“It was like I had a replay of my dreams. I’ll be officially unemployed tomorrow. Finally, I found a job where I work with people who don’t try and judge me all the time. I really hope that won’t change.”
Rica arrives home, only for Nico to excitedly inform her of how their father had gotten drunk. A moment later, Ali comes to see her and they discuss the offer Kyle had made on the rooftop of the Constantino building. Ali urges her to accept already so she wouldn’t have to miss her so much if she moves to Iloilo. Nevertheless, Rica is hesitant to go through with it on account of the initail incident that had occurred on the rooftop.
Rica worries about the viral video and how her would-be coworkers might treat her on account of it. She considers moving to Iloilo and Ali assures her that she would have her back no matter the decision she takes. The girls then excitedly go through a bag Allie had brought along which contains some snacks and a stun güñ, which Nico snatches and uses to give the girls a pretty good scare.
Karla finds that her Face Chat account is still suspended. She has a talk with her husband, apologizing for how he’s being affected by her past life. Still, she states that she doesn’t regret her past and wouldn’t change it for anything in the world because it’s the reason she has Rica in her life.
At Balai Arkitektura, while Chino is blabbering nonstop to Kyle about Raven, Rica shows up out of nowhere. Chino looks on as the two exchange greetings and smiles. While the workers gossip about how ‘the boss’ had chased after ‘the new applicant’ after she hadn’t shown up for the interview, Kyle briefs Rica about the ongoing project.
His father’s name comes up and Rica reveals that the Constantino building and his father were the reason why she had fallen in lôvë with architecture. In no time, Kyle introduces her to the rest of the team.
Bea snubs Pogs after he’s bought two ice creams for her. She excitedly looks forward to giving one to Brax. At Balai Arkitektura (BA), Rose brings Rica to meet Mrs. Gracia. Rica tries to shake the hand of the elderly coworker but she holds back, saying that she has a lot of allergies. She welcomes Rica to BA and hands her an employee information sheet to fill and submit it at the end of the day.
“Mrs. Gracia’s actually nice,” Rose says as they walk away. “Rumor has it, she’s filthy rich and doesn’t even need to work for a living. She’s just bored because she’s a widow. And all her children live abroad with their own families.”
Rose then briefs her about miss May who’s always seen on the phone, arguing. She states that miss May always gets what she wants and Rica says it makes sense since she’s the project manager. Rose then introduces her to the janitor. She later asks what had made her change her mind and Rica turns to stare at Kyle, who’s working in his office, for a while. Enter Chino, who waves at her as he passes by.
Kyle has a meeting with his staff about their current project and tasks Rica to do a quick review of their contacts. Chino takes note of how his friend/boss and the new employee keep staring at each other. In school, Bea thanks Brax for defending her mother some time ago and offers him one of her ice creams.
After he leaves, she notices that he’s dropped a handkerchief. As Pogs observes dejectedly, Bea picks up the thing and runs after Brax, only to see him dumping the ice cream she had just given him into a nearby dustbin. Bea is at a loss for words. Ouch.
At Balai Arkitektura, Rica informs Kyle that she’s confirmed their contacts are reliable, adding that she had included an additional trustworthy one. Once back to her desk, a call comes in from Ali who asks about how things are going.
“They’re alright. They all seem professional.” “There was a ‘but’ somewhere. Is it about your ‘rooftop boss’?” Ali asks. “He’s alright,” Rica replies after stealing a glance at the guy in question. “It’s just that he acts differently. He’s not the same person I met and talked to on the rooftop.”
Bea is at it again with her sweet talking about Brax on Pogs’ account. Meanwhile, Rica is on her way out after work when Chino invites her to join him and the others to go drinking. She turns down the offer and he pulls her back and taunts her, saying that everyone has already seen her video.
Rica turns to see Kyle and her coworkers watching the video on their phones and staring at her simultaneously. Kyle in particular gives her a look of disbelief. Rica jerks awake in bed, panting. As if on cue, her mother slips into her room to ask if she’s okay.
