“I’m doing him a favor. I’m only doing this to make Kyle admit that he likes Rica. Because he won’t admit it, even to himself. Kyle has never fallen this hard for a girl.”
Kyle cautions Axel not to dare go after Rica because she’s her junior and coworker, and therefore, he doesn’t want any problems in the workplace. Axel merely says that he’s not in a rush, adding that he can tell that the girl’s a challenge.
Speaking of, Rica comes to clarify something with her boss. Axel asks her to come in but Kyle snubs her, saying that they’re still talking.Rica excitedly informs her mother of how her boss had chosen her design for a presentation for a big client.
Karla gets excited as well, even more so when her daughter notes that all her coworkers believe in her abilities and her designs, especially her boss. Karla concludes that the guy is indeed nice, though Rica recalls the scene earlier at work and mentions that he’s a bit grouchy.
Kyle scores for his team during a basketball game. During a quick break, Axel deliberately pesters Chino about Rica’s likes. When he mentions giving her a stuffed toy like a key chain, Kyle gets upset and throws a basketball at him. A confrontation ensues, and he calls off the game. Later, Chino questions Axel’s motives for pursuing Kyle’s “Cinderella”.
“Kyle would not chase after Rica if she wasn’t important to him,” Chino states.
“Which is why I’m doing him a favor,” Axel says.
“How is pursuing Rica doing him a favor?” “Rica’s interesting, but she’s not my type. I’m only doing this to make Kyle admit that he likes Rica. Because he won’t admit it, even to himself.” “Maybe you shouldn’t be meddling,” Chino admonishes. “Kyle has never fallen this hard for a girl,” Axel argues. “I just wanna know what he sees in Rica.”
Rica lies in bed, reflecting on Kyle’s attitude at work earlier. She types a message to send him but decides against it at the last minute. As fate will have it, Kyle also considers sending Rica a text message but he also deletes it eventually. He then begins wondering what he’s doing. The next morning, Karla tags along with attorney Dizon to the repair shop.
At Balai Arkitektura, Axel walks in with Chino who keeps pestering him for just one phone number of the numerous girls in his contacts. Miss May scolds them as Kyle looks on.
Glancing at Kyle, Axel tells Chino that he can have all the numbers because he only has one girl in mind now. Enter Rica, who comes out of the washroom, laughing with Rose, only to be stared at by everyone. Kyle is the first to walk away.
Nico counsels Pogs to make a grand gesture if he wants to surpass Brax and win over his sister. He recounts how in a movie, a particular character of Sam Milby had worn a pig costume to win over his beloved. Pogs laments, saying that there’s no way he can afford a grand gesture. Meanwhile, attorney Dizon, in the company of Karla, questions the owner of the repair shop Archie used to frequent.
Attorney Dizon asks about the person who had attended to Archie back then and the man claims that the guy had disappeared with some valuables. Laura asks if he had reported the theft and the man blabbers about how he’s been unable to renovate his shop.
Ironically enough, one of his boys comes over to ask when they’re starting the renovations because they have all the materials they need.”So you’re renovating this place,” Laura scoffs after the boss has chased off his subordinate.
“…it took me long to save up for it,” claims the boss. “I’m just glad the thief didn’t take my savings too.” “The Ramones are really very generous.” Shady boss takes the bait. “They are the best thing that ever happened to Sidero.”
Kyle takes his sweet time fiddling away in his office before going through Rica’s file and commending her impressive designs. He asks if she had stayed up all night for it and Rica says she couldn’t sleep because of all the ideas that had been popping up in her head. When Rica asks if there’s a problem, Kyle ignores her question and asks her to finalize her work.
Rica heads out, just as Kyle starts smiling at her. She stops and turns on her way out, and Kyle quickly turns away. Rica then carries on, smiling. Meanwhile, Karla asks attorney Dizon why they had left the repair shop so soon and she mentions that they wouldn’t have gotten anything out of the owner since it was obvious that the Ramoneses had gotten to him.
Axel exchanges words with Rica over the types of materials to use for the project. Rica asks why he’s objecting to her idea when he had already agreed with it yesterday. Axel begins smiling and Rica lashes out at him for wasting time, startling Chino in the process. At the Sicats, Karla thanks attorney Dizon for the several bags she’s bought, supposedly for some friends of hers.
