“Marissa reveals the whole truth to Gabriel and Lucing about Jake not being her son, Gabriel packs out of the Ceñidoza mansion, Ellice files a case against Marissa while Jake regains consciousness”.
Hope goes to Jake’s ward, she tells him to open his eyes because Marissa has already changed and everyone needs him but she needs him the most and she can’t let him leave her after showing her l*ve since he makes her happy.
At Ceñidoza, Belen and Ellice held a meeting with Rio and Chona. Belen said Chona’s statement will be used as evidence against Marissa for spying on Ceñidoza’s activities but Ellice said it’s not the right time for that. Later, Belen asks Ellice if she has forgotten what Marissa did to her when Hope’s life was in danger but Ellice said it’s not the right to sue her since she knows how it feels when one’s child is in danger.
At the hospital, the doctor tells Gabriel and Avel that Jake needs a blood donor and it should be someone from his family as Gabriel flashbacks to when he made a paternity acknowledgment for Jacob. He tells the doctor that he has the same blood type so he will donate his blood.
Later, Avel tells Marissa that Gabriel is at the laboratory to donate his blood to Jake as Marissa becomes shocked and leaves for the laboratory. The doctor gives the results to Gabriel that he and Jake are not a match because Gabriel is AB negative and Jake is B positive and he doesn’t understands why.
Ellice arrives at the hospital, she asks Avel of Gabriel’s whereabouts and he said he’s at the lab with Marissa. Elsewhere Marissa approaches Gabriel and he asks her why he and Jake are not a match because Ramon donated blood for Jacob years back when he was sick and they had the same blood type and asks the meaning so can’t understand why they are not a match.
A crying Marissa hugs Gabriel as Ellice arrives. She becomes angry at Marissa for hugging Gabriel and tries to fight her but Gabriel stops them. Marissa tells Gabriel that Jacob died 18 years ago after some one wanted her dead and Jacob was hit by a stray bullet and she had no choice but to bury him as Ellice flashbacks to when she ordered Cesar to k!ll Marissa and becomes scared.
Gabriel asks Marissa the person who wanted to k!ll her and Marissa tells him it was Ellice who wanted her dead. Gabriel then asks Ellice if Marissa is saying the truth but Ellice becomes frightened and says she didn’t mean to as she leaves. Marissa apologizes to Gabriel but he didn’t utter a word and leaves. A crying Ellice arrives at where her car was parked and flashbacks to the truth Marissa just revealed. Elsewhere, Gabriel sits on the stairs and flashbacks to the earlier revelation from Marissa.
In his ward, Hope cries asking Jake to regain consciousness as Jake moves his fingers and opens his eyes. Elsewhere, Cesar and Red drink some wine as Red gives his tablet to Cesar who watches Marissa talking to the public that anyone who finds Cesar will be rewarded. Cesar then calls Marissa and lied to her that it’s Ellice who ordered him to k!ll Jake and leave Hope.
Elsewhere at the Ceñidoza Mansion, Gabriel becomes angry at Ellice for k!lling his son Jacob and refuses to accept her apology packs up his bags and leaves. At the hospital, Marissa thanks Hope for helping Jake to regain his consciousness.
Later, Gabriel arrives at the Villarosa Mansion with his belongings and the Villarosa’s become disappointed with Ellice because they didn’t expect her to do that and Sonya said she always knew that there’s something fishy about Ellice.
The Villarosas were shocked asking Sonya if she knew all along that Jake isn’t the real Jacob and Sonya apologizes that she didn’t want any problems. Gabriel becomes angry at Sonya for hiding the truth from him and betraying her family. Cristina tells Gabriel that Hope called that Jake is awake but Gabriel said he’s glad to hear that but he’s not ready to face him as he leaves.
At the hospital, Lucing asks Marissa if there’s something wrong and Marissa said there’s something she needs to know.
At the Ceñidoza Mansion, Ellice tells Belen that it’s all her fault but she doesn’t know whether Hope will forgive her if she finds out the truth and they are both going to leave her. Belen tells Ellice not to worry because Marissa is just looking for someone to blame to wash away all her guilt and Ellice did nothing wrong since she has already given her a chance because her son’s condition but she’s taking away her family.
