“But you made a commitment to me! Stay away from Cardo’s family! Is that too much to ask?!”
Nurse Andi decides to take the day off from work to take care of his brother who has a fever. Nevertheless, Peng urges her to go to work, saying that he would be fine. Meanwhile, the Flower Power Girls eagerly look forward to reporting the members of Vendetta to the police for the bounties on their heads.
They’re confident that they would be rich once the cops get to see the photo they had taken earlier with the group.Grandma Flora and her family bring the kids to the elementary school and congratulate them on their good performance in school.
While Cardo and his comrades check out their firêãrms in preparation for their mission, General Borja and his men deliberate on the firêãrms Homer’s gãñg have been using, and they come up with a lead regarding the supplier. At the safe house, Hipolito lashes out at Homer’s group for their constant failure.
“I wanna see the results! If you don’t, you will all be ending up in hell. Ahead of Leon.”
President Hidalgo and his family attend the Recognition Day event and Grace asks Yohan to call up Aubrey their elder sister who’s in LA. Yohan says he had tried before but would do so again. As Paco, Dexter and the other kids receive their honors in the elementary school, the students of Saint Gertrude Academy are also honored. Mary-Grace Hidalgo exceeds her mates as the first honor and her parents congratulate her.
Psyçhö Marco is at the Arevalos in search of Alyana. Teddy and Virgie mention that she’s been unreachable for some time now. Marco apologizes for the incident with his brother and Alyana the other day and urges the Arevalo couple to meet his parents soon, claiming that they fully support his relationship with their daughter.
Virgie is all down for it, though Teddy couldn’t care less. Following the Recognition Day event at the elementary school, Makmak asks Alyana if it’s true that she lövés someone else now. As if on cue, Yolly drags her son away.
Once they’re alone, Grandma Flora asks Alyana if it’s true that she now has a boyfriend and she reluctantly admits and reveals that she had made it clear to Cardo on several occasions that they’re not getting back together. The thing Cardo calls a wife begins with her emotional drama which we don’t pay attention to.
While attending to her brother, Andi receives a phone from her supervisor and she apologizes and informs her of her situation. Once off the phone, Peng urges her to go back to work already before she loses her job but Andi wouldn’t budge.
Enter miss Becky their Mom who comes to rant about the trouble the Vendetta group is likey to cause their neighborhood. In no time, she goes to confront the guys again.
“We are assuring you right now, no harm will come to your family,” Cardo declares. “Or anyone in this area.”
“I want you out of here!” Miss Becky bellows. “If you’re still here by the time I get back, I will report you all to the police!”
Major Catindig confronts Romulo and resorts to his usual thrëãts and verbal outbursts. Billy gets in his face and asks him to get out of the room if he can’t control his emotions. A face-off ensues and after glancing at Romulo, Catindig walks out.
Meanwhile, Grandma Flora and her family treat themselves to some ice creams in town. Alyana is present, and as the kids recount how Cardo used to take them out, she recalls some moments the entire family had shared together.
Alyana answers Marco’s phone call, and the psyçhö starts questioning her, asking where she is and who she’s with. She mentions her location but gives a vague description of the people she’s with. She then glances at the kids as they continue enjoying their ice creams.
At the hospital, while Hipolito occupies General Borja and faces off with him yet again, Catindig calls a nurse and charges him not to screw up lest he pay big time.
Catindig notifies Hipolito of his plan to use Romulo’s substitute nurse to get rid of him. Said nurse gets his hands on a poïsõnöus substance, just as General Borja spots the çrìminäl duo outside. Back at the ice cream parlor, Alyana has the shock of her life when psyçhö Marco suddenly shows up. She nervously introduces him to Grandma Flora as her boss, and it’s Marco’s turn to be shocked.
Elmo looks excited at the sight of the psyçhö. “Aren’t you the son of the vice president? Can we have a picture with you?”
Yolly stops her husband as he tries to go over for a selfie. Alyana then says goodbye to Flora and the rest of the family, and Marco holds her hand as they leave. Ironically enough, Alyana pulls her hand away, leaving psyçhö Marco shocked for the second time in a row.
