“Hope and Jake are growing closer. Jake finally meets Ellice, Gabriel and Lucing while La Sierra is becoming a real threat”.
A girl spotted Jake and Hope at the library and rushed to inform the security guard to open the door. The security personnel ask them what they’re doing there. Jake tells him that they were locked up and his friend Hope had an asthma attack. The security tells them to leave else if they sleep over he’ll be blamed of not doing his job well. They got up and thanked the guard who told them not to repeat that again as they left.
Ellice tries to call Hope when she arrives and hugs her mom. Ellice asks her where she has been because she and Lucing were worried about her so what happened as Jake entered shocking Ellice. Hope tells her that they were locked inside the library, she introduces Jake to her mom as her project partner.
Ellice tells Jake that she has heard about him, his reputation is not good and Hope tells her that he saved her life, she had asthma attack and he’s her friend. Ellice apologizes to him and asks him if he would like to eat his dinner with them.
At the dinning table, Lucing asks him of his full name again and he said he’s Jake Zulyani. She then asks him if his parents are aware he’s with them but Jake tells them that he lives alone and his mom is abroad in Indonesia and text him from time to time.
Lucing again asks of his father, he says he’s gone and Lucing asks him if he really passed away as Jake said he can say that. Lucing asks him if he likes her granddaughter Hope but Ellice changes the topic asking if he likes the food. Ellice tells him that if they have a project to do then they can do it at home so they know that they are both safe.
Ellice continues that he’s always welcome in their home and he thanks them. Later, Ellice tells Hope that Jake seems to be a decent guy and she was a bit apprehensive about him especially when she spoke to RJ and he tells her the rumors about him in school and then she remembers the stories she told her about that guy.
Hope tells her that she also judged him quickly but she can now feel that she can rely on him and if it wasn’t him, she would have spent the whole night trapped in the library. Ellice tells her to promise her that she’ll always keep her phone besides her so that she’ll know that she’s always safe. Hope apologizes for making her worry and Ellice tells her to get some rest as she leaves.
Jake calls the one he always speaks to on the whiles treating his injury, he tells her that there’s some girl in his unit and when he first met her, she acted like a real snob but when he got to know her he got to know that she’s actually cool and he will introduce them when she returns as he flashbacks to when they were locked at the library and said at that time, he hopes she’ll be his girlfriend.
The Next day at the school canteen, Alfred came to meet Jake eating. Jake asks him if RJ and his friends are still bothering him, but Alfred tells him that not anymore and asks him how he is feeling after seeing his injury.
Elsewhere, everyone looks at Hope when she arrives with Charie. She tells Charie that she doesn’t understand why everyone is looking at her. Charie tells her that people are saying she and Jake had a moment section at the library last night shocking her.
Hope tells her they didn’t do anything and she’s not $tupid so nothing happened. Hope thinks that after everything that happened, she thought she could trust Jake but it turns out he was only willing to use her just to keep his womanizer image. Charie tells her to wait because she doesn’t know the truth yet maybe is just some jealous trend or rumors in the school and Jake isn’t the one who spread it around.
At the Ceñidoza house, Ellice packed Gabriel’s lunch, she tells him that she added extra food so that he can share it with other people, Gabriel thanked her and picked it as he leaves.
At school, an angry Hope meets Jake, she asks him if he doesn’t feel bad spreading lies and she is so disappointed because she thought he’s more than what they say about him. Jake asks why he will spread a rumor like that and tells her that it’s is not what she thinks, he reminds her that he told her that he wanted them to be friends and it also mean, he won’t do anything to break her trust in him.
Hope said he just did and it was only them last night so that fact is enough for her. Jake asks her if he’s really like that and people don’t care about the truth and they only believe what they want to believe even if he tells them the truth as Hope looks at him and leaves.
RJ and his friends met Jake, he tells Jake that he’s not done with him yet as Jake looks at him and tells him that he doesn’t have to explain anything to him. RJ tells him that he knows what he’s doing, Jake decided to leave but RJ pushed him backwards and it becomes a fight between them. After the fight, RJ tells Jake to stay away from Hope because she’s his and Jake tells him Hope doesn’t belongs to anyone because she’s her own woman as he leaves.
Carmelita, Helena, Sonya and Cristina visits Gabriel’s family as Hope arrives home. Hope becomes happy and hugs everyone. Ellice asks her if she’s okay and she says she’s fine but just tired from school. Hope thanked them for their gifts.
Gabriel asks Hope how school went and she tells him that it was fine and nothing went wrong, Sonya interrupted that she’s not fine as everyone’s mood changed. She continues that they should stop treating Hope like a kid with no thought and she should tell her what’s bothering her or does she have any problems with her parents then she should tell them because they’re there to back her up as Gabriel stops her.
