At home, Noah gets nightmares so Fina takes care of him and he begs Fina to promise never to leave him so Fina promises him. Later, Greco arrived at the location but Oscar was nowhere to be found so he called his phone which is with Lucio. The Next Day, Greco arrives at the NBI to see Oscar’s d£ad body there.
At her office, Matilda thanks Titong for always finding a way out to help them. At the NBI, Yandro tells Fina and Armand that he is looking into other leads like Barbara’s syndicate and they need to use a different approach to find Joy.
Dolores tells Louis that Fina wants to go on their program again since she wants to gather some information on Barbara’s syndicate but she doesn’t know what to do because the more she helps out Fina the more Juris will hate her so she doesn’t know how to make it up to Juris and it’s good there is a change in the direction of the investigation to that syndicate. Louis suggests she tells Fina the truth about Juris.
At night, Dolores is in deep thoughts thinking about Juris’s words so sends Fina a text message about wanting to tell her something important. The Next Day, Dolores goes to see Juris begging for an opportunity to make it up to her so Juris tells her to stop helping Fina if she wants forgiveness. Drei spies on them and sees them arguing so barging in where he finds out that Dolores is Juris’s mother.
Later, Drei tells Dolores how shocking it sounds that she is Juris’s mom as she narrates everything to him and begs him to help her reconcile with Juris. At home, Juris tells Drei to ignore everything that Dolores told him since it doesn’t matter and she doesn’t have room for Dolores in her life. Drei tells her to open up to her mom and asks what she will do about Dolores so Juris said she will use Dolores and her guilt to her advantage.
At the NBI, an officer tells Greco about the time Oscar’s body was dropped off but there was no cellphone on him. Elsewhere, Fina goes on Tv again to ask for the public’s help in case someone has any information about Barbara and the syndicate she was involved in and leaves a phone number as a man watches the news from jail.
Fina thanks Armand, Dolores and Louis for their constant help and Dolores said she hopes that shifting the investigation to Barbara’s syndicate will help locate Joy. Fina asked about the message she sent wanting to talk about something but Dolores said it’s nothing. Right then, the man called from jail saying he was part of the syndicate that Barbara was linked to and he also knows what happened to Fina’s child so Dolores needs to come to prison to look for Gaston.
Armand tells Dolores that they need to go see him right away and tell Yandro but Dolores suggests she goes to see him first and she will keep them updated. Elsewhere, Gaylord takes his oath of office to the applause of his parents and everyone present. At the Del Rio Mansion, Lucio shows Lolita a picture of Oscar’s b0dy and tells her he was Greco’s informant who was trying to gather information to pin him down but his dead so she should tell Greco he won’t get any dirt on him.
Gaylord calls Lolita but Lucio picks up the call and Lolita tells him to delete her number and stop calling as Gaylord becomes worried. Lucio then hurts Lolita asking why Gaylord called.
At city hall, Juris asks Drei to withdraw his candidacy and leave with her and Leyna since it isn’t safe anymore but Drei said he can’t let go of his dream to serve his country. Juris said she understands him but she is just scared about what Lolita told them about Lucio having evidence against them.
Dolores tells Louis that she needs to go to jail to talk to Gaston before he talks to Yandro and Fina since it might incriminate Juris and her friends so as a mother she has to protect her daughter because helping Fina will only hinder her reconciliation with her daughter and she is only doing what any mother will.
Fina and Noah visit Christy to check up on her. Christy tells Fina about a couple wanting to adopt her so Fina said maybe she will be better off with them as Christy promised that Fina will always be her mother.
Dolores holds Juris picture frame and promises to do everything to gain her forgiveness as she arrives in jail to speak to Gaston. He asks for Dolores help to get out of prison in exchange for his information. Gaston tells Dolores that Barbara used to work for Locas which is the name of their syndicate and their boss ordered him to k!ll Barbara since she wanted to transfer to their rival group and take the baby to Locas but Barbara found out the truth about him and was trying to escape with that baby as flashbacks are shown.
Gaston $hot Barbara and was about to take the baby when he saw a car approaching but he only saw one of the passengers and it was Drei shocking her. Later, Dolores plays the recording to Louis shocking her and they conclude that the friends caused the accident and have Fina’s baby but Dolores said Juris is Drei’s wife and Juris would also be held liable for that accident and inasmuch as she wants to help Fina she doesn’t want her daughter to get into trouble.
Matilda goes to see Juris bragging about how the new lawyer of her last client was able to drop the case against the congressman’s son and agrees to an out of court settlement shocking Juris who said she only did what’s right as they begin to exchange words with Juris reminding her that even if she leaves distance won’t stop her from being Drei’s wife.
Fina visits Dolores asking if she spoke to Gaston but she lied to her that Gaston had no information to help them so Fina asked for his name so she can go talk to him herself but Dolores refuses saying he doesn’t want her to give his name out as Fina looks at her suspiciously. At the NBI, Fina tells Yandro about what Dolores told her and that she has a feeling Dolores doesn’t want them to talk to that witness.
Gaylord visits Lucio at his office since he is concerned about Lolita and him locking her up but Lucio thr£atens him with the CCTV footage and that he can release it anything and easily destroy him so he shouldn’t dare challenge him or meddle in their lives. Later, Greco goes to see Gaylord to talk about his visit to Lucio so Greco tells him about his final plan to take Lolita and the kids away but Gaylord tells him not to since it will push Lucio to surrender the footage to the police.
The Next Day, Dolores meets up with Juris at a restaurant to confront her about what they did to Barbara five years ago since she knows the truth and also knows they took Fina’s child but Juris denies it. At the Del Rio mansion, Lucio tells Lolita about Gaylord’s visit and that they are all just worried about the evidence he has against them so Lolita begs him to leave her friends out of their mess since she won’t leave him but Lucio reiterates it to her that he owns her and she can’t leave and for¢es himself on her again.
The friends meet up to discuss Dolores witness and fears that once Yandro talks to that eye witness they will all be in serious trouble. Greco said he has an idea to make him shut up but Juris tells them that Dolores will take care of it since she has some dirt on her so she will do anything she wants. Later, a disguised Greco arrives at the Del Rio mansion.
