“Adelina asks Marissa for Ellice’s l!fe in exchange for her help, Marissa hires Avel as her body guard while Lucing gathers more evidence to prove that the Ceñidoza’s really took what belonged to them”.
At the Ceñidoza Mansion, Ellice packs up her things while telling Gabriel that she will be away for some few days and hopes he gets along with Belen in her absence.Gabriel said he has no problem with Belen but Ellice said he and Hope makes Belen feel unwelcomed in the house.
Gabriel tells her that Belen is acting too suspicious and doesn’t understand why she lives with them but Ellice said he was the same person who told her to give Belen another chance and she can’t abandon her like that.
Ellice said she welcomed Lucing into her house so why not her own flesh and she tolerated Sonya and Ramon for many years so it’s his turn to show her he cares about the people around her.
Elsewhere at La Sierra Belen’s spy shows Marissa a picture of Ellice being the queen of pearls for the Korea fashion week and Marissa tells him that she will make sure that her victory will be temporary.
Belen visits Cesar at his office, he showed her the company’s financial statements after their partnership with the Korean fashion week.
Belen said Ellice will be happy to find out that her hardwork is paying off. Cesar praises Belen for playing a big part in their success so Belen asks if she can be part of the company and Cesar said with her Ellice will be unbeatable.
At La Cascara, Lucing holds a picture frame of her and Nestor and finds a letter hidden at the back. After reading the letter she realized it was written by Nestor asking for her forgiveness because he had an affair with Belen and described how it all started and how they decided to run away, how he became sick and Jorge forcing him to give him his shares which he accepted and even though he knew he ruined their plans for a better future he hopes after he is gone she and Marissa will fight for what’s rightfully theirs as Lucing cries.
At the Ceñidoza mansion, Belen serves Hope some food in her room but Hope tells her to leave because she is not hungry. Belen tells her that she knows she is close to Lucing but she is not a good person and she is her real grandmother not Lucing but Hope tells her she doesn’t care if she is not blood related to Lucing since she has always taken care of her so Lucing will always be her grandma.
Later, Belen calls up Cesar complaining that Hope and Gabriel have both become thorns in her flesh. Cesar tells her that Marissa and her mom clearly have an influence on them all these years especially Gabriel and Belen said if she can’t get them to trust her then she’s going to make sure to keep Ellice away from them. Cesar said that won’t be easy because to Ellice her family is everything to her.
Hope asks Gabriel how he handles Ellice because with everything happening she is beginning to understand what he has been through with her. Gabriel tells her not to say such a thing since everything happening is a result of his one mistake which changed everything forever.
Hope then asks him where he gets the strength to endure everything and Gabriel said he wants their family to be together despite everything and he still l*ves Ellice as they hug.
After Blue was discharged from the hospital, he asks Lucing if she wouldn’t tell Marissa about what happened and Lucing tells him that she will tell her when they get home because they need to gather more proof.
Elsewhere, Cesar meets up with Belen, she asks him how powerful Marissa is that she managed to buy shares without Ellice’s concern. Cesar said he has a good feeling that Adelina played a part in that so Belen asks who’s Adelina.
Cesar said she is the former boss of their organization and she’s also protecting Marissa so he can’t k!ll her since Adelina is always in the way but Belen said it will be easy to get rid of Marissa now that Adelina is retired.
At La Sierra, Marissa was working late when she heard a noise in the company, she took out her kπife and got out of the office looking for the person there as she called out Tutti. The light goes off and she becomes scared so takes her hand bag and quickly rides home.
Marissa becomes frightened when she got home and Jake asks her what’s wrong. She tells Jake that she thinks someone else was present at her office along with her but she couldn’t find anyone and has a bad feeling about it so Jake said maybe he needs to stay with her next time to protect her.
At La Cascara, Lucing visits one of Nestor’s close friends. She asks him if Nestor ever mentioned his business with Jorge to him. The man tells her that Nestor was always happy working with Jorge because it will secure his family future until one day they find out he has sold all his shares and he never spoke about the business again and asks why Lucing is asking and she said she is just being curious.
Later, Blue and Lucing visit the police station to find out if they have a lead on the suspect. The officer tells them there is no lead yet but they posted his picture all over the town. Lucing then asks for a copy of the police report so they can use it as evidence in court.
Afterwards, they visited Ambo’s house. Lucing asks Ambo’s daughter Reina if she could testify in court for them and be a witness to what he told them in court. Reina accepted it because it’s her responsibility to fulfill her dad’s last wish.
The Next day, Marissa tells Tutti to find her a body guard because she has a bad feeling that someone is stalking and trying to get her. Elsewhere, Gabriel meets up with Enzo at the bar and welcomes him back from the states and asks how Heidi is doing. Enzo tells him that it’s been 17 years but Heidi hasn’t moved on after Gelo’s death.
Enzo then asks Gabriel how he is faring with Ellice and his in-law. Gabriel tells him that he doesn’t trust Belen and wants to find enough evidence against her so Ellice opens her eyes and won’t let Belen brainwash Ellice or tear his family apart.
Hope and Jake are chatting when she tells Jake that she is hungry so Jake prepares some food and delivers it to her at the Ceñidoza mansion. Jake wanted to leave to avoid problems but Hope tells him to stay for sometime since there is no one home.
At Ceñidoza, Ellice and her team celebrate since Ceñidoza has won the Korean fashion week soring high their popularity and opening doors for them making Ceñidiza a global company. Ellice thanks everyone for their support and tells them to be ready because they are going to be busy in the next couple of weeks.
Back to Ceñidoza mansion, Jake and Hope eat together and have fun. Jake tells her to get better soon because he really missed her and Hope thanks him. Elsewhere at Ceñidoza a board member tells Ellice, Belen and Cesar that she was forced by Marissa to sell her shares to her and she would have ruined her family if she hadn’t because she knows a secret about her. Ellice said she knew Marissa did that and Belen thanked her for cooperating with them.
Adelina visits Marissa at La Sierra, she said she told Marissa it’s possible for her to get the shares because she is using others mistake to get what she wants. Marissa thanks Adelina for helping her. Adelina tells her that her only request is for Marissa to finish off Ellice because she k!lled her son Victor and she wants Ellice’s life in exchange for everything and she should know that glory and success comes with sacrifices shocking Marissa.
Gabriel gives Hope a ride to college and tells her that he hopes they can dine together tonight, hugs her and leaves. Later, Jake gives Hope an apple and tells her he has really missed her. Elsewhere, Marissa bumps into Avel again spilling his shirt with wine that he was holding as flashbacks of their earlier meeting is shown.
Avel can’t believe it’s her again and Marissa said he’s the one who bumped into her because he is in a hurry and Avel said it’s because he’s going for a job interview and asks what Marissa is up to but she excuses herself because she doesn’t talk to strangers.
Blue gives some documents to Lucing and Lucing said she will give it to Marissa when they get home because she has always told Marissa to stop feeling jealous about Ellice because they didn’t have a stake in the business but she didn’t know they rather took away the company from them and she wants to get Marissa what’s rightfully hers and also clear her husband’s name.
Tutti informs Marissa that the bodyguard is in as Avel enters and sees Marissa. Marissa goes through his application and Avel says he didn’t expect Marissa to be interviewing him.
