He then advances and begins ki$$ing her but before things can get serious, a knock interrupts him. The Scorpion comes out pretty annoyed, only to learn from Roldan that he has a visitor. It’s Catindig who’s come to ask for updates on Dalisay. A few choice words are exchanged.
Hipolito sits in the comfort of his campaign headquarters, deliberating and wondering who among his top dogs would get their hands on Cardo and his comrades first. At MC Digital, Menchu criticizes Alyana over how people have been bashing Marco online because he had taken her to the palace. Psyçhö Marco comes upon the scene and isn’t the least bit happy.
Vice president Lucas Cabrera has a talk with his wife over the very same issue, worried about the possibility of his political foes using it against him. Catherine however is confident that people would move on from that and have something else to gossip about.
Meanwhile, psyçhö Marco assures Alyana that he doesn’t care about the bad publicity that comes with her connection with our favorite hero. He then offers a more speedier approach to have their marriage annulled.
Cardo tasks Anton to look after the injured guys while the rest of them head over to the hospital. At camp Crame, General Borja and his men deliberate on Hipolito’s interference with the case involving Romulo. In no time, the General receives a phone call from Jerome.
A moment later at CIDG headquarters, Jerome and Soriano reveal that per their investigation, different kinds of weãpöns had been used to go against Cardo’s group.
“Maybe they went up against several people,” Billy remarks. “Not just Hipolito.” “Well it was really hard to believe that he took them all on by himself,” Delfin states.
“Why would he claim that he faced the vigilantes alone?” Soriano asks.
“To improve his image for the elections, so the public can see him as a hero.”
Jerome then butts in. “The question is, who really helped Hipolito attāck Cardo’s group?” “That is what we need to figure out,” Delfin declares. Catindig and Homer have a wär of words over the way to defeat the enemy. Words get ugly and güñs are pulled out, but unfortunately, they do not get to be used.
At the housing unit, Tadpole and his other comrades who had stayed behind watch as the ladies work out. Meanwhile, Cardo and his comrades find the hospital swarming with police and soldiers, and thus, they decide to go back and plan their entry carefully.
While Elmo, Paco and the other members of the Dalisay household watch captain Gina’s campaign online and express their disgust over the actions of the corrupt official, 2nd Lady Catherine pounces on her designer for his failure to make her an exclusive dress.
Pîssëd off that the 1st Lady had worn the same dress as her at the palace, she roughs up the designer and vows to dëstrõy his career. Bubbles who had witnessed the hostile scene earlier questions Homer and he tells her about Hipolito, saying that everything they enjoy comes from him.
As Roldan listens in, Homer states that they need to follow all the orders of the Vulture. He then swëârs her to secrecy. Speaking of, Hipolito fails to notice Cardo’s group as he drives them to the hospital. Back at the safe house, Roldan asks Homer about the incident earlier.
“…we can trust her, Roldan.”
“Are you sure, Homer? She ran away from you before. She’s only after your money.” Homer takes offense and acts out. “Bubbles aren’t like that! She’s in this house for me!”
“I’m just worried about the safety of our group,” Roldan says. “That woman might rat you out.”
“How about you shut up? Bubbles will never betray me. And keep your nose out of my damn business!”
Cardo returns with his group to the hideout and informs the others about how the hospital is locked up tight. General Olegario speculates that the authorities might be lying in wait for them. She then urges that they carry out their mission as soon as possible since it would be harder for them to break Romulo out once he’s sent to jail.
At the hospital, Hipolito finds Romulo supposedly passed out from the sedatives he had been given. After learning from the nurse that the commander should have been awake by now, the Vulture slithers back into the room and grabs him by the chin. Turns out Romulo had been faking unconsciousness. Hipolito thrëãtens him and presses hard on his wounds.
The members of Vendetta deliberate on how they would be able to rescue the commander. Meanwhile, Brandon notifies his father of the arrival of their latest shipment which should be their biggest transaction so far. Mr. Vice president urges him to make sure there are no problems since the police have been after their supply. Great, there goes another rōtten government official.
Psyçhö Marco offers to take Alyana home after work but she’s quite reluctant to oblige. Out of nowhere comes a troop of reporters who press for details about Alyana’s alleged break up with Cardo. When they don’t get much to go on, they pester Marco about his relationship with her, and Alyana announces that they’re just good friends. Psyçhö Marco is at a loss for words.
“That woman will dëstrõy your family’s good reputation,” Menchu tells Catherine at home. “But if I don’t support Marco’s relationship, he would dëstrõy himself.” “In the end, the decision is still yours to make.”
President Hidalgo discusses with his wife the recent chaotic happenings in the country. He asks if she thinks he’s fulfilling his duties properly. Marissa replies in the affirmative, saying that he’s a very good president. Oscar looks forward to having a normal life in three years after a new president is elected.
While the members of Vendetta try to come up with a foolproof plan to rescue Romulo, Andi shows up to check up on the wounded members. With the captain campaigning in a different neighborhood, Elmo and Paco break into her house in an attempt to find some incriminating evidence against her. Elmo is frightened by a stand-in (an erected photo of Gina). When tension subsides, the guys begin searching the house.
General Olegario confirms his link to Cardo and promises to give Romulo protection, he asks that he tell him everything he needs to know. Like an irritating chronic sickness, Hipolito shows his face to ask what he’s doing there. Delfin announces that the PNP chief has given the CIDG the go signal to coordinate with the NDA. He then provides proof as Romulo stares causally and silently.
Hipolito doesn’t even bother to see what’s in the envelope. “I’ll have a word with the NDA about this.” “You don’t have to waste your time,” Delfin shoots back. “You can’t do anything about it. You shouldn’t have been part of this investigation in the first place.”
Hipolito walks out in shame and annoyance, and Delfin turns back to Romulo, and a staring contest ensues. Meanwhile, Andi is on her way out of the hideout when Cardo calls out to her and thanks her for all her help.
Our favorite hero then begins glancing at her up and down, his eyes taking unusual interest in her nurse uniform. After she leaves, Cardo broods for a little while before turning to Diana. “General, I just came up with an idea of how we can enter the hospital.”
Hipolito informs Catindig about how General Borja had succeeded in getting back on Romulo’s case. He urges his puppeteer to locate and capture Cardo before he’s exposed. Catindig says his men are lying in wait at the hospital for our favorite hero to show up.
Meanwhile, Diana asks Cardo if he’s sure about his plan and Cardo gives her assurance, saying that it isn’t really their first rodeo. Diana asks how they would go about it and our favorite hero says that only one of them should get into the hospital.
