“I’m minding my own business trying to move on with my life! And you accuse me of instigating things? How dare you?! You’re the one with a good, perfect family. So why do you keep coming after me?!”
Audrey informs Troy that she had already had his suit prepared since he wouldn’t have the time to do it. Troy resolves to compliment and thank her and as Audrey goes on about why she needs to look her best for the night’s event, she spots a document on the bed and takes a peek at it before Troy makes deliberate efforts to hide it.
Recalling Bobby’s words, Audrey confronts her husband and whines about how he wants to use her for one last time before throwing her away. Kyle is having trouble getting the car to start so Rica is compelled to help Axel push it. It doesn’t really do any good and when Kyle complains, Axel makes him take his place and in no time, Kyle gives up on the futile endeavor.
He begins exchanging glances with Rica before the latter goes back into the car. Axel is exasperated. Meanwhile, Troy tells his wife that she’s also using him. Audrey wails and when she says that nobody leaves her, Troy dejectedly tells her that he will.
Troy gives Audrey the annulment papers and asks her to go through and revise what she wants. Audrey refuses and a wãr of words ensue. Raven arrives home only to overhear her parents’ argument. Audrey accuses her husband of filing for annulment because of ‘that woman’.
Troy makes it crystal clear that it’s always been about her not understanding that Rica is his daughter whom he would like to protect and defend, and not about Karla. Having heard enough, Raven slips out of the house.
“Should I have to accept that bãstârd daughter of yours?” Audrey laments.
Troy criticizes his wife for taking Jigs’ side and celebrating with his family. “What was I supposed to feel, seeing you celebrate without remorse while my daughter is suffering? What kind of wife does that?” To spite her husband, Audrey tears up the annulment papers. She refuses to sign and also refuses to go with him to the awarding in Manila.
Meanwhile, Axel arrives at Balai Arkitektura with Kyle and Rica, and he compels them to talk things out and stop with the silent treatment lest he go crazy on account of their attitudes. Once Axel leaves, Kyle discusses with Rica her request to keep work and personal life separate.
While Troy is set to leave for Manila by himself, Raven calls her cousin several times but he’s unable to pick up since his phone is on silent. As Jigs has shöôting practice with a friend of his, Raven sends him a text message and reflecting on how her father and Kyle had both defended Rica, she speeds off.
At Balai Arkitektura, Axel asks Kyle for details about his talk with Rica but the boss doesn’t give anything to go on. Audrey shows up at Bobby’s door looking all dejected and before she knows it, she’s ki$$ing Bobby again. Bobby slams the door shut for some sweet action.
Back at Balai Arkitektura, Axel resolves to pester Rica for details but she holds off her response and when Miss May arrives, she tries to convince her that Axel isn’t a player, and that he’s also not really a good for nothing jerk like she had said before. Miss May reaffirms her statement and Axel happily agrees with her.
“He’s actually very sensitive,” Rica mentions. “He’s really in touch with other people’s emotions.” Miss May scoffs. “Sensitive? He left my friend at the bed and breakfast where they were staying out of nowhere. On her birthday. He doesn’t have a sensitive bone in his body.”
Axel takes pleasure in agreeing with Miss May again before leaving with Chino. On his way to Manila, Troy tries to get through to his daughter on phone, all to no avail. Speaking of, said daughter storms BA and confronts Rica, accusing her of ruining her life.
Rica asks what she’s done and Raven starts whining and ranting. When she picks up her bag to leave, Raven grabs her by the hair, and the commotion brings over Kyle, Axel and the other workers. Rica gets in Raven’s face as Kyle restrains her.
“I’m minding my own business trying to move on with my life!” Rica roars. “And you accuse me of instigating things? How dare you?!”
“It’s really all your fault,” Raven laments.
“Why are you so mad at me? You’re the one with a good family. You’re the one with a perfect family. So why do you keep coming after me?!”
While Audrey literally makes lövê with Bobby while Troy is still on his way to Manila, Raven scoffs and reveals how messed up her family actually is. She brings up the annulment and then goes on about how she would lose everything when her parents part ways.
Drama coupled with cries follow as the workers of the firm look on pitiably. Suddenly, Raven pukes and passes out, and Axel has her carried and placed on the couch. He checks her breathing and assures everyone that she’s fine and had only lost consciousness.
Bea is gushing about what Brax had said to her in school when Dan arrives home, smiling from ear to ear. Dan excitedly announces that the mall-related stores liked their designs and would finalize the deal once they see the actual products. He then asks of Rica.
Speaking of, Rica takes care of Raven who still hasn’t woken up yet. Kyle sends everyone home with the exception of Axel, and of course Rica, who makes a futile attempt to find Raven’s phone so they could contact her parents.
Axel comes up with an excuse and tries to leave but both Rica and Kyle talk him into hanging around for a while since something might happen. Jigs arrives at the Ramones and when he learns of the situation at home from a maidservant, he tries to call his cousin.
In Manila, Troy also struggles to reach Raven on phone. Back at BA, Rica asks Axel how he knows so much about AUD and the guy painstakingly goes on about the drinking problem his dad had had before and after his mother had abandoned them.
“If there’s a contest on how much puke you can clean, or how fast you can catch a drunk person from collapsing, I’d win a gold medal. Only a few know about this. So you’re now part of the exclusive club. Congrats.”
“How did I manage to get a membership?” Rica merely asks.
Axel evades her question and asks about what she had talked about with Kyle. Rica holds off her response and resolves to tie her hair with her scarf as Axel looks on. Kyle is on the phone with a business partner and he observes for a while.
As Rica teases Axel over how he seems invested with their relationship, Kyle calls him into his office to talk about Project Catleya, but Axel brings up the talk he (Kyle) had had with Rica. He notes that she wasn’t happy about it and when he asks about what he had told her, Kyle remains silent.
Audrey finally wakes up from bed to see that she has 7 missed calls from Troy, and 5 from Jigs. Enter Bobby with breakfast for his mistress. Audrey snubs him and quickly dresses to head home much to Bobby’s displeasure. At Balai Arkitektura, Rica reflects on the latest altercation with Raven.
Chet comes over bearing Raven’s phone which she had found under Rose’s table. Rica takes the phone and stares at the detail of the incoming caller for a while before answering. It’s Troy who promises to finish the event quickly so he could return home for them to talk about things.
“…this isn’t Raven,” Rica mentions. “This is Rica Sicat.”
Troy is taken by surprise. “Rica? Are you and your sister together?”
“She came here to our office intoxicated. She ended up passing out.”
“She’s drunk?” Troy asks in disbelief.
“Yes, sir,” Rica affirms.
Troy then asks for the name of the office and when Rica gives it, he urges her to wait for him there. Once off the phone, Jay comes to take Troy inside to meet the enthusiastic organizers, but Troy demands for the key.
When Jay objects and points out that he’s about to receive the much anticipated award, Troy asks what good the award would be if something happens to his daughter. On this account, he takes the car keys from Jay and hurries away.