Ellice tells her that Hope is really opened with them and they give her the freedom to say what she wants to say and precisely she doesn’t need any support from her. She hugs Hope as Lucing appears. Hope asks Lucing to accompany her to her room so she can change her dress as she excuses herself.
Gabriel goes to Hope’s room with a gift, she said it been while that she receives such a gift and Gabriel tells her that she will always get this from her dad to cheer her up and he asks her if there’s any problem then she can share it with him. Hope said everything is fine but Gabriel tells her if there’s anything bothering her, she doesn’t needs to keep it to herself.
Hope said she has to and she can only trust herself, he asks her what makes her say that, Hope said if she trusts others they are going to betray her so she guess it betters for her to trust herself at least she’s in control of her own actions. At the Villarosa Mansion, Carmelita scolds Sonya for interfering with Gabriel’s issues and Hope’s upbringing. Sonya reminds her that they went there purposely to solve the couples issue which is clearly affecting Hope. Helena reminds her that Hope is just an innocent child but Sonya says Hope is no longer a kid and she has the right to be heard because her parents always decide for her or else she will end up miserable.
Cristina asks why she said that because she clearly remembered how strict she was on Heidi when she was growing up. Sonya said she didn’t want Heidi to end up like her and becomes emotional shocking them all.

At Ceñidoza Company, Ellice holds a meeting with her employees about their upcoming pearls release for the year and tells them it has to be perfect instructing them on what to do.
One employee asks if they should fear La Sierra because for the first time in a long time they have a real competitor who poses as a threat but Ellice said of course not since they are only a novice in the business but they have been in the business for decades.
Later, Pinky informs Ellice that she has a visitor and it’s Adelina arriving in a wheelchair telling Ellice that she came to check her investment at Ceñidoza. Ellice tells pinky to call Cesar. Ellice tries to flatter Adelina but Adelina tells her how could anyone look good in a wheelchair as Cesar arrives telling her that it’s a great surprise to see her but Adelina only asked about her investment.
Ellice tells Adelina that she will let Cesar to draft a report to her to show how well her investment is faring in her company. Adelina then asks her that she heard there is a new player in the business which is a great threat to Ceñidoza.

At Ceñidoza, pinky enters Ellice’s office as she asks her what she has found out. Jake and Alfred meet Hope and Charie at campus, they look at each other as Hope moves on while he’s still looks at her as RJ looks from afar. Elsewhere, Hope goes to the library as she saw Jake already there learning and she flashbacks to when Charie showed her the video. She approaches him and asks him if he really meant what he said and gives him a book as Jake asks her what it’s for.
Hope tells him that she’s sorry for blaming him for the rumors and she should have been more matured about it instead of drawing conclusions and she’s sorry. Jake collected the book and said her apology is accepted and he understands what she did before so he just wanted to show her that she can indeed trust him, he won’t let anyone destroy their friendship as Hope becomes happy and seated in front of him.
At home, The doorbell rings Lucing said that might be Jake and tells Gabriel he’s Hope’s partner at school for their project shocking Gabriel as she leaves to opens the door. Lucing then introduces him to Gabriel. Lucing leaves to get Hope. Gabriel offers Jake a seat and they begin to chit chat about Gabriel construction designs and Gabriel even offered to give him a book to better his drawing skills as Jake thanks him. Hope interrupted them and he goes with Hope as Gabriel looks at him.
Gabriel goes to their room and meets Ellice, he tells her that he doesn’t understand that boy named Jake who is with his daughter, Ellice tells him that he’s Hope’s classmate and he is nice but when Hope first meet him, they couldn’t stand each other and now it seems they’re getting close to each other so does he approved him for Hope.
Gabriel said it seems he’s a nice boy but Hope is still a baby besides he’s sure she’s not thinking of those things yet. Later, Hope looks at Jake’s pictures on her phone and she likes his picture. Jake received a notification that Hope has liked his pic as they started chatting each other.
The Next day, after class, Hope and Jake seem to be getting along and she tells him they need to hurry to the library for their project. He wanted to give her the book they were fighting over at the book store. Hope flashbacks to that day as she begins to shed tears of joy hugging and thanking him.
At VC, Gabriel goes through their designs and asks Sonya why the client keeps changing their mind. Sonya said maybe it seems they’re still not convinced and they are paying for all the revisions.
Gabriel said he has to talk to the owner himself to figure out what they actually want because they don’t know who they’re working for or what they want. Sonya tells him the owner is busy and she hasn’t even met them yet and heard they are still in Indonesia as Gabriel looks frustrated.
Pinky goes to Ellice office to show her a document saying that 30 minutes after the release of La Sierra’s latest collections everything was sold out shocking Ellice.
