“Cesar initiates Belen into their secret organization, RJ is exposed for framing Jake, Hope is discharged, Ellice plans to use Jake against Marissa while looking for ways to invalidate the non-disclosure contract signed “.
Jake visits Hope at the hospital and gives her a compilation of their written notes and midterm papers as Hope thanks him and informs him that she is going to be discharged tomorrow. Jake tells her to get enough rest because he, Chari and Alfred are there for her. He then receives a notification on his phone as he excuses himself saying he has a meeting with the dean.
At the college, Jake met RJ at the dean’s office as he showed Jake a CCTV footage revealing that RJ was the one who framed him up. Jake asks RJ why he did that to him and got him suspended portraying him like a cheater. The dean calms Jake down because he will sanction RJ for his deeds.
Gabriel and his family have lunch at the Villarosa Mansion, Carmelita asks if Marissa suspects that Ellice was involved in the expl0sion of her car as the entire family discusses the issue. Sonya then flashbacks to when Marissa told her that Ellice was responsible for her disappearance 17 years ago. Sonya asked if there could be a reason why Marissa is paranoid but Gabriel defended Ellice that she will never do that.
Later,Jake becomes angry at RJ for what he did to him. RJ said he only felt like doing that to him and he’s already suspended for what he did so he’s not the only one who hates him besides he was only following orders so if he thinks he is welcome in Hope’s family then he better think again as he leaves.
Ellice and Gabriel arrive in Hope’s ward and see her reading the notes Jake left her. Ellice said she’s glad Jake is available to help her with her studies and she has started to notice Jake is a good kid after he donated his bone marrow to her and reliased she has treated him unfairly.
Hope and Gabriel thank Ellice for accepting Jake as Ellice flashbacks to when he mets up with her attorney asking if there’s something she can do to invalidate the non-disclosure agreement she signed with Marissa and the attorney advices her to prove that she signed the contract under duress and the other party took advantage of the situation.
Ellice soliloquies that she knows Hope will be upset knowing that she has to give up her company so that Jake saves her life. At college, Alfred tries to calm Jake down and tells him to forget about RJ because his name has been cleared but Jake said what matters to him is Hope.
Lucing visits Hope with fruits. Hope tells her that she’s fine and will be discharged the next day. Elsewhere, Cesar tells Red that Marissa’s mom is getting on his nerve because she’s getting too close to the employees and might end up finding out about the organization because no one has said anything yet.
Blue visits Marissa, She asks him how Lucing is faring at the office. Blue said she is doing well but Belen is so irritating. Marissa then tells him that Avel was there and already explained things to her and has also promised to protect her against Cesar. Blue advises her that Avel is a wanted man and it won’t be wise to keep him around her as Lucing enters to check up on her.
At the Ceñidoza Mansion, Belen tells Ellice that she can no longer take Lucing’s presence in the office because she’s trying her best to win over their employees and to humiliate her in front of the board. Ellice tells her that Marissa used the same strategy before so she is sure that she is influencing Lucing to do the same thing and if she has to expose Marissa’s connection to the organization then she will do it shocking Belen.
At the hospital, The doctor congratulates and discharges Hope for making a full recovery and gives her some guidelines to follow as Gabriel and Ellice thank him. Hope said she is excited to go home. Elsewhere, Chona visits Lucing at the condo with some documents and thanks Lucing for helping out the employees in the short time she came to the office as compared to Ellice and her mom.
The Villarosa’s visit Hope with fruits, they become happy to see Hope home once again and advices her to follow the doctor’s instructions. Hope said she will follow it so that her parents won’t stress themselves again as Belen arrives that she’s happy Hope has returned home so it’s positive when a child is around and asks Sonya if her daughter is planning to return. Sonya tells her that Heidi is happy in the states and she and Enzo are going to support her decision.
Carmelita asks Belen the age Ellice was when Belen left her and Belen said she didn’t intend to do that as Helena tells her that it’s isn’t late for her to support and guide Ellice as Belen leaves. Elsewhere at the hospital, the doctor takes off Marissa’s neck brace. Blue asks her if she’s not worried to face her three worse enemies again when she goes back to the office and Marissa said she isn’t afraid of them.
RJ visits Hope at home with flowers when Jake arrives asking RJ what he’s doing there. RJ said they’re family friends so he has the right to visit Hope and Jake is only a ba$tard but Ellice tells RJ that he has no right to say that to Jake after everything he did to Hope.
RJ said Jake framed him up but Ellice said she trusts Jake and he should leave or else she will inform his parents about what happened as RJ leaves. Jake thanks Ellice for defending him and Ellice tells him not to worry because they’re family.
Chari, Alfred and Jake visit Hope at home. They are glad to see Hope healthy again so tell her the good news that RJ has been exposed for framing Jake and it was captured on the CCTV footage. Gabriel brings them some snacks and excuses Jake for a talk.
Gabriel tells Jake that he should have informed him about what RJ did to him because he can tell his parents about it and Jake said the dean has already suspended him. Gabriel can’t believe why RJ would do that so Jake tells him that RJ mentioned that someone in his family ordered him do it.
Avel calls Marissa to check up on her and he tells her that he’s keeping an eye on Cesar to put a stop to whatever he’s planning. Marissa tells him not to be reckless and go after the people who want him d£ad because they need a good plan before they can take them on. At the car park, Avel continues to monitor Cesar as he felt he is been followed and atta¢ks a couple in their car to find out if they are the ones spying on him.
At the Ceñidoza Mansion, Gabriel goes to Belen’s room to asks her if she’s the one who ordered RJ to make things worse for Jake but Belen denies it. Gabriel said he has seen how she manipulates Ellice and those around her and he will do everything to protect them from her.
At the Villarosa Construction, Sonya can’t believe Belen is involved in Jake’s issue at school and Gabriel said they can’t choose who their in-laws are but he is still there because he l*ves Ellice. Sonya asks him if he is only staying with Ellice for Hope’s sake.
Gabriel said he l*ves her that’s why he had accepted her completely with her flaws and he has no feelings for Marissa anymore so Sonya advises him to be careful because he might just be sleeping with the enemy and the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree especially looking at how Belen is manipulating Ellice.
Marissa and Ellice arrive at Ceñidoza as they confront each other in the elevator. Marissa asked why she is there since her absence wouldn’t be noticed even if she doesn’t come to work. At Ceñidoza, Chona and the employees surprised Marissa and Lucing with gifts to thank them for fighting for them as Cesar and Belen eavesdrop on them. Elsewhere Alfred tells Jake that it’s a bit strange that Ellice has a change of attitude toward him after filing a TRO against him and Jake said maybe she found out that he is not a bad person and Alfred asks if things won’t become bad again once she finds out they’re not really siblings and Jake becomes sad.
Later, Cesar welcomes Marissa back to the company and tells her that things are about to get exciting again. Marissa stares at Belen from afar and tells Cesar sarcastically that she heard that a storm of betrayal is brewing and it will be exciting to see him betrayed by the very people he trusted as Cesar looks at Belen angrily while Marissa leaves.
At the Ceñidoza mansion, Jake visits Hope to deliver some food that Lucing cooked and even massaged her hands. Elsewhere at the Ceñidoza parking lot, Belen is kidπapped by some men and it turns out it’s Cesar who is behind it as he welcomes Belen into the organization which she accepts.
At the Ceñidoza Mansion, Jake and Hope study when Ellice brings them some snacks to taste because it’s their father’s favorite.
