“Nathan and Gino keep competing to win Dani’s affection while Gary tried to embarrass Nathan but he leaves defeated after Nathan turns the table on him”.
Nathan arrives at Platinum Builders to pick Dani out for lunch to thank her properly. He sees Gino there and quickly puts his hands on Dani’s shoulders as they leave angering Gino. At the restaurant, Nathan asks Dani about her job as they chit chat.
The waiter informs them they have a special promo ongoing for couples. Dani said they weren’t a couple but when the waiter said it was 40% discount Dani tells him they are a couple and only keeping it a secret.
The waiter decides to take a picture of them and tells them to get closer. Gino arrives at the restaurant and pretends to be surprised to see them there and offers to join them so Dani accepts.
Gino tells Nathan that he heard his car shop is picking up and hopes he doesn’t mess up again since he has a tendency of taking on more than necessary but Nathan tells him that one can handle everything if they have trust worthy staff and he has learnt a lot from him and his dad.
Nathan decides to pay for lunch so does Gino as they begin to fight over it so Dani paid and excuses herself. Gino tells Nathan not to drag Dani into their problem but Nathan said he is not using her and maybe it’s rather him and his father after they tried to blow up the shelter.
Gino said he has no evidence but Nathan said he will find some soon and he is just afraid knowing very well that Dani will come back to him. Gino said after everything that happened in the past Dani won’t go back to him because he always get what he wants but Nathan said he is yet to defeat him and not even close as Gino looks at him angrily.
At the shop, James asks Nathan what he will do since Dani works with Gino and he is with her every single day but Nathan said he won’t back down or let Gino beat him. Janice interrupts asking if Nathan really wants to win Dani over or just wants to get back at Gino because Dani isn’t a prize he will go for just to prove a point.
Later, Gino goes to Dani’s office to apologize to her about what happened earlier so Dani tells him that she hopes he and Nathan will patch things up and get along. Gino said he only intervened because he was worried about how close Nathan is becoming to her and is scared she will be swayed and go through the same pain again since Nathan just wants to use her to compete with him.
Later, Nathan thinks about what Janice said when James interrupted him and asked what his reason for making amends with Dani. Nathan said just to thank her properly and it’s Gino’s problem if he thinks he is competing with him for Dani’s feelings.
The Next Day, Watashi tells Regina they need to wake Dani up after seeing James and Nathan washing her car but Regina refuses. Right then Dani arrives and sees them. Nathan said they wanted to apologize for what happened at the restaurant.
Watashi said one point for Gino and one point for Nathan but Regina just doesn’t like Nathan for hurting Dani and tells her to demand an explanation.
At a restaurant, Dani tells Raquel what happened and Raquel teases her for being a catch that they are fighting over and believes they will be back together soon. Gino arrives interrupting him and asked what they are discussing but they quickly changed the topic.
Gino arrives home to meet Gary arranging the profiles of Dani’s family so tells Gary to leave Dani’s family alone but Gary tells him he will use whoever he wants to use to take Nathan down and won’t think twice to use Dani’s own family making Gino worried.
Nathan jogs to Dani’s house early in the morning to give her bread as Gino looks at them angrily. Regina comes down with Watashi saying she saw everything so asks Dani if Nathan is courting her again because she doesn’t like him but Watashi likes Nathan.
Nathan arrives at the shop panting so Janice gives him some water as Nathan tells them he went jogging so James asks Janice to go jogging with him one day but she refuses.
After work, Nathan and Gino wait for Dani outside the office to take her to her gig and she allows them to join her. Janice goes through the pictures of Dani and Nathan that was taken during the opening as James arrives telling her Nathan isn’t there.
James offered to take her home but Janice refused so he asked if she was fine. Later, Dani’s friends wondered what Nathan and Gino were doing there together.
James wanted to take Janice home when Gerry and AJ arrive and Gerry teases James for not giving up. James said no one gives up on l0ve but Janice said sometimes you give up if you feel there is no hope. Elsewhere, at the club the friends decide to set up a beer game between Gino and Nathan to drink.
The two were drunk as Dani drives them both home. Dani brings Gino home to Gary and does the same for Nathan who begs Dani to dance with him as James arrives thinking it was a thief until he sees Nathan with Dani and thanks her for bringing him home. The Next Day, Nathan had a hangover when he came to the shop so Janice tells him to stay in bed instead as James begins to act out what he did last night with Dani.
Janice gives him their shelter accounts and some documents to check. Watashi and Dani were at the shop when they saw Nathan coming so Dani quickly hides and Watashi tells Nathan she is not around.
Nathan said he just wanted to talk to Dani about what happened last night and give her some pie. After he left, a delivery guy arrived with Gino’s delivery for Dani so Watashi asked if they are trying to get to her heart through her stomach.
Gary scolds Gino for coming home drunk and with Dani as he tells him he is on his way to the shelter but promises never to cause trouble
At the shelter, some volunteers were there when Gary arrived accusing Nathan of using charity and the kids to clean up his damaged reputation but Nathan smartly introduces him to the kids as he leaves defeated and Gino spies on him.
Later, Nathan receives a text from Dani thanking him for the pie so Nathan asks Janice what he will do if she wants to patch things with someone. Janice tells him to tell her what he really feels whether she believes him or not. At the shop, Nathan tells James and Janice that the police still have no evidence to implicate Gino but said they will keep him posted.
