Cue in the members of the Divine Ray of Light to crowd their leader protectively and lead him to safety.
President Hidalgo confronts Lucas about the pastor’s revelation and he denies it and tries to paint Lorenzo as the guilty party. Meanwhile, Brother Lorenzo is ambushed by Venom and the crooks grudgingly güñ down a couple of his followers. Peng and a few others take cover as Homer takes the pastor hostage.
Once the crooks are gone, Peng reunites with his mother and over the phone, he notifies Andi of the situation. Speaking of, Homer and his guys rough up Lorenzo and make mockery of him while he’s still being transported.
“I will make you pay for not honoring the agreement we made,” Homer taunts.
“That’s because I will never give in to any kind of evil and corrupt demands,” Brother Lorenzo declares.
Homer turns to face the pastor defiantly. “Is that so?” And with that, he knocks him out with a couple of puñches.
Hipolito is questioned by the media and he claims that his political rivals have fabricated another lie to ruin him. Also, he speculates that Brother Lorenzo might have been forced by someone to discredit and destroy him. Meanwhile, the CIDG work the crime scene and when Billy confirms that Homer was one of the shôõters, General Borja begins suspecting Hipolito’s involvement.
Brandon calls Homer on phone to complain about how he’s made things worse with his actions. While General Borja vows to make Hipolito pay for every crime he’s committed, Brandon demands that Homer turn over Brother Lorenzo to hm.
Back at the crime scene, Victoria shows up with her kids and confirms that Homer was the one who had kidnapped her husband. She then accuses Hipolito of being responsible for everything. The Dalisays discuss the despicable actions of Hipolito and worry about how it would affect Alyana since Marco’s father and brother are involved in the mess.
.Speaking of, Marco pays Alyana a visit at home and asks why she’s been avoiding him and why she seems mad. Alyana says she doesn’t like the way he’s been acting recently, and she also points out the fact that he’s always angry. Psyçhö Marco says she can’t really blame him for doubting her.
“I’m not doing anything wrong,” Alyana grumbles.
“You’re keeping secrets from me,” Marco argues. “I know that you’ve been going to Cardo’s house to visit his family and…”
“You’ve been following me?” Alyana says in disbelief. She gets up to go back to her room and Marco makes a futile attempt to stop her.
Miss Becky arrives at the tenement with Peng ad she informs Cardo and the others about how Brother Lorenzo had been abducted by armëd men. While President Hidalgo discusses with his kids the case involving Brother Lorenzo and the vice president, William his traitorous special assistant reports Oscar’s plan to Lucas.
Back at the Palace, the Hidalgos continue discussing the case and Oscar declares that the VP must pay if Brother Lorenzo’s accusations are proven to be true. Lucas charges William to constantly update him on every single move the president makes so he would be able to do something about it.
William asks how he would be able to get out of the mess and Lucas mentions that they would make Alano take back everything he had said about him and Hipolito. Meanwhile, the members of Vendetta discuss Hipolito’s involvement with the vice president.
“I have a feeling that director Hipolito and Congressman Cabrera have Brother Lorenzo,” Cardo states. “That’s why we should act fast. Because if we don’t, we might not see him alive anymore.”
Brother Lorenzo is tied up and restrained to a chair and Brandon beats him up, telling him that he won’t be set free until he’s changed his mind. However, Lorenzo says that he had already said what he needed to say.
At the hideout, Earthworm speculates that the pastor might have already been k!lled by his captors, but Romulo disagrees with him as he states that they would mainly focus on convincing Lorenzo to retract his statements. Brandon roughs up Brother Lorenzo and demands that he face the media and take back everything he had said about his father. He then follows up with a punch.
“I’m a man who doesn’t know how to lie,” Lorenzo says. “So just k!ll me now.”
Brandon grabs the pastor by the chin and towers over him. “What if I k!ll your family instead?”
