“Marissa outsmarts Ellice to win a clothing bid, Jake rescues a drunk Hope from the clutches of RJ while Ellice’s biological mom makes an entry”.
Marissa tells Jake to be good to Gabriel and show him that he has been missing him for the past 17yrs as she hugs him. Chari and Hope meet at a restaurant, Chari asks Hope why she had drinks with RJ and if she is still angry at Jake.

At the Villarosa mansion, Jake had lunch with Gabriel and his family. Sonya says she’s sure if Ramon was alive he would have happily invited Jake everyday and he will probably be his favorite grandchild.
Gabriel gives Jake some food to try because it’s taste good, Jake calls Gabriel uncle as everyone looks at each other but Gabriel tells him that it’s okay if he’s not ready to call him dad and Sonya takes a picture of them.
Gabriel takes Jake to his old room at the mansion. He asks Gabriel how Hope is doing and Gabriel tells him that Hope is hurting and refuses to talk to him or her mom but they’re trying to do their best for her and also he will appreciate if he doesn’t inform Hope that they met for lunch and hopes they will one day be together. Marissa and Tutti arrive at the Sugawaras clothing launch late as she and Ellice look at each other. Marissa praises La Sierra suggesting they are best for the bidding. RJ and Hope arrive at his house, she asks him of his parents whereabouts but RJ tells her that they are out of town and asks Hope what she wants to do. Hope says she doesn’t know but anything to pass time and doesn’t want to go home. RJ tells her to relax for some drinks.

Ellice arrives home to a gift she received. When she asks Lucing who the sender is Lucing tells her that the sender didn’t mention who’s it from. Ellice looks at the gift as she flashbacks to her childhood when she misplaced her special comb given to her by her mom and told her dad she will only go with him when she finds it.
Gabriel, Hope and Jake arrive home. Gabriel tells everyone that they were lucky Jake knew RJ’s house else he didn’t know what RJ would have done to Hope. Hope tells them to stop acting like they are concerned parents and Gabriel should go play with his mistress.
Ellice shouted at her to stop talking to her father that way. Hope takes her bag from Jake and shows the picture of Gabriel and Jake to her. Ellice tells her that it still doesn’t give her the right to ruin her life because they trusted her to be responsible.
Hope tells her to stop talking about trust because everyone of them has lied to her and betrayed her and always reprimanded her about her actions lately as Ellice hugged her.
Lucing treats Jake’s wounds, she thanks him for being brave to defend his sister. Jake tells her that he’s the reason everyone is fighting but Lucing tells him that he is not at fault since he didn’t start anything and wants to take Jake home but Jake tells her that it’s okay. Lucing tells him that she’s his grandmother and wants to talk to his mom as they leave.
Gabriel and Ellice go to Hope’s room, Hope tells her parents to leave her alone as Gabriel says they need to talk about what just happened. Hope asks him what he wants to discuss with her so Ellice tells her that Gabriel told her about meeting Jake but it was her decision to hide it from her because she doesn’t want her to get hurt.
Hope asks her why she is allowing her dad disrespect her but Ellice says her dad goes to meet Jake but not Marissa and has responsibilities to his son as Hope starts crying and they hug.
Lucing and Jake arrive at the Condo, Marissa becomes happy to see her mom as she tells her to join them for dinner but Lucing declines. Marissa approached her asking if there was a problem and Lucing said she can’t f00l her because she is trying to ruin Gabriel’s marriage and she has done the same thing before and it’s been two decades so it’s time she leaves Ellice alone.
Marissa becomes emotional asking if she will still choose Ellice over her until now. Lucing tells her that she’s wrong because she’s not taking Ellice’s side but she’s setting her straight as a mother and it pains her to see her completely consumed by anger and jealousy as she leaves.
Later, Ellice tells Gabriel that she lost a very big contract and would have won if La Sierra wasn’t around. Gabriel tells her not to worry because other opportunities will come but Ellice said she doesn’t still understand the threat La Sierra is posing to her company. Gabriel assures her he will always be there for her as they hug.
Marissa meets her new client from the Sagawara clothing company. She tells him that they won’t fail him and it’s a wise decision for choosing La Sierra as Marissa flashbacks to when she went to Sagawara clothing company to change the Ceñidoza pearls bid to La Sierra.
RJ approached Hope at college saying they got interrupted last night and they should talk when she’s free. Hope becomes angry at him that there’s nothing to talk about and he thinks she doesn’t know he wanted to take advantage of her.
RJ pretentiously tells her he only wanted to change her clothes but Jake got the wrong idea and since they are family friends he won’t do anything to break her parents’trust, asking if she can really trust Jake. Later, RJ confronted Jake saying that Hope is a grown woman and doesn’t need him to keep stalking her all the time.
Elsewhere, Hope tells Chari that she left something at class so she should wait for her at the cafeteria. Back to RJ, he tells Jake that he is jealous because he can no longer do the things he can do to his sister and they started fighting as Hope arrives to stop them. Jake tells Hope that he’s protecting her from that bad guy but Hope says he should stop because she has heard enough as Hope and RJ leave.
Marissa meets up with Adelina, she tells her that she has 30% shares in Ceñidoza but she needs to buy more stocks to take away the company ownership from Ellice. Adelina tells her that she will give her shares to her and she will even help her acquire the shares of the other board members.
At home, Lucing hears the door bell ring so goes to open the door and is shocked to see Ellice’s real mom(Belen) standing there. Ellice asks Lucing who’s at the door and gets shocked to see her mom. Ellice started crying and saying she can’t believe she has been alive all these years and only decided to show herself after so many years.
Ellice mom(Belen) tells her to exercise patience for her to explain things but Ellice says there’s nothing to explain anymore because she’s good as dead to her and what gives her the right to come back into her life after abandoning her all this years even though she was alive so she doesn’t need her as Ellice leaves. Gabriel and Lucing look at them and Gabriel approaches Belen telling her that maybe it’s not the right time.
Lucing tells Belen to understand the way Ellice reacted because she’s going through a lot. Belen tells Lucing that she understands her so she will go and come the next day as she leaves. Lucing flashbacks to when she realized that her husband was having an affair with Ellice’s mother Belen.
