“Ramon dies and a confrontation begins between Marissa and Ellice at the wake and Ellice also kicks Gabriel out after Ramon named Jacob in his Last Will”.
Gabriel goes to Hope’s room and sees Ellice fast asleep, He then returns back to his room and takes his lucky charm locket. Later Ellice comes to tell him that she wants to sleep in their room tonight so he can take the couch outside as Gabriel picks his pillow and leaves the room.
The Next Day, Heidi meets up with Gelo at a cafeteria, she tells him he looks handsome so Gelo suggests they take a picture together but Heidi tells his to cut it out.
Sonya also arrives at the work place and asks one of the workers about Gelo whereabouts. She tells Sonya that Gelo is at the cafeteria taking his break with her daughter Heidi shocking Sonya who sends the employee to go call him.
At the Cafeteria, Gelo ask Heidi if she’s okay being together now because her mom might find out and scold her again but Heidi tells him to not worry since her mom doesn’t visit the cafeteria so he should forget about her and focus on his training and Gelo said he will do anything for her.
Gabriel goes back to his father’s company. Ramon says he left their company for his wife’s company only to get kick out at the end and Gabriel tells him to drop that because it was a joint decision so Roman welcomes him back to Villarosa construction company and tells him he is glad he is back.
At work, Sonya’s secretary tells Gelo that Sonya has instructed him to arrange the files in the storage room and it’s her order. Gelo obeyed his instructions as Sonya looks at them from her office.
Gabriel goes to Marissa’s house looking for her but Lucing tells him to stay away from Marissa, Gabriel said he wants to talk to her so Marissa tells her mom to let him in.
Gabriel tells Marissa that he came to check if she was okay. Marissa asked if he saw what his wife did to her but he just stood there and didn’t do anything and now he came there to
to check up on her. Gabriel tells her to understand because he can’t do anything. A crying Marissa said she was always there when they needed her but when she needed him he did nothing and as his friend he should have defended her.
Gabriel apologizes for hurting her and assures her that she is important to him as his work partner and the mother of his child as he hugged her. Gabriel leaves and Lucing hugs Marissa as they both cry their eyes out.
Gabriel meets up with his friend at a bar, he tells his friend that because of a mistake he made it has ruined both of their lives. His friend asked him for his plans and Gabriel said he wants to save his marriage with Ellice but he can’t just abandon Marissa and Jacob and he can’t just believe that he turned out just like his father and the only difference is he will take responsibility for his actions so that he won’t hurt them further.
At home, Gabriel tells Ellice that it’s all his fault and he deserves to be punished but no one else needs to suffer. Ellice said she knows he hurt her but it wasn’t only him because Marissa did too and she already set things right when she fired her from her company.
Marissa visits Adelina, she meets Cesar who gives her a newspaper to go through some classified ads since she needs to start searching for a new job but she collects it and throws it away. Adelina instructed Cesar to excuse them because there’s something important they need to discuss.
Marissa tells her that she needs her help to return back to Ceñidoza. Adelina said she’s disappointed in Marissa and doesn’t understand why she wants to return besides Cesar is still there so she’s not needed there so she should move on but Marissa said she has to settle a score with Ellice so she needs to return to Ceñidoza.
Adelina said all this time she thought Marissa had a soft spot for Ellice but Marissa tells her that whatever she feels for Ellice now is because of all the times she disregarded all the kindness and support she had for her and her company and she herself showed her she doesn’t deserve her kindness and support. Adelina said very well she will help her out.
Marissa arrives home and Lucing asks her how her job search went and she shouldn’t worry because she’s intelligent and diligent and a lot
of companies will be lucky to hire her. Marissa tells her that she hasn’t lost her hope and she will do everything for her son so she will return to Ceñidoza because that’s where she belongs as Lucing looks at her.
Gelo arrives right after Sonya at the work place and Sonya can’t believe he is late and asks why he behaves as if he doesn’t want to be there.
Later, Gelo was holding a lot of documents when Heidi tried to help him not and doesn’t understand why he is carrying all that since it’s not included in his internship program but Gelo said it is okay so Heidi tells him to take advantage and learn more.
At night, Gelo had to stay overnight to go over some blue prints and an employee was so amazed by his determination.
