“I’m ending my marriage with Audrey. We haven’t been happy for years now, and we have made our daughter miserable.”
The episode begins with Rica screaming her lungs out at the sight of Jigs. In a snap, she startles awake in her bed and realizes that it had all been a terrible dream. Meanwhile, Pogs sneaks into Nico and Bea’s shared room and resolves to waking up the former after he’s suffered his subconscious discharge of smelly gas.
Nico asks his friend if he’s trying to take a peek at his sister while she’s sleeping, and Pogs assures him that he’s no creep and that he could never do that because he has a lot of respect for her.
Nico asks why he had woken him up in the middle of the night and Pogs says he’s figured out what his grand gesture would be – to become Bea’s knight in shining armor. A disturbance is heard outside as Pogs displays. Having heard the noise too, Rica tiptoes out of her room and grabs a makeshift wëapon to investigate.
Nico also sneaks out with Pogs and makes him hide when they spot Rica ahead. On Rica’s cue, Nico also arms himself with a makeshift wëapon. Bea then shows up to ask what’s going on. “Shhh. There’s a bürglâr. Go get a wëapon,” Rica whispers.
Dan and Karla are having a moment when their kids troop over to the workshop to complain. Karla spots Pogs sneaking away and points it out but Bea argues that she and her dad are just drunk, adding that she doesn’t want another sibling because she’s got her hands full with Nico.
While Laura spots one of Jigs’ friends at a bar, the said shãmelëss councilor delightedly watches the viral $ëx video in his room. Laura is approached by Jigs’ friend who tries to make a pass at her. She goes with the flow and points out that she’s older than him, and the guy says that it doesn’t have to be a problem for them.
The next morning at the Sicats, Rica prepares breakfast for her family as well as hangover remedy for her parents. She brings up how her coworkers hadn’t judged her harshly even after Raven had exposed her secret, and Karla mentions that she’s beginning to like her office mates again.
Raven had passed the night in her office after some little bit of drinking. Once she wakes up in the morning, she asks Trixie her secretary to call her house and request for some clothes she could change into. Trixie suggests that she go home herself since it’s still early, but Raven insists otherwise.
Meanwhile, attorney Dizon briefs Troy about her encounter with one of Jigs’ friends last night. She notes that the guy had been open to talk to her about anything except Archie and Jigs.
“His lips were sealed. It’s like he was already briefed by the Ramoneses. And it just confirmed that Archie is doing this out of rëveñge.”
Mayor Troy stares ahead blankly, unresponsive.
“As for the why, we still don’t know.” Laura notices the mayor’s demeanor. “Troy, did you hear anything that I said?”
“I’m ending my marriage with Audrey,” Troy declares, leaving Laura astonished.
“…everything is about your career and your image. That includes having a perfect wife, a perfect family.”
“There are plenty of politicians who have gotten divorced, and their career survived. I think mine can. We haven’t been happy for years now, and we have made our daughter miserable.”
Laura plays the devil’s advocate and notes that he’s just been recognized outside Sidero as a great politician, adding that the divorce he wants might overshadow all his accomplishments. She then points out that Alberto Ramones wouldn’t allow it.
“This is my decision,” Troy declares. “This is my life.”
“This is going to create a huge scandal,” Laura admonishes. “I’m sure your dad wouldn’t be the only one who’d oppose. Audrey would too.”
“So then tell me, attorney. What can Audrey do to make this difficult? And how can I protect my daughter from any fallout from this? Tell me.”
“Okay.”
Bea joins her sister and mother at the table and announces that she wouldn’t be going to school because she’s not in the mood to argue with her mates about her (Karla’s) confrontation with Audrey.
Enter Pogs who reminds her that she has exams coming up, adding that their group is also supposed to meet up today for a cruci6 project. Bea then reluctantly changes her mind. Outside, Dan sees posters of mayor Troy and he angrily takes them down, only to sight a whole lot more ahead.
Miss May seeks Rica’s permission before assigning her to a number of projects and coming upon the scene, Axel picks at her, saying that she (Rica) is required to do them since it’s her job. Miss May then taunts him with his apparent insensitivity.
In no time, Kyle receives a phone call from Mr. Perez and once off the phone, he announces that they had gotten the proposal. The team then express their excitement.
Raven’s gladness to have received a note from her mother suddenly dies down when she figures out that it’s merely a ‘bribe’ to get her to attend their family’s weekly dinner with grandpa Alberto. Out of contempt, she asks Trixie if the ‘bribe’ from her father hasn’t arrived yet too.
Raven then receives a phone call from Mr. Perez, telling her about Balai Akitektura being the architect firm for their project. Recalling how Kyle had humiliated her at his office before, as well as the incident at the country club, Rica tells Mr. Perez that she might have to back out.
Pogs initiates his grand gesture in school; sporting a bandana, he rides a skateboard and confronts Brax in front of Bea and some others. He demands to know why he had thrown away the ice cream Bea had bought for him and Brax apologizes, saying that he’s not allowed to eat sweets.
Bea drags Pogs away after he continues to make a fool of himself. In no time, she lashes out at him, hinting that he stands no chance with her. At Balai Akitektura, the team excitedly decide to go to Ash’s Bar to celebrate. However, Kyle proposes that they just go to a restaurant if Rica isn’t comfortable with bars.
Rica assures everyone that she’s fine with the initial plan. And so it goes. At the Sicats, Dan catches one of several kids who had just vandalized their wall and he gets physical with him and demands to know who had sent him.
“Is it the mayor, huh?!” Dan seethes as the kid pleads. Still, Dan makes a fist to strike. “I’m going to teach you a lesson.”
“No, please,” the kid wails.
“Then start talking!”
“I don’t know anything.”
“Tell me!”
Karla comes upon the scene with Nico and Pogs in tow. “Love! Dan, c’mon, he’s just a kid.”
Dan reluctantly releases the brat and he scurries away as Mr. Sicat glances at his wife and then at the words that had been painted on the wall – “rude”, “pest”, and “mistress”.
At Ash Bar, the guys make Kyle give a congratulatory speech. This update is written by celinka updates website. The boss seems to freeze when he mentions his departed father’s name and Axel makes the save by toasting with the others.
Meanwhile, Alberto urges Troy to start campaigning for the senate and then the presidency on account of the honor he’s slated to receive. Raven arrives to greet her grandfather grudgingly and resolves to snub her father.
Audrey shows up with her neck brace in place and Alberto makes mention of it and suddenly bursts into laughter, saying that she’s his favorite. Raven and Troy both seem annoyed for contrary obvious reasons.
In a washroom at the bar, Rica has a talk with Rose about how she had initially been nervous coming along with the team to the bar, saying that she didn’t know what her reaction would be or what would trigger her trauma.
“I’m glad I did. Now that I’m here, I feel okay. Perfectly okay.”
“Of course you’re okay,” Rose agrees. “That’s why people call you an amazon, right?”
Rica and Rose return to the team, only to be dragged to the dance floor. Mrs. Gracia and Kyle are compelled to join everyone else – everyone else except Axel, who busies himself hitting on some random girl, all the while observing his coworkers.
Speaking of, the team show off their comical dancing moves. Kyle’s dance moves are quite pathetic and nothing to write home about. Rica even seems happy dancing along with her coworkers. Well that’s until that foreboding techno beat blasts through the speakers.
Rica flashes back to her ordeal and seems to be having a panic attack. Axel is the first to notice, but again, Kyle beats him to it as he steadies Rica and assures her that he’s there for her. Rica stares back at Kyle, breathing heavily.