She glances back to behold the saddened faces of the Dalisay family, from Grandma Flora right down to the kids. Pacquito in particular glares in a way that suggests that he’s itching for a fîght.
Grandma Flora wipes her tears away as Elmo and the others debate on the incident earlier. This is after Alyana has left with her psyçhö boyfriend. At the housing unit/tenement, the Flower Power Girls pester Miss Becky to agree to their plan of turning in the members of Vendetta for the reward money. Since they have a gig soon, miss Becky merely says that she would work something out later after their gig.
Psyçhö Marco lashes out at Alyana for failing to stand up for him and going out with Cardo’s family without informing him. Alyana argues that she had been invited by the kids who are like family to her. After a few exchange of words, psyçhö Marco demands that Alyana stay away from Cardo’s family. However, Mrs. Dalisay makes it clear that it’s something she can never do.
“You can’t dictate to me what I can and cannot do.”
“But you made a commitment to me!” barks the psyçhö. “Stay away from Cardo’s family! Is that too much to ask?!”
“It’s not that simple,” Alyana argues. “They are an important part of my life.”
“What you’re saying is you’re not ready to forget Cardo.”
The argument drags on, with psyçhö Marco telling Alyana that if she really wants to rid herself of Cardo, then she would forget about his entire family and everything about him. Marco goes ahead to insinuate that Alyana might still love our favorite hero and might be hoping to get back together with him.
At a port somewhere, miss Becky and the Flower Power Girls set off to attend to their clients on the yacht. Romulo reflects on his daughter’s dëath, as well as the mission Vendetta carried out against Senator De Silva. Silently, he mulls over the tough battles he’s been through, confident that he would be getting out of the room he’s been confined in.
The party is on on the yacht and as the Flower Power Girls attend to their clients, some beginning making inappropriate advances while others take in some drûgs. The girls are evidently scared, and even more so when one particular crook tries to make one of the girls take a hit of the drûgs.
“I’m sorry,” miss Becky admonishes the guy. “No drugs. Big no-no for us. Please understand.”
One of the girls urges miss Becky to have them go home since she’s getting scared of the foreigners. Miss Becky then asks the leader to give them their full payment but the guy declares that no one is going anywhere. He shows a güñ to emphasize his point and miss Becky trivializes the matter to make it seem like she had merely been joking. The party then resumes.
Andi makes ready to resume her duties at the hospital, just as General Borja and Billy discuss how they would be able to get the NMIG off the case. Delfin spots the shady substitute nurse as he enters Romulo’s room. As Andi is delayed because she’s compelled to take the stairs, Romulo begins eyeing the nurse as he redraws some fluid from a bottle. Enter General Borja to question him.
The shady nurse claims that it’s just a sedative to help the patient sleep better. Andi enters the room to witness the scene and Romulo’s good reflexes comes in play as he twists the shady guy’s hand when he tries to inject him. Cue General Borja to aim his güñ at shady nurse. Billy and his men then arrest him on the spot. They come across Catindig while escorting the suspect out.
“What’s going on here?”
“This person made an attempt on Romulo Dumaguit’s life,” Delfin states.
“He what?”
General Borja makes a face. “Are you surprised by that, Major?”
Miss Becky receives a phone call from Peng and on the guise of using the washroom, she goes to answer it and informs him of the danger she and the girls are in. “I didn’t know our clients are drüg lords and júnkiës. We’re in the middle of the sea. The name of the yacht is Liberty. You gotta call the police. I’m afraid they might hurt us here.”
A goon catches miss Becky and confronts her at gunpoint, and she makes a futile attempt to mislead him. At the tenement, George hurries to Cardo and his comrades with Peng in tow. He informs them that miss Becky and the girls need their help. Cardo asks what had happened and Peng merely says that they seemed to be in danger.
“Where are they?” asks our favorite hero.
“They’re on a yacht…with their foreign customers. The yacht’s name is Liberty.”
Ramil mentions that he knows where the yacht is docked and Peng pleads with Cardo to do everything to save his mother. After giving him assurance, Cardo and his comrades head out for the impromptu rescue mission.