At the Villarosa mansion, Carmelita changes flowers in a vase unfortunately a picture frame of her and Ramon besides the vase falls down and breaks as she holds the broken frame. Elsewhere, Sonya came to Gabriel at a construction site crying, Gabriel ask why she’s crying and Sonya tells him it’s about dad.
Someone also called Carmelita to inform her that something happened to Ramon. Later,The Villarosa’s visited the morgue and cried over Romans lifeless body. Roman’s wake commences.
Sonya brings Marissa to the wake and Ellice gets shocked to see Marissa there. She approaches Marissa and tells her that mistresses like her aren’t welcome there. Marissa said she only came to extend her sympathies and she is not there to cause any trouble.
Ellice asked why she had to come there the same time she is there because she’s is the legal wife. Marissa said she came there as Jacob’s mom and the mother of Ramon’s grandson. Ellice asked how shameless she can be to show her up in front of everyone knowing that her child was as a result of an affair.
Marissa said it is not her fault that Ramon himself l*ved and saw Jacob as part of the family more than she and Hope so Ellice becomes angry and atta¢ks her as they begin to fight with everyone trying to separate them and Sonya holding Marissa.
Carmelita said she knows Marissa and her son were close to Ramon but she shouldn’t cause a scene and have some respect for her husband’s memory as Marissa apologizes to her and she leaves with Sonya looking angrily at Ellice.
Outside,Marissa cries her eyes out.
Later, Ellice apologizes to Carmelita for her actions and Carmelita tells her to control herself if not for her then for her late husband and she knows she has a lot of resentment towards Ramon but she needs to forgive him.
Ellice asked if it was worth it holding on to Ramon until the very end and Carmelita tells her that for the first time in a long time Ramon thanked her before he died and called her up just a few hours before his heart attack so that short phone call made her feel l*ved and he also told her that he appreciated all the sacrifices she made all over the years. Ellice asked her if that was enough for the years of pain.
Carmelita tells her that no relationship is perfect but they kept their vows to each other until the very end so for the same rights she needs to stay strong for her family and shouldn’t allow Marissa take Gabriel from her since she’s the wife but Marissa is only the mistress. Ramon’s lawyer arrives at Villarosa mansion, he gathers the family so he can read out Ramon’s last will and testament. Marissa also arrives so Ellice ask her what’s she’s doing there and the lawyer tells Ellice that he called her because she’s part of Ramon’s will and testament shocking everyone as Ellice looks at Gabriel.
The lawyer reads the will as Carmelita had the Villarosa mansion. Gabriel, Helena, Cristina and Sonya also had the Villarosa construction to be shared equally and the presidency will be determined by the board, 15 million pesos to each and to be withdrawn after the reading of the will.

Heidi said her mom is making things worse that’s why she doesn’t feel like going home sometimes and their family is full of drama. Gelo asks if she wants them to go on a date and Heidi tells him to keep dreaming as Sonya appears.
Sonya ask Heidi what’s she’s doing at the office, Heidi tells her that she came to get some blue prints. Sonya asks Gelo why he isn’t working during office hours and rather chatting with her daughter since he is a nobody who does her bidding but doesn’t include flirtiπg with her daughter so he better stay away from her if he doesn’t want to be fired as she leaves ordering Heidi to follow her as Gelo looks on disappointed.
Gabriel goes to Ellice’s room to talk to her. An angry Ellice asks him what he wants to say and how many more of his lies she has to hear. Gabriel said he wanted to tell her and was only waiting for the right time. Ellice asks what he means by the right time because if his father hadn’t died she wouldn’t have known about all those things and if he has any idea how she felt when the Attorney mentioned Jacob’s name.
She felt like she was drowning and couldn’t breath and she even felt like he and his father were ganging up on her and she expected him to be by her side and keep protecting her but he keeps betraying her over and over again and she hasn’t forgiven him yet for his affair with Marissa and now he has betrayed her again.
Gabriel apologizes to her begging her to give him a chance to make it up to her but Ellice said no she is done and doesn’t think there is anything he can do to make her forget all the horrible things he made her feel so he should get out as Ellice breaks down in tears.
