“Gabriel investigates Belen again since he does not trust her, Marissa refuses k!ll Ellice to satisfy Adelina, Ellice presses charges against Marissa while Red finds the kids”
Belen calls Cesar and becomes angry at him that the kids slipped away, Cesar tells her to calm down because they’re still looking for them. Belen tells him to hurry up since time isn’t on their side as Gabriel arrives asking her who she’s talking to but Belen said it’s a friend of hers offering to help them find Hope.
Gabriel asks who is that but Belen asks him if he suspicious of her because she’s concerned about Hope too. Gabriel said he really hopes and prays that her friend will help find them as he leaves while Cesar is still on the phone listening in on them. At the forest, Jake and Hope arrive at the hut again to beg the old lady to allow them rest because they’re enemies out there chasing after them so the old lady tells them to stay for the night.
Elsewhere, Avel calls Marissa to asks if she’s sure she wants him to go after Cesar first instead of looking for the kids and Marissa said if they don’t find out Cesar’s plans then it may be difficult for them to find the kids. In the forest, the old lady sings and cries as Hope and Jakes become sad and cry too. They wake up early in the morning to prepare some food.
Gabriel meets up with his private investigator, he gives him Belen’s number to find out who she spoke to and to make sure the person who’s finding his kids don’t have any bad intentions. Later, Cesar calls Red ordering him to go into the bush to find the children.
Jake massages the old lady and serves her the food they prepared and she tells them not to buy anything from the nearby shop if only they want to stay there longer. At the Ceñidoza Mansion, Ellice thanks Agatha for all her help and Agatha said she’s making it up to her as Agatha receives a call from the officers who tell them to come to the police station as they leave.
At the condo, Lucing tells Marissa that she will go with her to find Hope and Jake but Marissa said she should stay behind. They hear a knock at the door and Marissa is informed that Adelina wants to see her.
Jake picks up a picture frame of the lady with her family and asks her who those in the picture are but the old lady sets a rule and tells him not to ask her any questions about her or her past. Later, Marissa arrives at Adelina’s house. Adelina said she knows she’s busy with her son’s disappearance but she wants her to k!ll Ellice. Marissa asks her to give her some time and Adelina says she should do it before her breath ceases since she has limited time.
In the hut, Hope tells Jake that she has realized that she was obligated to cook only in the house but now she has to do everything on her own and flashbacks to her time with Lucing and when Ellice has a fight with Marissa. She then tells Jake that it’s better for them to stay there even if it’s hard.
Gabriel meets up with his private investigator in his car who gives him Belen’s contacts and the last person she called. Gabriel asks him if he knows the last person she called but he says he has no idea what Gabriel flashbacks to when he sees Belen making a call.
In the car, a crying Ellice tells Agatha that ever since Marissa came into their life every secret that they’ve hidden from Hope was exposed and it hurts because Hope has nothing to do with their conflict. Agatha advises Ellice to patch things up with Marissa after Hope is found but Ellice said she won’t ever do that and it will be over her dead body.
Elsewhere besides a river bank, Hope asks Jake why many people are after them and what they want because they’ve tried to run away from trouble but trouble still comes to them. Jake said he has no clue and encouraged her that he will never abandon her and they were about to ki$$ when the old lady interrupted them asking what they were doing.
When they arrive in the house Jake sees some policemen coming and runs to hide in the hut. The officers then approach the old lady and give her a picture of Hope and Jake asking if she has seen them around but she lies to them that she hasn’t seen them as they leave.
At home, Gabriel calls Helena that he doesn’t trust Belen and Cesar because Belen always talks to him. Helena said maybe they were linked to criminals and Gabriel needs to be extra careful but Gabriel said he won’t allow anyone to hurt his children and Helena tells him that she doesn’t think Belen will hurt her own granddaughter.
Inside the hut, the woman approaches Jake and Hope asking whether they’re criminals and if that’s why the police are after them but they said they’ve not. She picks her ¢utlass to throw them out but Jake said they don’t want to go back to the city that’s why they decided to hide themselves and doesn’t want to be caught and begs her to allow them stay tonight. The woman said she doesn’t want any trouble so they should leave or else their parents will press a charge against her for kidnapping.
In a car, Lucing flashback to when she became restless after Marissa’s disappearance and tells Marissa that she doesn’t want to lose her grandson again. Marissa encourages her that they will find them and Lucing said she wishes Marissa and Ellice come back together as friends and Marissa said she wishes the same.
The Next Day, Hope thanks the woman for allowing them to stay there and apologizes for the trouble they caused her as they leave. Red arrives there looking at them. Elsewhere Marissa visits Adelina. She tells Marissa that she doesn’t have much time and she wants Ellice dead now. Marissa said she’s sorry she can’t k!ll Ellice and Adelina said she has no sense of gratitude because she gave her whatever she wanted and can’t believe that’s how she will repay her.
Marissa tells her that she has lost her child because she made anger consume her and she doesn’t want to loss Jake too but she will let Ellice pay for it in some other way. Adelina said Marissa has really disappointed her because she didn’t fulfill her promise and she didn’t save her life to fail her this way. A crying Marissa said she considered her to be her mother and she admits that she promised even to k!ll for her but she doesn’t want to end up like her as she leaves.
At the Ceñidoza Mansion, Belen tells Ellice to calm down and if Marissa finds Jake the company will still be hers but Ellice said she doesn’t care about that and what matters is to find Hope. Belen offers to take Ellice’s position in the company for the time being and Ellice said she’s counting on her as they hug and Belen smiles.
Marissa’s attorney calls her that Ellice has filed a case against her and wants to clear the sale of shares in her position as Marissa becomes shocked flashing back to when Adelina ordered her to deliver Ellice’s h£ad on a platter. She then soliloquies that Ellice is making it difficult for her.
Later, Marissa goes to the attorney that she has already dropped the case against Ellice but her attorney said Ellice is now claiming that Marissa got her shares under duress. Elsewhere, Avel goes in search of Hope and Jake and flashbacks to when Marissa said she can’t loss her son again and when he proposed to Marissa as he continues searching.
In the bush, Jake tells Hope that they should move around if they find a car. Red then calls Cesar that he has found the kids and Cesar becomes happy as the call hangs. Red then turns and decides to $hoot the kids as they look at Red in shock.
