“His son is a rãpīst! I have made up my mind. You can’t do anything about it. I have been more useful to you than your overbearing real son! If you’re planning to ruin my reputation, then I’ll bring you down with me.”
Dan’s boys inform Karla about how her husband plans to have Raylin invest in their business. Meanwhile, Troy is reminiscing about some memories with Karla when he receives a text message from his father, telling him to come home immediately.
At attorney Dizon’s office, Karla points out a particular woman (Ella) who seems to have disappeared from the recent photos of Jigs and his friends. Laura says that the woman might not have any social media account and Karla speculates that she might have deactivated them like Rica.
At the Sicats, Bea continues to gush over Brax’s gift much to Pog’s displeasure. She leaves it on the table to get some coffee and when Nico shows up, Pogs tricks him into eating Bea’s cheesecake. The boys then run off a moment before Bea returns to throw a fit.
Rica hangs out at the Constantine and ultimately leaves Kyle a word of apology – sorry. Meanwhile, Kyle is playing basketball by himself when Axel joins him and apologizes for interfering. Kyle shrugs off the apology, saying that he has to keep his distance before things get complicated.
Also, he says he has to be professional since that’s what Rica wants. Axel then asks if he can really do that. Rica encounters Kyle at the Constantine and she apologizes to him and tries to make him see her stand. Kyle turns around to face her, materializing into Rica’s worst nightmare – Jigs.
Imaginary Jigs approaches and stalks as he encourages Rica not to seek any help so she can see him in her dreams all the time. Unsettled, Rica makes a fist. And before we know it, the scene cuts back to her bedroom where her sister Bea’s screams wake her up. Karla and Da rush in as Bea favors her left eye.
“Hey, what happened?” Karla asks.
“Rica puñchëd me in the face,” Bea laments, pointing an accusing finger at her sister.
“Maybe it was just an accident.”
“Mom, c’mon. I was just trying to wake her up from a nightmare.”
Bea continues to lament over what her sister had done to her face and Rica apologizes. Nico takes the chance to tease Bea, telling her that she would definitely have a black eye tomorrow.
The next morning, Karla urges her husband to talk Rica into going to see a doctor since he’s the one she listens to. Talk shifts to Dan’s partnership with Raylin which Karla isn’t happy about due to the nosy neighbor’s flirtatious ways.
Dan then assures his wife that he knows his boundaries. Rica encounters Ella (Archie’s girlfriend) at the clinic and she helps her by picking up her water bottle for her. Rica initiates a conversation with Ella’s dragonfly tattoo which is known as a symbol for hope and change.
Ella agrees, though she mentions that the tattoo had just become a decoration in the end. Rica prompts her to use it as a reminder that there’s something she really wants, something she wouldn’t give up on until they have it. Rica is then called into the doctor’s office.
Troy shows up at the Ramones mansion and apologizes for not coming yesterday. Alberto then begins blabbering about the perfect life he had given him. He makes mention that Troy would probably be a construction worker working in the sun if it weren’t for him.
As Bobby comes over, Alberto then confronts his adopted son about his plan to divorce Audrey. Troy says it’s his decision but Alberto declares that he’s the one to decide.
“You will not throw away everything that I’ve worked hard for.”
“Excuse me?” Troy says. “I am the mayor of Sidero. And if any one worked hard to be elected, it’s me.”
“But if I didn’t adopt you…”
“Yes, and I have thanked you for that. I have thanked you my entire life, and I’m done.”
Bobby butts in, asking if he’s going to leave Audrey for his mistress. Exasperated, Troy lashes out at him and tells him that Karla has nothing to do with it. Alberto says it’s not enough to convince people since everyone knows about his past.
“That’s because his son is a rãpīst!” Troy explodes, pointing at Bobby. “I have made up my mind. You can’t do anything about it. You never really wanted to make me mayor, but may I remind you…that the people embraced me and not Bobby. I have been more useful to you, than your overbearing real son!”
Bobby angrily shoves Troy onto the floor and tries to go at him but he kicks him away and rewards him with a puñch to the face. Alberto calls off Bobby as he tries to ãttaçk again. Troy declares that his decision is final and Alberto starts with his blackmails, particularly about some stuff that had happened in the past.
Troy gets in his father’s face. “If you’re planning to use that to ruin my reputation, then I’ll bring you down with me.”
Raven pulls over outside her house and reflects on her last conversation with her father. Meanwhile, Dr. Irene urges Rica to draw the things she wants to erase from her memory. Rica fears it might make matters, adding that she wants to heal from her trauma since it’s been affecting her family and her job.
The doctor goes on about how healing is a very slow process and can be frustrating at times, just like slow Wi-Fi. Dr. Irene also likens her trauma to a guñshöt wound, saying that the wound would never heal if the büllêt is still inside her body.
At the city council, Kyle recounts how he had to pretend to be the boyfriend of a certain classmate in high school since Jigs wouldn’t stop harassing her after the lady had rejected his proposal back then. On this account, Axel states that the councilor is really sick and such a döuchebãg.
As if on cue, Jigs materializes to make mockery of Kyle and his father’s tragic dëāth. Axel tries to go at him but Kyle holds him back. Troy gets physical with Jay and demands to know if he was the one who had told his father about his plan to divorce Audrey.
Right-hand man assures his boss that he isn’t the culprit and Troy orders him to find out who the perpetrator was. Back at the clinic, Rica says his goodbyes to Ella. A moment, Archie shows up and quickly ushers Ella away as soon as he spots Rica nearby.
“He’s a two-faced döuchebãg,” Axel says to Kyle after the hearing. “He disrespected your dad’s memory right in front of your face, but acts like a saint in front of everyone else. I almost believed he was a good guy. That lünatiç knows how to manipulate.”
“And you wanted Rica to face that kind of person,” Kyle merely says.
Axel sighs. “I know. That was stüpïd. You should talk to Rica, dude. She really felt bad yesterday.”
While Rica spends some time at the Constantine, hoping for Kyle to show up, Ella narrates to Archie and her mother her encounter with ‘the lady at the clinic’. She says she hopes to see her (Rica) again.
Speaking of, Rica finds that Kyle had replied to her ‘sorry’ message with a sketch of an essay/notebook. As she begins to wonder what that means, Archie asks Ella if she had exchange numbers with the stranger and she reminds him that she doesn’t even have a phone.
Archie goes on about how Ella had isolated herself and deleted her social media accounts after what had happened to her. Ella is of the delusion that the only mistake Archie made was becoming close friends with Jigs, adding that she knows he had nothing to do with what he (Jigs) did to her.
After Ella heads to her room for a nap, her mother makes it clear to Archie that she wouldn’t let him stop her daughter once she decides to use her phone again and reconnect with the outside world.
“You don’t want Ella to find to about the case and what you did,” Mrs. Montecillo states. “But you can’t keep that from her for the rest of your life.” Bobby tracks down Audrey at a restaurant and when they come face-to-face, a flashback reveals how the two had shared a ki$$ after the former had consoled her.
Now away from prying eyes, Audrey tells Bobby that what had happened between them was nothing but a mistake. Nevertheless, Bobby urges her to leave her husband and Audrey looks on in disbelief when he reveals that Troy is planning to leave her.