Ellice tells Belen that Jake is better now but Belen said Marissa has gotten what she wants by using Hope and Gabriel’s sympathy and Ellice shouldn’t feel sorry since her family is leaving her because of Marissa.
At the hospital, Lucing becomes disappointed after hearing the truth and Marissa apologized for what she has done. A crying Lucing said she didn’t imagine that someone tried to k!ll Marissa and she didn’t get the chance to protect them. Marissa hugs Lucing and tells her that it’s Ellice because Cesar has already confirmed that it’s her who ordered him to k!ll Jacob. Lucing tells Marissa that it’s time for them to face Ellice so she pays for all the damages she has caused them.
Later, Marissa and Lucing visit Jake at his ward. Jake apologized to Lucing for lying to her but Lucing said no matter what happens he’s still her grandson. Jake asks Marissa if Gabriel knows the truth and Marissa says yes. Jake asked if that’s why he’s not there as Marissa cries and Lucing hugs her.
At the Ceñidoza Mansion, Hope approaches Ellice asking why she’s restless and Ellice said Gabriel has left her for good. Hope tells her that she knows she’s the one who k!lled Jacob that’s why she is more angry at her since she chose Ellice to be her rolemodel but she doesn’t know she’s capable of k!lling innocent people.
A crying Ellice begs Hope to allow her explain but Hope said no matter the explanation Jacob won’t come back to life again as she leaves and Belen arrives. Belen consoles Ellice to calm down but Ellice said it’s impossible for her to bring Jacob back to life again but it’s all Marissa’s fault since she didn’t intend to k!ll Jacob.
Marissa receives a lawsuit from the Ceñidoza’s for spying on their company. Later, an angry Marissa and Lucing arrive at the Ceñidoza mansion. Alfred, RJ, Chari and Hope visit Jake at the hospital. Hope tells Jake she wished Gabriel took her along because she’s left alone with Ellice and Belen. Chari asks Hope why she kept their location from Marissa and Ellice and Hope said they don’t want to be part of their mess because someone tried to k!ll them. Alfred asks Jake if he knows the person who wanted to k!ll them but they have no idea since they ended up k!lling the old woman who helped them so RJ asks if Marissa and Ellice has something to do with that.
At the Ceñidoza Mansion, Belen advises Ellice to continue her fight with Marissa since she hasn’t done anything wrong as Ellice thanks her for helping and being by her side as they hug.
At the Villarosa Mansion, Hope asks Gabriel to visit Jake even though he’s not Jacob because he’s just a victim and Gabriel l*ved him as his real son. Gabriel said he lied to him and that has really hurt him but Hope said his intentions are good and only lied to him because of Marissa. Sonya said she has already l0ved him as her nephew and he’s a good person who saved Hope’s life.
Later,Marissa calls the media and tells them that she wants to reveal every truth regarding Ellice to the public. Elsewhere Hope visits Jake and Jake asks her if she has talked to Gabriel already as Gabriel arrives at the ward. At the Mansion, Ellice receives the notification of the public addressing her as a murderer and becomes scared.
Elsewhere, Jake thanks Gabriel for visiting him and apologized to him. Gabriel said he lied to him but he will still l0ve him as his son though he’s not the real Jacob. Jake said he has never had a father in his entire life but Gabriel l0ved him as his real son as Marissa spies on them.
At Ceñidoza, Ellice fires Tutti for spreading false rumors about her and family in the office as Tutti cries saying she didn’t do anything wrong. At the hospital, Marissa thanks Gabriel for visiting Jake and for still addressing him as his son. Gabriel said they’ve lied to him but he can’t stop l0ving Jake as Ellice arrives calling Marissa a bastard. Gabriel asks her the real problem and Marissa asks if she is talking about ordering Cesar to k!ll Jake.
Ellice said she has nothing to do with that but Marissa said she already knows that she ordered Cesar to k!ll Jake and leave Hope. Gabriel asks Ellice to tells him the truth but she says she didn’t order such a thing and he should believe her. Gabriel said it is hard for him to believe Ellice so Ellice tells Gabriel to continue siding with Marissa because they truly deserve each other as she leaves.
In her car, Ellice flashbacks to all the truths unfolding and concludes that if Marissa wants to fight a war then she will give her just that.
