Lucas and Brandon strike a deal with Hipolito and propose that they join forces so he can win the elections for sure. While Elmo and Wally take down some campaign posters of Captain Gina and resolve to grumble about her çriminål ways, Gina throws a birthday party for her next in command and encourages her to give her full support. The captain points out to her subordinate that if she wins as city counselor, then she would be the one to take over as captain.
The Dalisays watch a news report of Hipolito, and they’re confident that he would soon face justice for the errors of his diabolic ways. Grandma Flora in particular notes that good would always win out in the end no matter how much evil may be out there. The family look forward to the possibility of Cardo turning himself in once Hipolito is arrested.
Grandma Flora updates the family about the annulment, and she points out that when the court eventually sends a summons, Cardo would have no choice but to show up if he wants to save his marriage. Speaking of, Alyana is visited by her illëgâl boyfriend who gladly tells her of how his mother had found a way to expedite the annulment process.
General Borja tries to get to nurse Andi at the hospital, and once she spots him, she makes deliberate efforts to hide and avoid him. At the safe house, Hipolito orders Homer to ensure his victory in the upcoming elections by using viölençe to secure the votes of the people. He introduces Brandon who’s already all in and eager to scare the constituents to vote for Hipolito.
“I know you,” Homer remarks. “You’re the vice president’s son. You ready to put yourself and your father at risk?”
“I know what I’m getting into,” Brandon declares. “Don’t show any mercy. If they resist, shöôt them dëâd.”
Homer is all smiles and read for action as long as the price is right. While Cardo picks up Andi after her shift, Marco brings a lot of food to Alyana’s and goes on talking about how he feels like he’s already a part of her family.
Teddy isn’t quite happy, even as his daughter’s illëgâl boyfriend proposes that he and Alyana get married by a judge before the annulment is finalized.
However, Teddy insists that they wait a little while longer and Alyana backs up her father. Man, psyçhö Marco doesn’t look happy.
Alyana has a talk with her father about her rash decision to get into her relationship with Marco. She apologizes for not listening to him before.
Teddy asks if she’s having second thoughts about Marco because of Cardo, and she admits so. Alyana then makes mention of her illëgâl boyfriend’s explosive temperament. However, she decides to go ahead with the marriage because of the promise she had made to the Cabreras. Teddy then reminds her that marriage is a lifetime commitment.
Delfin goes to the trouble of searching for nurse Andi at the tenement. After a little trouble, the General eventually finds her and questions her about what had really happened in the presence of Cardo and Romulo before they had escaped. Andi merely reveals how Cardo had saved her from Catindig, and nothing more. The General then concludes his visit.
Cardo is coming out of the hideout when he spots his grandfather and quickly retreats back inside. Upon noticing the abrupt close of the door, Delfin tries the knob, but Cardo holds onto it from the other side to prevent it from opening. Andi shows up to make the save and Delfin leaves, but not before shooting suspicious looks her way.
“He’s gone,” Andi whispers to our favorite hero.
Cardo then comes out. “I told you so, didn’t I? He won’t leave you alone. That’s why you need to be more careful.”
Delfin takes a moment to observe the tenement, quite suspicious that the nurse is hiding his grandson in there to protect him. Having donned black masks, Homer’s gãñg ambush a mayor and the Scorpion demands for the mayor to tell his constituents to vote for Hipolito in the upcoming elections. When the guy refuses to do so, Homer scares him into submission by gladly executing the mayor’s men on the spot.
The mayor of Dela Paz recounts his ordeal at the hands of the armed men that had ãttaçked him and on national television, he covers up the motive behind the ãttaçk. The Vendetta watch the news report at their hideout, disgusted with how politicians stoop to any level to get what they want. As if on cue, they head out on the commander’s orders to track down the group that has been buying votes for Hipolito.
While Lucas and Brandon bond together, firing away at a shöôting range, Brandon’s men terrôrizë some civilians and thrêaten to deal with the whole area if they don’t vote for Hipolito. Back at the shöôting range, Marco joins his father and brother to practice. The Cabreras – what a trigger-happy, demented family. At a school in San Clemente, a goon thrêatens a principal to get his teachers to agree with his demands – rigging the election in Hipolito’s favor, that is.
The Vendetta are en route to their target location in their quest of finding the crooks involved in dirty politics. Hipolito has dropped down from number 1 to number 12 in the senatorial survey. Since threatening local officials hadn’t produced the desired results, Brandon proposes that they seek the endorsement of someone who’s popular with the masses. Meanwhile, the Vendetta arrive outside the school.
General Olegario sneaks into the school to find out how the vote buying system works. Inside, the principal has a meeting with his teachers. As the goon hovers around him, he urges the teachers to stay out of the way of Hipolito’s poll watchers come Election Day. Despite the promise of a reward, Diana observes as the teachers refuse to turn a blind eye and insist on doing what’s right.
Brandon and Lucas come up with a way of getting Hipolito more votes with the help of Brother Lorenzo, who happens to be the leader of a dominant religious group. Speaking of, Miss Becky attends the said pastor’s church with Peng. Meanwhile, Hipolito is hopeful that the religious group would help him get a huge lead in the surveys which would lead to his victory in the elections.
Hipolito plays devil’s advocate all the same. “But what if we can’t convince the head of this group to lend us their support?”
“If he doesn’t want to meet his maker yet,” Brandon jeers. “He’ll have to obey us.”
General Olegario sneaks out of the school and notifies her comrades about the info she had gathered regarding the vote buying scheme. The group then conclude that the teachers would need their protection. Later that night, the teachers troop out of the school and deliberate on the incident earlier.
As they plan to report the matter to the authorities and the media, they’re trapped and abducted by some goons. The Vendetta, who had been keeping watch discreetly, give chase.
Alyana has a talk with her father about her reservations regarding her marriage to Marco. Teddy asks if she still lövês Cardo but we don’t get any reply there.
Anyway, the goons round up the teachers somewhere and hold them at guñpoiñt. For some reason unknown, the high-ranking members stay back while Earthworm, Tadpole, Greco and the others slither inside, just as a particular teacher criticizes her abductors for selling their dignities to Hipolito.
The top goon practically talks the teachers to dëāth as a number of them plead for mercy. For having wasted his ‘precious time’, top goon makes ready to execute one of the teachers when then the inevitable güñ battle begins. The Vendetta take out the crooks and successfully rescue the teachers unscathed. The top goon however manages to escape. In no time, the guys bring out the teachers who express their appreciation to the whole group for saving them.
“Aren’t you that guy on the news?” one asks our favorite hero. “The one on the run from the police? I also heard that you’re the ones who are taking down different çriminals.”
“That’s right,” Happy affirms. “That is us.”
Cardo urges the teachers to not let anyone know that they were the ones who had rescued them, and they give their word.
“Thank you very much again. You saved our lives tonight.”
