“The râpë charges were dismissed, and so for now, this is about everything I can do so I can get back at the people who violated me. Even if you already know about it, I hope you won’t treat me differently from before.”
Rica, Bea and Nico arrive at the precinct to see their parents who are behind bars. They ask what they’re doing there, and Karla says it’s merely a misunderstanding. Attorney Dizon then makes her appearance to announce that the Sicats couple can now go home.
She hands the officer their release papers and reveals that no charges had been pressed, courtesy of Mayor Troy. The Sicats then gladly reunite with their kids. Enter that annoying neighbor to make a scene on Dan’s account.
Karla explains what had happened at the city hall to her family and admits that it was wrong of her to go there in the first place. Nico says it was cool that they had both been locked up in jail, and Dan scolds him, even as he chastises himself for losing his temper again.
Nico receives another scolding from Bea after Dan slips away to check up on the shop. Karla then apologizes to Rica for causing trouble on the day before her hearing.
Attorney Dizon briefs Troy on the state of the Sicat family and urges him to go and take care of his wife. Before getting off the phone, Troy thanks her and heads into the house to find Audrey rooted at one spot and staring into space. He approaches her and recalling the words of Laura, as well as the incident at the police station, he apologizes for what he had done and tries to convince her that it was best for their family’s image.
Troy admits that they haven’t been okay in a while and that he’s failed her so many times in their marriage. As he goes on and on about how he’s been trying, a maidservant brings some bags out of their room and quite in disbelief, Troy offers to move out of their room. He asks of how much time she needs and Audrey lashes out at him.
“…you always treat me like garbage,” Audrey laments. “Do you expect that I’ll just keep crawling back to you?”
Audrey recounts how they had initially met when their fathers had been pushing them together. She notes that even though she knew that he loved someone back then, she still believed that she could win his heart over time.
“But I was dead wrong.”
“Audrey…I stayed, okay? I’m still…”
“You don’t get it, Troy!” Audrey wails. “You didn’t stay! She left you.”
Troy then begins grumbling about how he seems to never be able to do anything right by her. Audrey admits so and laments over how all she wanted was for him to choose her willingly out of love. Looking quite dejected, Troy tries to reach out to her again but Audrey backs away, declaring that she’s done. And off she goes.
Axel pesters Kyle with questions about Rica and for the hundredth time, he asks if he’s sure he’s not into her. Axel states that it would be complicated if he is, and Kyle changes the topic. They talk about their presentation and when Kyle mentions that something seems to be missing with the design, Axel says that it’s because Rica won’t be around tomorrow.
Rica lies in bed and has another one of her episodes. She receives a text message from Kyle who briefs her about the presentation. They communicate through text messages, and Kyle notes that the design of the museum is cold and without heart.
Kyle cracks a joke about how Mr. Perez would be after money and not heart. Smiling, Rica says that they’re always nervous around him because he (Kyle) is super stiff at work.
Kyle: Alright then. I won’t bother you anymore. You should go to sleep.
Rica: I needed a distraction. It’s so hard to get some sleep sometimes.
Kyle: If you need someone to talk to, to get you through the night, I’m right here for you.
Recalling Axel’s question earlier, Kyle refrains from sending the message above and merely wishes Rica goodnight. Rica reciprocates and wishes him luck tomorrow for the presentation. Meanwhile, Axel browses the net and comes upon some articles about Rica’s case. He reports a couple of the $ëx videos posted online.
Rica decides to work on the presentation after she’s still unable to sleep. The next morning, Troy wakes up in bed to find that he’s actually alone. In no time, a text message comes in from Attorney Dion, telling him about the hearing.
At Balai Akitektura, Kyle subconsciously checks out Rica’s desk, only to be startled by the sudden appearance of someone – Rica. Kyle asks what she’s doing there and Rica reveals that she couldn’t sleep last night so she had taken another look at the presentation.
Rica hands Kyle a document on the additions she had made and Kyle is impressed – with the design and how she had pulled an all-nighter to get it done. Still, Rica thanks him, saying that working on the design helped take her mind off things she needs to face.
The other workers of Balai Akitektura show up – all except for Axel – and on Rose’s signal, Rica confirms the lawsuit she had filed against councilor Jigs. She however refutes Raven’s claims that she’s a liar.
“Today is the first day of the court hearing,” Rica announces. “It’s for the anti-voyeurism case, and it’s against Jigs and his friend who uploaded the video online. Rica takes turns glancing at her coworkers, who ultimately crowd around her for a group hug. Being the other only male, Chino tries to join the girls but Kyle holds him back and urges Rica to come if she can make it to the presentation afterward.
The others assure her that they would take care of it, and after expressing her appreciation, Rica heads out of the company and runs into Axel. They’re left staring at each other for a while and as Rica carries on, Axel calls out to her and urges her to ‘give them hell’. Rica smiles and nods, and off she goes.
Dan and his family are getting worked up over how the defendants haven’t shown up for a while now. Eventually, the accused do show up with their families and lawyers in the court room. Rica glares at Jigs for a while, and then Archie. Enter Audrey who shows up with Bobby in tow, wearing a neck brace and selling her non-existent injury. She makes eye contact with Karla, who looks on, exasperated.
In no time, the case is called and Jigs doesn’t waste time to plead not guilty. When Archie is asked the very same question, he holds up his response as he turns back to stare at Rica for a while.
“…not guilty.”
Rica looks on in disbelief as Dan glares like nobody’s business. After the case is adjourned, some reporters press Archie for comments but he’s stopped by his team when he tries to speak. The media then refocus their attention on Audrey who takes pleasure in narrating how she had been supposedly assaulted.
She however refrains from naming the culprit as attorney Dizon, Karla and her family look on. Audrey continues to sell her fake injury as Dan glares at Bobby. Before leaving with his family, Dan criticizes the childish act of the Ramoneses.
Rica receives a text message from Rose, telling her about how the boss and the team are now on their way to make the presentation because the client had rescheduled to a later time. Rica then asks her father to drop her off at the country club, and Karla decides to stay back with attorney Dizon.
Ultimately, Rica arrives at Sidero Country Club and strives to find the room the presentation would be held in, only to run into the shãmelëss councilor Jigs who accuses her of stalking him.