Rica works with Axel on the project in the conference room. She erases a sketch and blows away the residue, making Axel react in a way that suggests the particles had entered his eyes. Rica apologizes as Axel sells his non-existent discomfort.
As Kyle who’s seated at Mrs. Gracia’s table looks in disbelief from the outside, Rica gets closer to Axel and blows air into his eyes.
“Is it gone now?” “Yeah,” Axel says. “I’m fine now.” “You see? I told you blinking would work.”
Kyle turns away, just as Axel takes a critical look at Rica and mentions that she was his classmate in kindergarten. Axel says Rica had said the same thing about blinking when dirt got into his eyes back then. Rica also identifies him as the noisy, know-it-all classmate. She brings up how he had soiled his pants back then and Axel cuts her off.
Kyle observes from the outside as Rica teases Axel over the embarrassing incident. Mrs. Gracia takes turns glancing at Rica and Kyle. The latter seems annoyed. He gets up and walks away, ignoring Chino on his way. Chino comes to learn that Axel and Rica were classmates in kindergarten. Their friendly interaction leaves him in awe.
After work, Axel leaves for home with Chino after addressing Kyle. Boss Kyle stands in front of Rica’s desk and subtly sends miss May, Gracia and the janitor home. He then resumes staring at Rica. “Bye sir Kyle,” Rica says after the boss doesn’t speak for a while. “…um… great…”
Kyle turns away to leave, silently criticizing himself for the corny reply he had given. Meanwhile, Chino hangs out with Axel at a club. Playboy approaches a random lady. Raven shows up and Chino who’s quite excited, fails to convince her to collaborate with Balai Arkitektura. In school, Pogs gets an online job and he’s asked to create 10 different Facechat accounts.
Kyle is pretty grouchy as he discusses the project with Axel and his team in the conference room. Outside, the other workers observe and gossip about their boss’ moodiness. Speaking of, Kyle criticizes Axel and Rica’s work.
Back outside, Mrs. Gracia recounts how Kyle had seen Rica and Axel chitchatting yesterday. When Mrs. Gracia says Kyle has to remind them to get back to work, Rose reveals that Rica had already finished her work. Miss May then blames Axel.
The atmosphere in the conference room is pretty tense and comical as everyone is left staring at each other. Meanwhile, Dan delivers the bags attorney Dizon had bought to her office. He’s about to get onto his motorbike to leave when he spots the mayor going into the lawyer’s office.
Turns out that the mayor is actually the one who had made attorney Dizon buy Karla’s bags. Stating that she doesn’t enjoy lying to Kakay, Laura reminds Troy that Mrs. Sicat doesn’t like him helping her. However, Troy says he’s only trying to fix the mess Audrey had created. He discloses how he had found out about his wife’s friend who runs a troll farm.
“Has the arraignment been scheduled?””Not yet,” attorney Dizon replies. “Is there a way we can speed up the process?” Troy asks. “Who do I need to talk to? As soon as possible, I want Archie and Jigs to stand trial.” “Seriously, Troy? You’re willing to use your power and influence? I thought you were a better politician than that.”
Karla is allocating money for the family’s numerous expenses when Dan returns to ask her about the people attorney Dizon had supposedly bought the bags for. Karla asks if something is wrong and Dan reveals how he had seen the mayor going into Laura’s office as soon he had delivered the products and left. He concludes that Troy is her actual customer but Karla harbors doubts.
Pogs excitedly messages his ‘online boss’ who gives him his first task. His excitement dïës down in an instant and he gets all worked up. In his rush to find Nico, he collides into Bea, who scolds him, and even more so when he reveals that he had gotten a job at a troll farm.
Bea asks if he’s that desperate for money and Pogs says he had no idea that it was a troll farm at first. “So? What does this have to do with me? Don’t tell me you’re trying to recruit me.” “No, I’m not. My boss sent me this message.” Pogs shows Bea the message.
It seems he had been asked to go to a particular account and post something on Karla’s Facechat account and report the account afterward. The message that leaves Bea dumbfounded goes like this – “Mistress! Pest! I hope you dìë right now! You and your daughters are $lüts!”
