“We get to see how Nathan rose to become a millionaire after all the challenges he went through and Dani a strong willed girl who fights for what she believes in as they meet in the most awkward situation”.
The series begins with a celebration in a community. A pretty lady Dani tells her uncle Kap Watashi that she needs to go because she’s getting late for her internship application. On her way to the company, Dani was almost run over by a car. The driver of the car introduces himself to her as James but Dani was angry at him for almost running over her. James’s boss named Nathan Capistrano calls him that it’s getting late so they need to leave.
There was a large demonstration going on at Nathan’s company when Dani arrived. Inside, Nathan holds a meeting with the employees who want an increment in their minimal wage. However, Nathan tells them to work harder if they want an increment because he used to be poor but he worked harder to get to where he is now.
Dani enters the building to meet James again who asks her that if it’s their destiny to keep crossing paths and asks what she’s doing there and she said she is there for her internship application. The receptionist tells Dani that she can’t go in without an appointment so James tells her to hand over her resume so that he can submit it on her behave but Dani said she doesn’t believe him. James said he works in the same building so Dani hands over her resume to him.
Nathan confines in one of his employees Gino that when he was hustling like them, he didn’t waste his precious time on a strike but focused on working hard. Later, Dani arrives home, her family asks her how her internship application went and Dani informs them of the protest at one of the companies she went to.
Her mom Regina said obviously the employees are not happy with the company or they’re not paid what there are supposed to and probably the people in charge don’t care about their workers as her uncle kap watashi interrupts that she should exercise patience.
Regina then asks Dani why she applied to that company knowing very well they are having a problem. Dani tells her parents that the company offers the best benefits with allowance and after graduation there’s a big chance of getting a regular job so it’s a big opportunity.
In his car, Nathan flashbacks to what the employee told him during their meeting accusing him of exploiting his workers to amass wealth and ask why his heart has turned to stone after coming from the slums too. Nathan also flashbacks to when he lost his father and his mom abandoned him and his siblings as she leaves them in the care of a woman who kicks them out because his mom didn’t send her money for upkeep as promised.
Nathan and his siblings had to sleep on the streets, his sister got sick because they didn’t have enough food to eat and needed surgery, how he had to sell a part of his 0rgan to feed them. He then decided to work as a mechanic assisting a mechanic named Gary who decided to give him an opportunity to fix an old car.
Some years later, he was all grown up and James praises him for co-owning a car business with Gary after starting from nothing. James tells him about some missing funds in the company. They were still talking when tax officers arrived accusing them of not paying their taxes.
Later, Nathan told Gary that he will like to take him to rehab because of his drinking and gambling addiction and doesn’t want him to destroy his life and that of his sons and he will pay for it but Gary got angry saying he made him and it’s because of him that he is not on the streets.
Nathan wasn’t happy since Gary changed after his wife’s death but Gary calls him a beggar as an angry Nathan opted to buy his shares because he turned the company around and asked him to leave before he sends him to jail for embezzlement as Gary leaves with his son promising to take his revenge on Nathan as he promised James that he won’t trust anyone as all the employees quit because Gary left but Nathan promised himself to rebuild the company and promised to make his enemies pay.
Later, James and Nathan were involved in an accident as they are rushed to the hospital. While unconscious Nathan flashbacks to when his man returned after some years but he sent her away saying they don’t need her.
In her room, Dani takes a picture of her dad and mom and says everything she is doing she wants them to be proud of her and promises to make something out of herself as she looks on the wall and promises to go to Golden Builders company the next day.
Nathan regains consciousness surrounded by his l*ved ones as James is brought in saying he is still alive. Nathan decides to go back to work and tells James to get better or he will hire someone. In Dani’s community, they were exercising when Dani arrived to inform them that her friend Racquel promised her a side job so she will go meet her. Elsewhere, Nathan’s employees become frightened wondering why he wants to see them and even sending them a helicopter to bring them over.
Nathan was at the site scolding his employees for not working according to schedule and tells the ones who arrived in a helicopter to look around and find a solution to the company’s problems since it’s on the field and leaves with the helicopter.
Gino asked if it’s necessary to involve the departmental heads and Nathan said it is because sometimes you need to be strict to keep people on their toes. Elsewhere, Dani meets up with Racquel who teases her about not having a boyfriend and Dani said she wants someone romantic and for keeps.
James and Nathan have dinner together, he teases her about his ex-girlfriend pam as he flashbacks to how she stunned him up during his wedding. Elsewhere, Dani wasn’t so comfortable with the dress she was wearing but Racquel convinces her as she agrees.
Dani visits the washroom but had to go to the men’s washroom because she was pressed as Nathan arrives at the same club with everyone greeting him and heads straight for the restroom. Nathan and Dani clash in the washroom and Dani asks if he will like the l*ve cigarettes product she is selling but Nathan said he wanted her rather. Dani didn’t like it as they continued to argue shocking Nathan.
Nathan sees Dani again as she arrives at the VIP section where Nathan is sitting to sell some cigarettes. Nathan asked if she was following him as Dani becomes angry at him asking if he owns the club but she is told that Nathan owns the majority of shares at the club so he technically owns it as she is dragged out by the security.
Later, Nathan asked the security if they knew more about Dani but they didn’t. Outside, Racquel gives Dani her pay and wasn’t happy that Dani picked a fight with Nathan but she said she will fight if only she knows she is right. Nathan admires her from his car. James asked him who he was looking at.
The Next day, Regina tells Dani to stop wearing those kinds of dresses or people might have bad intentions about her. Dani tells them that she had a fight with a shareholder because he was very rude and because of him she didn’t make much sales so she will teach him a lesson.
The Next Day,Nathan and his family have breakfast and he asks his siblings about their various endeavours. His sister Lexie about work and assigned her a new position and his brother Justin about his bar exams while his other sister Iya and husband were present too. He receives a notification as he leaves for the office.
Dani arrives at the company training room and finds out that Nathan is the CEO of the company so she decides to leave but she is stopped by the one handling the recruitment. Elsewhere, Nathan had a meeting with his board as they discussed the next measures to take.
Later, Dani spots Nathan when they are on a tour of the building. She spots Nathan and tries to hide under a desk but Nathan quickly checks the CCTV footage for her and wonders why she is there. Dani tried to join the others later but the security dragged her and called Nathan that they have her as he smiles. Next Episode of Since I Found You Wednesday Episode 2
