“Ellice is blackmailed by Francis with her horrible past as she continues to push Gabriel away while Marissa continues to be nice to Gabriel”.
Gabriel and Ellice have dinner together, he asks Ellice how her meeting went and who she met up with and Ellice said it’s a potential investor and asks Gabriel why he is suddenly asking her those questions and if he is worried she will cheat on him and do exactly what he did to him. Gabriel soliloquies that Ellice is a very different person now and he can’t recognize her anymore or is it the punishment of his mistake.
Gabriel calls Marissa on the phone to inquire if she has any information about the person Ellice met up with last night. Marissa tells him to ask pinky and Gabriel said he can’t so Marissa offered to find that out for him.
At Ceñidoza, Pinky informs Ellice about her schedule for the day and tells her that she has a meeting with Francis but her schedule is packed but Ellice orders her to cancel some of her meetings so she can meet up with Francis. Pinky gives her a bouquet of flowers with a note attached as she smiles. Pinky asked if Francis was behind her smile but Ellice tells pinky that he’s just a from Lacaskara and all this while Tutti was eavesdropping on them.
Tutti then goes to Marissa’s office with Blue also present to inform them that she thinks Ellice is having another man and the man just sent her some flowers shocking them. Marissa tells her that the flowers is probably from Gabriel but Tutti insists that it isn’t. Marissa ask her if it’s the same man she met last night and Tutti tells her that she has no idea but she heard she will be meeting up with him again tonight as Marissa looks suspicious.
Later, Gabriel calls Ellice offering to go out with her but Ellice tells him that she has an appointment so she’s sorry maybe next time so Gabriel said okay. Both Gabriel and Ellice are in deep thoughts in their respective officers when Gabriel receives a message from Marissa that she’s cooking and wants to know if he will come over to see Jacob so Gabriel replied that he is looking forward to the food and also to see Jacob. He then asks himself how Marissa is always there when he needs someone to lean on.
Tutti sneaks around the office and goes through pinky’s dairy to find out who Ellice has been meeting up with. She then goes to Marissa’s office to tell her that it’s Francis Angeles shocking Marissa who flashes back to when Ellice was driving and they bypassed Francis but she was cold to him so she even asked why she did that.
Ellice meets up with Francis at a restaurant, Francis tells her that Marissa slept with her husband and she is still living with him under the same roof but Ellice tells him it’s only for the sake of her daughter. He then said she and Marissa work in the same and Ellice said she sold her 30% of the company shares and she didn’t know then that she had a child with her husband and she was betrayed by her husband and best friend.
Francis tells her that even back then he has always doubted her friendship with Marissa and she was like a social climber and she wouldn’t be where she is now if she didn’t stand up for her and the fact that she k!lled Victor his assumptions about her are all true and she doesn’t deserve what they did to her because she is a good person as Ellice looks at him tensely.
Gabriel arrives at Marissa’s Condo. Marissa tells Gabriel he asked Lucing to prepare his favorite food so Gabriel goes to check on Jacob before his dinner as Lucing looks at Marissa unhappy knowing very well what her daughter is up to.
Elsewhere, Ellice tells Francis that her life used to be complete but now she only has Hope and both her parents have passed away. Francis tells her that he’s there for her and Ellice said she’s greatful he came into her life just when she needed a friend.
At her Condo, Gabriel tells Marissa that it’s good to see her smile again and asked if she’s happy. Marissa said she’s happy and feeling pretty content because she has everything in life. She asked Gabriel what’s happening in his life and Gabriel said he doesn’t know
since his dream of having a complete family seems impossible right now and he doesn’t know if he and Ellice can go back to the way they were but he knows he should be happy because he has Hope and Jacob and that alone is enough reasons to be happy.
Gabriel then ask her if she has found out who Ellice has been meeting up with, Marissa flashbacks to when Tutti informs her that Ellice meets up with Francis but tells Gabriel that she heard it was an official business and he has nothing to worry about.
Ellice ask Francis why he isn’t married yet and he said he has been busy so Ellice asked what kind of excuse is that because he is a self made man and she sure any woman will fall for him. Francis tells her that he fell in l*ve with a woman years ago but she’s married now. Ellice tells him it’s that woman’s loss because he is a great guy and Francis said he is glad she thinks so.
Gabriel thanks Marissa for being the good friend and he never had thought the two of them would become good friends. Marissa asks Gabriel if he ever regretted what happened between them and they having Jacob.
Gabriel said the only thing he regret is breaking his wife’s trust but never regrets being a father to Jacob and he wished they had him under different circumstances, different time and a different point in their life and tells a teary Marissa that she is a good person with a beautiful heart heart and she deserves to be l*ved the right way and whoever that man is he will be a lucky man as they hug amid the tears and Gabriel leaves.
Lucing tells Marissa that she doesn’t like it that he is trying to sedu¢e Gabriel. Marissa said if she wanted to sedu¢e Gabriel then she would have told him about Ellice also so Lucing asked what exactly. Marissa tells her that Ellice is with another man right now and he is their childhood friend from Lacaskara and she didn’t tell Gabriel about him.
Lucing ask her if she means Ellice is cheating on Gabriel and Marissa said she doesn’t care what Ellice choose to do with her life but the reason she didn’t tell Gabriel is that she knew it will hurt him. Lucing appreciated Marissa’s decision and believes she still cares for Ellice deep down.
Elsewhere, Ellice thanks Francis for listening to her and he tells her to text or call him if she needs someone to talk to and he will see her at her office tomorrow to sign the contract making her happy. Francis ki$$ed Ellice on the lip while hugging her so Ellice $laps him and ask why he did that.
Francis apologizes and tells her that she’s the woman he has l*ved all these years. Ellice tells him how dare him take advantage of her vulnerability. As she was leaving, Francis tells her that he knows she’s the one who k!lled Victor shocking Ellice who turned to look at him.
A scared Ellice asked him what he just said to her and Francis said he has proof because he saw everything that happened on that dreadful night like how Marissa helped her but she was the one who k!lled Victor. Ellice asks him what he wants from her and Francis says he wants her and Ellice tells him over her dead body so Francis thr€atens her that they will all wait to see what her husband will say when he finds out that she’s the one who k!lled Victor and that his mistress is innocent as Ellice looks at him frightened.
At the Ceñidoza mansion, Gabriel took his locket and soliloquies that the locket is one of the things that gives him strength and hope but everything changed when she came into his life and now he has someone he can rely, lean, understand and who gives him strength and doesn’t know why he feels this way about Marissa.
Later, Francis visits Adelina who asks how his date went and he tells her that it triggered Ellice’s guilty conscience because of what she did to Victor. Adelina said at long last her son’s death will be avenged and Ellice will pay for what she did.
At home, Ellice with a glass of wine in her hands flashbacks to when she mistakenly k!lled Victor and her earlier talk with Francis that accused her of murd£ring Victor. Elsewhere, Adelina ask Francis if he’s really sure that Ellice will accept his indecent proposal and Francis said because she l*ves her husband so she will do everything to keep him from learning what she did to Marissa.