Rica tells her she just had a bad dream. She however attributes her problems to that of a ticking bömb waiting to êxplõde. Karla then assures her that she’s always there for her no matter the circumstance she might find herself.
At Balai Arkitektura, Kyle sketches something on paper and slides it under a box on Rica’s desk. After he’s gone into his office, Rica arrives with Rose, who heads for her desk after some small talk. Rica also heads to her desk and simultaneously, she and Kyle steal glances at each other. She soon finds the sketch Kyle had left her, which gets her all smiling.
Sometime later, Kyle is tense as he awaits the feedback of a client who used to be an old business rival of his father. Kyle receives a phone call from Mr. Fortuna and he talks on the phone with him for a little while. His staff have assembled outside his office, eagerly waiting. Chino has his hands on his head as if he’s about to mourn someone.
Kyle walks out causally and waits for dramatic effect before announcing that they’ve gotten the interview, prompting the workers to jump for joy. Chino then proposes that they celebrate. “We can celebrate once we actually close the deal,” Kyle says. “But for now, I need everyone at their best.”
Miss May taunts Chino and once he turns around, she slams a plate of cake in his place. The others join in on the fun and laugh along as they smear cake on each other. Rica blends in and seems to be enjoying herself. A moment later on her way out, she’s texting Ali about how she’s starting to like the place when Chino comes up to her and asks her to join them for some drinks.
Recalling her vivid dream and the similar mannerisms of Chino and Jigs, Rica explodes, saying that she doesn’t want to. She hurries out as the other workers look on curiously. Outside, Rica encounters a motorcyclist who accidentally splashes water on her. She lashes out at him and the guy apologizes.
Indifferent, Rica turns to leave and when the guy follows her, she pulls out her stun güñ and uses it on him. The unfortunate guy falls down and as he groans in pain, Kyle comes upon the scene. He helps the guy, who he calls Axel, up his feet and asks what had happened. Turns out Axel’s BA’s senior architect. Axel takes off his helmet and stares at Rica for a while.
“She dropped her phone,” Axel begins. “I was just trying to give it back, but then she tased me.” “Sorry, I just thought you were…” Rica snatches her phone from the floor and runs off, ignoring Kyle as he calls out to her.
Later that night, Rica hangs out with Ali at a park somewhere, worried that she might get fired tomorrow because of the incident earlier. Ali can’t help but to laugh before admonishing her friend. Rica reveals that she had acted out that way because she had had a really bad nightmare that seemed similar to how Chino had invited her out earlier for drinks.
“It was so similar. It was like I had a replay of my dreams. As for the other guy, I thought he was stalking me. Turns out he was just trying to return my phone.” “What if there was an elderly man following you, who just needed help and asked you for directions?” Ali asks, pacing up and down. “What would you have done? What if a friend or your mother you didn’t know was trying to say hi? Would you have tased him too, huh?
“Of course I wouldn’t have. I just panicked for a bit.” “So when you panic, you attāck?”
“All I know is that I’ll be officially unemployed tomorrow.” Ali begs to differ. “I don’t think so. Just explained to them what happened.”
“And how am I supposed to do that without… without having to bring up what happened to me? Before today became a scene from Godzilla, I really had a great day. Finally, I found a job where I work with people who don’t try and judge me all the time. I really hope that won’t change.”
Jigs goes to a club with some friends and strikes up a conversation with one of their girlfriends. Upon noticing, the girl’s guy comes to send her away and demands that Jigs shouldn’t talk to her. Recalling what Archie had told them all before, Jigs strongly insists that he isn’t a rāpīst. He shāmelëssly goes on to claim that he didn’t räpê Rica or Ella.
“Do we now?” the friend taunts, getting in his face before walking out. Jigs sits back down with the others, looking all stupified as the episode concludes.
