“Marissa kicks off her plans to take over Ceñidoza, Jake exposes RJ’s evil intentions to Hope while Belen is playing it smart to gain Ellice’s forgiveness”.
At Ceñidoza, Ellice tells Pinky that she was very young when her mom abandoned her and doesn’t even remember the last time she saw her. Pinky asks if she’s not glad that her mom is still alive but Ellice tells her that she has enough problems as at now. Pinky asks if it won’t be better to have more people on her side at these difficult times because a mother is helpful at all times.
At College, Alfred asks Jake how he’s going to protect Hope from RJ now that she herself doesn’t want to listen to him. Jake refuses to give up and decides to find more evidence to expose RJ before Hope. Alfred suggests they ha¢k his social media accounts to get hold of his private chats but Jake said it’s illegal and suggested a different idea.
At Ceñidoza, the workers watch Marissa’s interview on Tv congratulating her and La Sierra for winning the Sugawara Clothing company bid. Ellice arrives to see Marissa being congratulated and interviewed on TV. Pinky also arrives and switches off the TV telling the workers to go back to work.

Gabriel picks up Hope after class, he tells her about her grandma Belen’s visit. Hope said she is dead but Gabriel tells her that’s what Ellice thought but it turns out that she’s alive all this years and she’s back. Hope asks Gabriel how her mom reacted to it.
At home, Hope serves Ellice some coffee and asks about her grandma Belen’s visit and also to apologize for her actions but Ellice said she understands her and rather the one to apologize as they hug and Gabriel looks at them from afar.
At the Condo, Marissa becomes angry at Jake for getting hurt because of Ellice and her daughter. Marissa reminds him that he’s just pretending to be the brother of Hope but not her boyfriend. Jake tells her that this will make Gabriel trust him more since he is protecting his sister but Marissa tells him it has to stop since he doesn’t want him to get hurt all because of Hope.
At the Ceñidoza Mansion, Ellice admits to Hope she has a lot of problems and doesn’t know how to handle everything but Hope encourages her not to worry because she will always be there for her and maybe her grandma Belen also wants to be by her side as Gabriel interrupts them.
At College, RJ’s friends call his bluff for promising them to get Hope into his b£d but he failed and they will wait for some results over the weekend and all this while Jake and Alfred eavesdrop on them. Alfred asks Jake what he will do next and Jake says he can’t abandon his sister.
Adelina meets up with Marissa to give her a document of the Ceñidoza board members so that Marissa can take the company away from Ellice and they decide to start with Mr. Delgado.
Elsewhere, Belen goes to Ellice’s office. Ellice was not happy to see her and asked if she wants money so she writes her a cheque but Belen said she only wants her time so she can make it up to her for all the lost years and she is still here mom so wants her to listen to her because she has no idea what she has been through.
Ellice tells her to leave because she has no right to demand anything from her after abandoning her. Belen was leaving when Cesar stopped her and introduced himself to her. Cesar even gives her his card so that Belen can contact her if she needs anything while Chona spies on them.
Marissa meets one of the Ceñidoza board members Mr. Delgado members and hands him some keys saying she thinks has what he wants as he takes the keys from Marissa smiling.
Gabriel arrives at his office to see Belen there begging for his help to sort things out with Ellice. Gabriel asks why she disappeared for so long and Belen said she had a misunderstanding with Ellice’s dad and she has to leave to protect Ellice since he also thr£atened the life of Ellice.
Gabriel asks why she didn’t come back after the death of Jorge but Belen said she was abroad and had no idea that Jorge had passed away so Gabriel asks why she came back now and Belen said she had stroke so wanted to meet her daughter before she dies and that’s why she returned so Gabriel said he will try talking to her.
Jakes goes to see Hope at the library but she wasn’t happy to see him. Jake wanted to talk to her about RJ but Hope tells him to leave her alone so he promised not to ever bother her as he gives her a pen drive and leaves.
Elsewhere, Gabriel tells Belen that he will see what he will do so Belen hugs him as Carmelita appears. Gabriel introduces Belen to Carmelita as Ellice’s mom as Belen leaves.
Later, Hope apologizes to Jake for not listening to him because after listening to the recording he gave her everything became clear. Hope then goes to the school board to file a sxxual harassment case against RJ. She is interrogated about when and how it happened. Hope said it happened in RJ’s house so she said it is off campus but after Hope insisted she hands over the pendrive to back her claims.
Carmencita sees Belen by the roadside and offers her ride by declines it saying she is waiting for her ride. Carmelita then invited her to join them for a family dinner tonight because it’s the entire family.
At night, Gabriel tells Ellice that Belen visited his earlier and Ellice tells him she dropped by her office too. Gabriel tells her to listen to what Belen has to say but Ellice said he can’t force her to do that. Hope and Lucing join them as they leave for dinner at the Villarosa mansion.
Gabriel and his family arrive at the Villarosa mansion. Ellice gets surprised to see Marissa and Jake already there. Sonya congratulates Marissa for winning the with Sugawara clothing bid. Marissa said she was also surprised La Sierra was selected from the competition and Sonya said she deserved it and she is so proud of her.
Ellice and Marissa begin to speak sarcastically to each other until Gabriel interrupts them and reminds them they are only there to celebrate as a family so they should drop it and respect the fact that their parents are present too. Carmelita says that she invited them to unite so why don’t they try and l*ve one another.
Jake realizes that Hope is bored so he sends her a text to cheer her up. Hope reads the message as she smiles. Hope goes to sit outside and Jake follows her, she thanks him for making her smile earlier.
Jake reminds her that they are also victims in this situation and they are siblings as Belen looks at them. Belen calls Hope inside because it’s cold or she might get sick as Jake leaves while Lucing arrives.
Belen asks Lucing if Jake is Gabriel’s illegitimate son and she says yes so Belen asks if her daughter betrayed her daughter Ellice. Lucing said she admits Marissa was wrong in that situation but she never tolerated it and Belen says what she doesn’t understand is why Marissa did that after everything Ellice did for her and despite that she has the guts to continue living with Ellice but Lucing tells her that she knows nothing about that and Belen said until now she can see Ellice is still hurting as Gabriel looks at them.
Lucing tells Belen until now her daughter is still paying for what she did and she is sure she has learnt from her mistakes. Lucing tries to leave but Belen grabs her arm asking if she really thinks Marissa has changed because she has no regrets but rather plays the victim. Lucing said she stayed with Ellice to make up for the short coming of people like her.
Belen approaches Marissa telling her to know her place because her daughter Ellice is still Gabriel’s wife. Marissa also makes it clear that her son is related to the Villarosa family that’s why she has every right to be there and asks why Belen is there as Ellice and Lucing arrive.
Ellice tells Marissa that Belen has the right to be there because she’s her mom. Lucing tells them to stop arguing and if they want Hope and Jake to continue fighting too and because Belen is a mother she should set a good example for them.
